This is a good place in Kedah where you can buy traditional snacks, clothings and items. We went there on Friday so some of the stalls are closed. i always vsit this place went ever i visit kedah and perlis, you can buy any local dessert, local product and malay proud goodies and dress here, dont forget to visit stall number 68( hopefully corrent) mak cik fatimah kuih denderam , miss the kuih.. the best denderam People here are very friendly. The complex opens at around 10am daily. Plenty to see, shop and buy. Although each stall sells similar stuff but it is still nice to walk around. A must-visit place. The Zahir Mosque is a mosque in Alor Setar, Kota Setar, Kedah, Malaysia, and the state mosque of the state of Kedah. The Zahir Mosque is one of the grandest and oldest mosques in Malaysia, having been built in 1912. The Zahir Mosque has been voted as one of the top 10 most beautiful mosques in the world. Masjid Zahir atau juga dikenali sebagai Masjid Zahrah merupakan Masjid Negeri Kedah. Bangunan bersejarah ini terletak di tengah-tengah bandar raya Alor Setar. Ia juga dikenali sebagai Masjid Raja kerana ia merupakan masjid Diraja dan terletak di perkarangan Istana Pelamin. Masjid Zahir merupakan mercu tanda yang terkenal di Alor Setar, dengan ciri kubah hitam - satu kubah utama dan lima kubah lebih kecil, yang melambangkan lima rukun Islam.

Now there are Vietnamese and Japanese restaurants next to each other in Alor Setar. The shop is located right in front of Aman Central. You can choose whether you want to eat Japanese or Vietnamese food. Sushi is also available. The food is delicious and there are many options. The price is reasonable. The important thing is that you don't have to go far if you want to eat food other than local food.

Kidzoonia is mostly found in malls which is great as sometimes it's convenient for the parents as well. Parents like myself for an instant because I'll be able to get a treat for myself after too. If you depart from Georgetown, Penang, first you have to take a 20 minute ferry to Butterworth Sentral. Then a KMUTER train ride to Alor Setar, Kedar. It takes a little more than 1 hour. Zahir Mosque located in the center of the city. This is a perfect day trip. The town itself has little tourist attractions, except this stunning mosque with black dome. Words won’t do it justice.

i just got back from my short vacation w my teammate. we go to arau first and at the night we stayed at alor setar. the hotel was clean and i highly recommend you guys to try this hotel. the hotel is royale signature. it is near with shopping mall. luckily, during my visit bath and body works malaysia made a promotion. i gotvthe chance to buy it since the outlet is in the shopping mall.
