This is a decent budget hotel with clean room & bathroom to sleep after all day out visiting/shopping. Front desk is informative. If your back facing the hotel, on your left walk straight down on the main road for 10-12 mins until you see to landmark of Panda crawling backside on the top of IFS, Chengdu. Cross the road if go IFS; dont cross the road if you want to shop at Chunxi Street. Taiko Li is behind IFS or Silver Building. The streets are bustling with people, shops/merchandise, buildings with wonderful neon lightings that surely worth your social media posts. Opposite Panda landmark is the 24hrs shuttle bus stop that goes to Tianfu Airport, vice versa at RMB15 one way. Alternatively if you have heavy luggages you can take a 1 hr cab ride to Tianfu via highway around RMB210. Plan 3 hours ahead your flight if you plan to shop in duty free. There are convenient store on your left, boutique and fruit store on right. There is a local tour shop at the hotel lobby. Any day trip arrangements to Panda Research Center, Sanxingdui Museum, Leshan, Jiuzhaigao, Er Mei Shan, Pingle Ancient Town/Tiantai Mountain, etc are available, reasonably priced, accommodating and friendly to foreign tourists. Suggestion: Extra portable heater to be available as the heater can blow and reach bed area only ya; the corner room is big and spacious. Bathroom and sofa area were cold at night.

We have been staying here each time we transit from Chengdu to other sichuan scenic areas, all these while it has been pleasant and we like this hotel very much, however not this time. After we checked in yesterday we were informed that hotel will shut off power ENTIRELY from 12.30am to 5.30am for it’s maintenance/repair, means no heating aircon, no hot water , no light, lift not working basically no electricity for 5 hours. What frustrated me was hotel should notify us prior to booking or check in and offer refund as we are so tired from our back packing and all we want is to sleep in the warm comforting room. Instead we were notified after we have checked in. At least hotel should have offer some compensation like a free breakfast which I believe it won’t cost them much… disappointing big disappointment with the management. I must say that the staff are good with their service but not the management

The rooms are of ok quality. Worth the price paid Fully equipped, easy to travel, good service staff. May not be able to communicate well in English, but can use google translate for Chinese to read. Personally, my only complaint is the dust in the room. There may be some dust visible. If this part is improved it will be very good.

Staff at the desk speaks English, didn’t have any problems with communication. One thing to be aware of: since the hotel is very close to the airport, sounds of the airport can be heard in the late evening and night, so those who are noise sensitive, proceed booking with caution. Their breakfast is decent as well, with a lot to choose from Chinese to Western cuisine. Wasn’t crowded on a weekday at around 9:00AM. The room has all amenities: toothbrush, towels, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body soap. Definitely a place I’d recommend to stay at if you have a layover in Chengdu.

I enjoyed my stay and was very satisfied with the cleanliness, dorm, and room WiFi. However, the lobby WiFi signal was occasionally weak, and the power outlets were often frustrating to use as many of them were loose. You might need to use tape to secure your plug or try different outlets to find one that works properly Near to Chunxi Road metro and pedestrian street (:

We had the Panda Theme and The room is great ! The breakfast is at Top floor and the view is amazing. We use the laundry and it’s free & simple. The building is a bit wear & tears but overall we had a great stay in this Hotel. 2 part that could improve is 1. The water pressure is not very strong. 2 The blind is not 100 blackout.

The hotel is very clean, tidy, beautiful, and the environment is really good. The front desk staff are friendly and accommodating. They even helped me send a package.📦The room facilities are very good, there is also a gym, laundry room, breakfast is delicious, it is very convenient to go to Taikoo Li!!

Last stay before I went to Jiu Zhai Gou, I commented on carpet. By the day I went back to Cheng Du, they had been following up and doing the carpet shampoo. I am touched they did listened to the guest comment not just to buy over the review. As mentioned in last review, the location, hotel facilities and room amenities are good. Walk 3 mins will reach Tian Fu MRT. I'm a single traveller, has spent 3 weeks in China for now. I can say it suits my preference as a city star hotel. Keeps it up.

The hotel is new and clean. It was comfy to stay there. For me cleaning is very important and in this hotel cleaning services is every day. Very comfortable location and there are several shops and restaurants nearby. There is also night market with street food and fruits. I can recommend this hotel for stay in Chengdu.

Excellent stay, clean, big rooms. Front desk staff is so helpful they went all the way to retrieve our lost package. Front desk lady is very enthusiastic. Location is great as well as it is right at the entrance of Chunxi Road. Would definitely stay here again.

Staffs there were so nice, its suitable for 1-2days stay only, will not recommend if u r staying for more days. Room heater is not warm enough which resulted us from waking up in the middle of the night as its too cold. On our last day theres only cold water only not sure why, didnt bother to ask the staffs as theres no phone in the room to contact the counter. They provided counter number for us to use our phone to dial but we are foreigners so unable to do so.

Our stay at Rezen Retreat-Four Seasons, located just a 5-minute walk from the Jiuzhaigou Valley entrance, was a blend of positives and areas needing improvement. The Japanese-style room with floor heating initially felt elegant and cozy. However, the experience was overshadowed by some challenges. We noticed stains on the toilet bowl upon check-in, which indicated that cleaning could have been more thorough. Although housekeeping responded quickly, the cleaner only wiped the surface, leaving room for improvement in addressing the issue. Later in the evening, the heater malfunctioned as temperatures outside dropped to -2°C. While the room’s floor heating was a thoughtful addition, it didn’t compensate for the lack of overall heating. When we requested a room change, the hotel declined and instead sent a technician to address the issue. While the problem was resolved, it meant waiting in discomfort, which could have been avoided with better preparation and more focus on guest convenience. The hotel’s location and room design are definite strengths, but attention to maintenance and cleanliness would significantly enhance the guest experience. With some improvements, this hotel could truly match its potential. For now, guests may want to manage expectations when staying here.

Hotel location is very strategic; it is located in between jiuzhaigou sceneric area and Pengfeng Village. On its right side is Jiuzhaigou Sceneric Area entrance (max 10 mins walk) and on its left side Pengfeng Village (600 m away). For those who are unware, Pengfeng Village is the dropping point of Jiuyue bus service that drove passengers from Jiuzhaigou Railway station to Jiuzhaigou Sceneric Area. The room itself is spacious, warm, with good setting of hot-cold water. The hotel can also help to arrange back-forth transportation going to Huanglong Park & Songpan; and connects guests with private sharing mini van service for a more relax - comfortable trip back to the railway station. The cons for staying in the hotel , however, were : 1. My room wasn't cleaned properly for consecutively 2 nights out of 4 nights of staying. 2. Few front desk officers communication skills need an upgrade, esp when talking to foreign guests. A clearer & more transparent communication from front desk will be appreciated to avoid potential unpleasant miss-understandings. 3. One of the paid car drivers, which hotel connects me with for return trip from Huanglong Park, tries to violate time agreement I had with front desk hotel, which ending upsets me. Later though,, when I addressed my complaints directly to the hotel, they stepped up and quickly addressed the issues; both to room division & car service companies. And (together with the new driver), tried to make the rest of my stay & trip back to railway station as comfortable as possible. Just like what any IHSG group hotels would do. I have always prefered IHSG group hotel. And hence, though my issues were taken care of, I still think it was unfortunate to have gone through such experiences with a big brand. I also hope hotel can prevent the same issues from happening to other guests onwards. Because aside from those issues, the hotel is a good choice of staying.

It has a good variety of food for breakfast anyway. The floor heating in the room was the best part. Also the receptionist was very helpful when I need something, we were communicating by WeChat. Another good point is that the hotel has a restaurant, so you don’t need to go out to find food. I used the transfer service to go to the scenic spot, It was also good.

It’s only a 10-minute walk to the Jiuzhaigou National Park ticket checkpoint. You can even leave your luggage at the hotel, explore the park, and return to pick it up afterward. 4. The hotel is very new, modern, and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable stay. Overall, it’s a great choice for anyone visiting Jiuzhaigou. The reasonable price makes it an even better deal. Would definitely stay here again!

Room and toilet area were clean, heater in the room working really well while outside was minus degrees but inside so warm. Shower head water pressure was good enough, provided enough hot water. Surrounded with restaurant and near panda bus. Walk around 1km to Jiuzhaigou main entrance. Projector remote control not provided as hotel mentioned it was lost and the proceed to get the new one soon, I have to claim up to the machine to control it. Btw movie can watch it for free and wifi also working well. Please noted reception cannot speak English only Chinese. Highly recommend this place to all travelers 😊

Was disappointed that the room booking did not come with the free transport as mentioned in Trip.com, but hotel staff was able to provide contact to do carpooling, which is about the same price as taking a bus. Amenities are good and clean. Lots of restaurants and there are also some supermarket around the area. There is also a shop within the hotel and the things are very affordable and have long opening hours, so there is no need to go out if you need to buy stuff (I bought a jacket as I did not prepare thicker jacket)

Get off the bus at the parking lot from Chengdu, walk out onto the street and walk to the left, walk up a bit, about 70 meters, you will see a bridge, turn left, walk across the bridge, and walk for 200 meters, you will see the hotel on the right, a yellow building. The hotel has an awning in front. There is breakfast, the room is clean, the bed is soft, sleep very comfortably, the room is just not soundproof. Everything else is good. I highly recommend this hotel if anyone comes to sleep at Bipengou. In the morning, you can check out and leave your bags at the hotel. Then go to Bipengou conveniently. After sightseeing, come back to get your bags and take the bus back to Chengdu.

Great location, right in the thick of the bustling main street with other hotels and restaurants all around. A 10-15min stroll to Jiuzhaigou Park makes this a very convenient place to stay at as well. The room was spacious, although it would have benefitted from more clothes racks/hooks. Also, I felt the room was 'too smart' - everytime i went back into the room the curtains will automatically open which I personally found annoying but could not find a way to disable it. The heating and bidet in my room also wasn't working, but those were tolerable and we decided to just let it be. There was also a very intense hotpot smell wafting all through the air in the hotel which we did not like. Rooms were also not too clean with remnant hair and dirt stuck in crevices around the room. But otherwise, it was a decent place to stay at.

The hotel service is great, the room is clean and tidy, the facilities are complete, and welcome fruit is given. The breakfast is particularly rich. The hotel will send a car to take tourists to the entrance of Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area for free, which is very convenient and highly recommended!
