🇩🇪✨ My Second Day in Germany: A Fairytale Experience - Stunned by Neuschwanstein Castle, a Horse-Drawn Carriage Ride Down the Mountain Like Nobility, Afternoon Tea by the Lake Like a Fairytale, Finding a Small Thread of Faith in an Old Church
—How could this day be so dreamlike?

🏰 【Morning|Neuschwanstein Castle—The Second I Saw It, I Thought I'd Walked into Disneyland】
On my second day in Germany, I thought I was just going to see a castle, but when I looked up, Neuschwanstein Castle itself gave me a "fairytale-level shock."
The mist flowed through the mountains, the white castle standing on the cliff like a mythical relic,
every spire, every arched window frame seemed meticulously sculpted by a fairy.
I stood there, mouth agape for two seconds.
Some say:
"The photo is a 90, Neuschwanstein Castle is a 200."
After seeing it, I think it's more than just—
it's 500. Even 800.
Do you know that feeling?
It's like watching a Disney opening animation as a child and suddenly it comes to life…
And you're standing inside it.

🐴 [Noon | Horse-drawn carriage ride down the mountain—For the first time, I felt like a medieval duke]
After seeing the castle, I decided not to walk down the mountain.
I wanted to do something I'd never thought I'd have the chance to do on my bucket list:
I'd ride! a! horse! carriage! down! the! mountain!
The horses' hooves tapped on the wet cobblestones,
the air was filled with the scent of the forest, the cool mist, and the tranquility of a German mountain town.
Two large horses swayed slowly, their rhythm making me want to sleep…
I thought to myself:
"If I fall asleep here, will I wake up in the Middle Ages?"
Tourists were taking pictures nearby, while I was immersed in the feeling of—
"Wow, I'm really living in a European storybook."

🌊☕ 【Afternoon | Afternoon Tea in the Old Town by the Lake—A Cafe Next to a Wonderland】
The horse-drawn carriage swayed back down to the town at the foot of the mountain.
The houses there were small and charming, with wooden-framed windows and floral doorplates;
the whole town looked like it had been taken straight out of a jigsaw puzzle box.
I found a small shop by the lake and sat down.
The mist, the lake surface, and the colors reflected on the water from the wooden houses…
it looked like a calendar cover.
I sipped hot cocoa, ate dessert,
and watched the swans slowly drifting by on the lake (yes, there really were swans).
In that moment, I thought:
"This is what travel is all about, isn't it? It's not about rushing everywhere, but about sitting down and feeling the world slowly unfold before you."

🛕 【Evening | Old Church—A Local's Center of Faith, Yet Gently Welcoming Travelers】
After afternoon tea, I entered a small church,
not the kind crowded with tourists,
but a "living church" where locals genuinely stop, light a candle,
and sit down to pray quietly.
The exterior was unassuming, but once inside—the scent of wooden chairs, the light reflected from the stained glass,
so quiet you could hear your own breathing.
I sat in the last row.
No prayers, no requests,
just quiet.
The feeling was magical: like someone gently placed a warm shawl on your shoulders.
I finally understood why this was a local's center of faith—not grandeur, not tourism,
but a place of "spiritual homecoming."

🌙 【Conclusion|The Second Day in Germany: A Perfect Blend of Fairytale, Tranquility, and Soul】
This day was so complete, so multifaceted.
• Neuschwanstein Castle: Breathtaking + Dreamlike + Epic
• Horse-drawn carriage ride down the mountain: Romantic + Slow-paced + Medieval atmosphere
• Afternoon tea by the lake: Healing + Serenity + European lifestyle
• Old church: Soul + Warmth + Peace
You'll feel:
"So this is how Europe gently seeps into your heart."
To be treated like this on your second day in Germany,
is truly overwhelming.
So dreamy, so tranquil, so unreal, like living in a story.
And—you haven't even gone home yet, but you're already missing it.
