The hotel's location is great. I asked the front desk for a quieter room, and I stayed for several days. It's very convenient for a solo traveler. There's a bus stop right outside, and plenty of places to eat. The rooms are non-smoking, and it's just across the street from the 16 Pu area.

Staying at this hotel made my stay in Macau amazing. Guys at front desk are very friendly and helpful. Location of the hotel is very convenient, just one bus stop away from Senado Square, 5 minutes walk from bus stop to casino area and 3 minutes away from a bus stop to the airport, also many shops around the hotel. Room is very cosy and clean.

The bed in the room wasn't very big, but that's understandable. The location is excellent, very close to Grand Lisboa, MGM, and other attractions. It's also super convenient to take the shuttle bus from Galaxy or Grand Lisboa after clearing customs. The breakfast suited my taste perfectly. Unlike mainland China, they actually ask guests if they're willing to share a table. And if you do share, they'll only seat three people at a table, leaving one spot open. No one else will be seated there later to disturb your meal, which is fantastic!

Staying in the South Wing, the walk from the front desk to the room was long but acceptable. The room was decent, and the bedding was clean. From the window, I could see Studio City and the light rail in the distance. The next morning, I asked a staff member working in the hallway for drinking water and also mentioned that I didn't need the bed sheets changed, etc... The communication was harmonious. I imagine they were happy to see that I had sorted my empty water bottles and other trash. Express checkout was very efficient, thumbs up. The front desk staff were patient, friendly, and professional, also a big thumbs up!

This was my first time staying at The Venetian, and overall, it was a great experience. I called at around 10 PM to spontaneously order a small cake for a birthday, which added a nice touch of ceremony. A big thank you to the tall Indian gentleman who delivered the dessert – he kindly offered to open and pour the wine and wished us a happy birthday (I forgot to ask his name, so I can't thank him by name!). The two porters who helped with our luggage when we checked out also provided excellent service. Thank you, David and Raymond Lin!

Experience was unforgettable. Truly a 5 star hotel with an excellent service. I would want to visit Macau and book them again because they truly are world class. Jenny at the lobby - I can’t praise her enough. Like wow. She remembered me, like girrrl I am in the hospitality industry as well and I dont have that keen attention to details. So I arrived earlier right? Even before reaching to the counter, this girl, Jenny approached me. She asked, how can I call you? I said Maria. She said I can put my luggage at the concierge. I said okay, I will have my lunch at the 18th floor. When I came down the lobby again, I saw there were no seats available so I took the chance to withdraw some cash. I went back and looked for a toilet, Jenny saw me. She was like “Maria, may I ask for your full name?” And then, she was like Il escort you to the 17f so you can wait at the lounge. She remembered me. And upon check out, she greeted me, and remembered me. Like what?! I couldn’t believe it. Too bad I didnt get to take photos with her. She is so nice as well!

I came with my child and specifically booked the hotel's breakfast. We were given a high-floor room, and the customer service was very responsive to our requests, which we were very satisfied with. In the morning, the little baby could eat steamed corn, yam, sweet potato, and purple sweet potato, so even a sensitive baby would be fine. There were also boiled eggs and oatmeal. The adults were also very happy with their food. We could request a bed rail for the child, and they also provided separate shampoo, body wash, toothpaste, toothbrush, and cups, which was great! It's just a shame we wasted money on the water park tickets...

This time I chose to stay at the YOHO Golden Island Hotel in Macau, which offers great value for money 🏨. I stumbled upon it on Xiaohongshu and was instantly captivated by the room view. I booked the Pure Gold (Golden Island) Fireworks Seaview Room for around $7xx. The room was spacious and comfortable, with warm and elegant lighting, and a subtle, pleasant fragrance. Located in the heart of the Macau Peninsula, the hotel room offered panoramic views of the Macau Tower, Penha Hill Chapel 💒, and Nam Van Lake 🌃. Downstairs is the YOHO Golden Island Mall, with everything you need for dining, shopping, and entertainment – super convenient! 🤩 There are clothes, cosmetics, a cinema, supermarket, restaurants, and more. 🏨 Hotel lobby on the 2nd floor 🏋️ Gym room 24hrs (2/F) 🏊‍♀️ Three infinity pools where you can swim and enjoy beautiful views (2/F). One of them is a heated pool (so you can swim comfortably even in winter). 🌟🎶 You can even swim and listen to music underwater! 🏪 Convenience store 24hrs (2/F) 🍽️ Restaurants (2/F) After checking in and dropping off our luggage, my friend and I went downstairs to watch a movie. This cinema is Macau's first Bona International Cinema. My friend and I watched Zootopia 2 there – the environment and facilities were excellent 👍. They have VIP screening rooms with different themes, USB charging ports, and small lights. ☕️ After the movie, we went to the famous Blooom for a coffee. The outdoor red apple trees were adorned with Christmas ribbons and scarves, super cute! 🍣 Hokkaido Uoichi Rotating Sushi Fresh ingredients and a wide variety, also great value for money. 🎭 South Beauty Elegant and upscale dining environment with a variety of dishes, featuring Sichuan, Hunan, Shandong, and Cantonese cuisines. They also have Macau exclusive dishes! 🏨 YOHO Golden Island Hotel 🔍 No. 12, Lagoa Avenida, Nam Van District, Macau Peninsula 🚌 From Gongbei Port, you can take the hotel's free shuttle bus or Macau Public Bus 🚌 3/3X to ”Praca de Ferreira Amaral”.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The lobby was absolutely beautiful, and the staff were very professional and welcoming. The room exceeded my expectations — spacious, clean, and elegantly designed. The hotel offers several restaurants, and we tried one of them during our stay. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. You truly experience the luxury you’re looking for here. Another great feature was the shuttle service to various locations, which made getting around so convenient. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at the Hotel Royal Macau, located on the Macau Peninsula. I heard it was Macau's first five-star hotel. Its location is quite good, right next to the Tap Seac Multisport Pavilion and not too far from the Ruins of St. Paul's. Overall, the hotel is decent. While the rooms are a bit older, you can tell they've been renovated and updated in recent years. The room comfort was good, and the staff we encountered were quite diligent and responsible. My overall experience at this hotel was pretty good.

AAnonymous UserThe room had a musty smell, luckily I only had to put up with it for one night. Based on other reviews, I was expecting L'Occitane scents. The room did have plenty of small L'Occitane toiletries. There's a shuttle bus, but upon check-in, it wasn't clearly stated that the bus would go from the hotel to MGM, then to the pier, and finally to the airport, taking 40 minutes to reach the airport. The diagram also wasn't accurate. In the end, I had to pay for a taxi to get to the airport. I didn't get to use the hotel's bus during my trip; instead, I ended up using another hotel's free shuttle.

LLaofoyedebaoxianshengEven during off-peak season, there were still a lot of people. The airport shuttle is free and gets you to the hotel entrance in 10 minutes. The hotel is large and grand, connected to shopping and dining, so you could easily spend a whole day exploring. They offer a complimentary G Bear coffee every day. The Big Ben and Eiffel Tower replicas outside are quite photogenic, especially at night. We were assigned to the Bond building, which unfortunately had a smoky smell. The in-room amenities, Jo Malone, were decent, and the Duravit bathroom fixtures and bedding were quite comfortable. Breakfast is served on the first floor. Upon check-in, we received a 100-yuan voucher that could be used. Overall, the value for money is pretty good. Check-out is at 11 AM, not 12 PM, but the staff kindly gave us a souvenir.

AAnonymous UserVery convenient to take bus MT1 from airport to the hotel. As we rely on public transport most of the time, I found that it was an ease to move around Macau with my stay @this hotel as there are many buses go almost everywhere. We had 2 nights stay @Macao then hop over to Hong Kong by ferry. We took bus MT1 which stop at Taipa ferry terminal. Overall very satisfying stay n wish I could have stay longer in this hotel😂

GGuest UserWe booked a triple room for convenience, but it turned out to be exceptionally small. The window offered a view of tightly packed residential buildings, reminiscent of the old Kowloon Walled City, making it impossible to open the curtains. Despite being a triple room, only two tooth mugs were provided. When we asked the front desk, they directed us to housekeeping, who explained that while three sets of toiletries were given, their policy stipulated only two tooth mugs per room. Then, in the middle of the night, the air conditioning broke. A technician worked on it for nearly an hour, but by 1 AM, it still wasn't fixed, and we were simply given a fan. At checkout, there was no apology or explanation whatsoever regarding the AC problem. To add insult to injury, upon checking out, we realized one room key card was missing, and they immediately charged us 50 RMB, citing their policy. It really feels like these rules are only for guests!

GGexiaozhongliuThe room was spacious, new, and decorated in an ocean theme, exuding luxury yet elegance – perfect for photos, as shown. The bed, bathroom, and tea bar amenities were excellent, and I appreciated not needing an adapter for charging, with USB ports readily available. The minibar included a complimentary drink, a standard offering at Grand Lisboa Hotels, with no extra charge. The room layout was well-designed and practical; the luggage area had two stands, ideal for couples or families. We requested a smoking room, and it did have a smoke smell, but when we called room service, they immediately brought a high-powered air purifier. Keeping it on significantly alleviated most of the odor. The sky garden on the third floor was very picturesque. It was a shame we missed the afternoon 'Alice in Wonderland' themed performance and interactive session. Breakfast was crowded, and the Chinese options were decent, but the Western desserts and various teas were superb. Getting to the 'three people' area (referring to the main tourist area perhaps) was a bit far on foot, requiring a taxi. However, Wynn Palace was only a 10-minute walk away. Compared to that main area, this hotel has the New Yaohan department store and a large supermarket nearby. Stocking up on food, drinks, and daily necessities here was incomparably cheaper than in the main tourist spots, which is incredibly convenient for families with children and couples on a budget. Next to the supermarket, the Grand Lisboa Palace Food Court offers 'Wing Kee Beef Offal' and a delicious, generously portioned pork chop bun shop, along with Cantonese BBQ and Southeast Asian cuisine. It felt a bit cheaper than the Venetian Food Court, and it was spacious, less crowded, and peaceful. We booked one night because the room rate was cheap, and overall, it offered great value for money. It's perfect for combining with another hotel in Macau to enrich your travel experience and ease your wallet. Highly recommended! Almost forgot to mention, there's a local culture and history exhibition on the third floor called 'Lisboa: A Story of Macau,' which is definitely worth a visit! For most people, it's more worthwhile than the Picasso exhibition. 😎

GGuest User## Facilities: Quite Disappointing On the first day, the shower drain was blocked, causing water to overflow everywhere. It was quite late, so I ended up using a bathmat to soak it up myself. The next day, I specifically called the front desk, and they left a message when I returned saying it had been resolved. To my dismay, it was blocked again the second day, forcing me to rush out mid-shower to call them. Additionally, the room phone seemed to have a faulty connection; I kept trying to dial but couldn't get a call through. Even after requesting an air purifier, my throat still felt quite stuffy. ## Service: During check-in, I specifically requested not to be given a room at the end of the corridor. Well, they assigned me the very first room. Two staff members even came up to demonstrate how to operate the curtains... (a bit excessive!). However, the room service staff were actually very good; they were patient and responded promptly to all my requests. ## Location: The location is indeed quite out of the way. Taxis are scarce during peak hours, whereas it was much easier to hail a cab at The Londoner during the same times. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you're traveling with minors, as you'll have to walk a much longer route if you can't cut through the casino. I honestly don't know how people manage to explore all of Macau in a single day. For me, getting back from The Venetian felt incredibly far, and even getting to The Londoner was quite a trek. I was so exhausted I even considered taking a taxi just to get to Wynn. ## Cleanliness: The cleanliness was acceptable. I didn't experience any allergic reactions while sleeping, and overall, the room was quite clean. However, I suspect my throat discomfort was likely related to the carpet.

2203976****My main reason for visiting Macao this time was to watch the National Games table tennis matches at the Galaxy Arena. The W Hotel's location is perfect, right across from the venue. I could come back and rest between the afternoon and evening sessions and enjoy a wide variety of dining options on the hotel's restaurant street. I was so touched to find Xu Liu Shan again after so long – the familiar taste brought back great memories! After the evening table tennis matches, which ended quite late, walking back to the hotel was quick and easy. To the north of the hotel, you have The Parisian, Four Seasons, The Venetian, and more, all within walking distance, making shopping and sightseeing super convenient. The service was also delightful: the front desk staff were friendly, attentive, and even upgraded me to a suite; the concierge was proactive and enthusiastic. After checking in and dropping off my luggage in the morning, I returned to my room at 3 PM. Every interaction involved warm and thoughtful service, with almost no waiting time. My room had an expansive view, with a whole wall of windows facing the road, instantly dispelling any fatigue from watching the games. The room was spotless, spacious, clean, tidy, and comfortable. The bathroom had a dry/wet separation, and all the amenities were of high quality. Transportation: I didn't use the hotel's shuttle service this time because the Light Rail Transit (LRT) is incredibly convenient! From the W Hotel, it's just a few minutes' walk along the restaurant street to Studio City. From there, take an elevator, and a corridor leads directly to the LRT station. It's only five stops straight to the airport. This is my first time writing such a long review, but all in all, it was an exceptionally good value stay, and I highly recommend it to everyone!
