"Outstanding hotel, highly recommended. The rooms are large, comfortable and practical, with lovely views of the river. The bathrooms are especially nice, with large bathtubs. Breakfast is varied, with an excellent range of delicious food. The staff are extremely polite and helpful: they were able to check me in even at 3:00am after I arrived on the night train. The cleaners are quick, thorough and efficient, too. The staff provide thoughtful gifts like free oranges for Spring Festival. The hotel is well located for getting around Wuzhou, and all the taxi drivers know it. There seems to be lots to do within the hotel, too, including restaurants, a spa, a KTV lounge, a tea house and a swimming pool, so it would be excellent for large groups too."

"We had a great experience staying at Four Seasons. The actual name of the hotel is Four Seasons Fairyland Resort. Special thanks and shoutout to their staff who were brilliant and made our trip so special. They’re constantly available on WeChat and would fulfill all our requests in no time. They even helped us in booking tickets for Yangshuo Impression show. I highly recommend this hotel. Our room was inclusive of breakfast but we never woke up in time for breakfast because the bed was so comfortable to sleep on. I even left my cap in the didi taxi whilst returning to the hotel and the staff sat with me for 30 minutes and made sure the didi taxi driver brought my cap back to the hotel. Thank you for the wonderful stay and keep up the great work!"

"Location: The hotel's location is fantastic. It's about a 10-minute walk to Jingjiang Prince City, East and West Alleys, Sun and Moon Twin Pagodas, and Elephant Trunk Hill. Taxis to Reed Flute Cave and Guilin Sea of Clouds are also around 10 minutes. Excellent Service: - I needed to work, and they immediately brought a mobile desk. - I wanted to weigh myself, and there was a Xiaomi scale in the room. - I wanted to eat, and there's a 360-degree panoramic restaurant on the rooftop. The food was delicious and great value for money. We had a two-person meal with local specialty beer fish for less than 150 RMB. - The room also had detergent for underwear and hand soap. - The shampoo, body wash, and conditioner all had elegant scents of ebony agarwood and bergamot – just what I love! - When we checked out, they even gave us two complimentary bottles of water, saying water outside would be more expensive. The front desk staff was very empathetic. - I accidentally left shampoo behind, and they offered to mail it to me if needed. The room size was perfect with a floor-to-ceiling window. As soon as you enter the lobby, there's an elegant, refreshing scent, along with coffee and tea, and DIY sachet-making. Guilin often rains, and the large umbrellas at the front desk were very convenient. Overall, I'm very satisfied! 👍 Highly recommend!"

"This Yangshuo hotel is absolutely stunning! The floor-to-ceiling windows offer a direct view of the karst peaks; opening the window feels like stepping into a traditional Chinese landscape painting. In the mornings, the mountains are shrouded in mist – no filter needed for photos! The room was spotless, the bedding was soft, and there was plenty of hot water. The front desk staff were very attentive, proactively recommending touring routes. It's also very close to the Yulong River pier, making travel convenient. The environment is serene and quiet, far from the hustle and bustle of West Street. The value for money is incredible. This is my top choice for Yangshuo; I'll definitely stay here again next time!"

"Facilities: Undoubtedly the best in Liuzhou! Opened in 2025, so everything is brand new. They even have family rooms with slides, which my kids absolutely loved! Plus, there's a public kids' ball pit on the 2nd floor, providing another great spot for children to spend time. Hygiene: The rooms have wooden floors instead of carpets, so there's no unpleasant smell when you enter, unlike other hotels. Thumbs up!👍 Ambiance: The lobby is on the 13th floor, and you get amazing river and bridge views while enjoying afternoon tea and breakfast. The experience was truly wonderful. Service: The front desk staff were warm and courteous. Our two rooms came with a complimentary 3-hour electric scooter rental, which was incredibly convenient for exploring the local nightlife! Location: The hotel is situated in Wuxing Street, the most vibrant area, and you can walk there in just 2 minutes. Super convenient! The only minor drawback is that the water quality in the infinity pool could use more filtration and disinfection."

"Upgraded to a balcony room for one night, directly facing the beautiful Li River and Fubo Hill. The evening breeze was so pleasant. The double sinks, toilet, and shower room were all separate, which was very convenient. Later, we moved to a 180-degree river view room, where I could just relax on the tatami mat and gaze at the river – truly a stolen moment of leisure. The oversized bathtub was perfect for a relaxing soak and stress relief. The mini-bar was free, and the complimentary fruit at night was delicious. The butler and front desk staff were all so kind, polite, and provided excellent service, always ready to help. They proactively asked daily if we needed anything, if the room temperature was comfortable, or if we wanted to choose different pillows. We slept wonderfully every night. The hotel breakfast offered a great variety, including two types of rice noodles (dry and soup). There were also two kinds of herbal teas daily, like luo han guo and goji berry. We had dinner à la carte, and the food was delicious, the ambiance beautiful, making it perfect for photos. The hotel package included a photoshoot with a good selection of outfits. The photographer was patient and meticulous, and selecting the photos was a smooth process. My mom absolutely loved the hotel's cultural handicraft experience; she made three phone charms and really enjoyed it. I also tried the hotel spa. The masseuse was quiet throughout but worked hard, and her technique was very good. The most memorable part of our Guilin trip was our stay at Lijiang Courtyard. We felt completely at home. We'll definitely book here again next time!"

"The hotel is located right by Rong Lake, near the Two Rivers and Four Lakes scenic area, which is very quiet. In the mornings, you can hear birds chirping from the park. It's a 15-minute walk to the free Elephant Trunk Hill scenic area, and a 7-minute walk to see the Sun and Moon Pagodas at night, where you can also take a cruise. This location pretty much covers all the attractions in Guilin city. All the hotel staff were lovely, and I especially want to thank a female staff member or supervisor at the front desk – I'm not entirely sure which she was. It had been raining for days, and after checking out, we canceled our train to Yangshuo, fearing flooding and that we wouldn't be able to enjoy ourselves there. She told us that since we had traveled so far, we should still go and see it, as the scenery is beautiful and it doesn't rain constantly; we wouldn't know until we got there. So, we re-bought our tickets and went. She even helped us make a waterproof cover for our child's camera, which was incredibly thoughtful. When we got there, we found it hadn't rained for the past two days, and we were able to enjoy bamboo rafting and everything. The scenery truly was breathtaking, and it was definitely worth the trip! Coming all the way from Beijing, it certainly made our long journey worthwhile. We came here in a hurry this time and didn't plan anything, relying entirely on the information and advice from the front desk concierge. Their explanations made everything so much clearer. We'll definitely choose this place again for our next trip."

"As a huge hotel enthusiast who has stayed at numerous high-end hotels both domestically and internationally, this stay at Song Hotel was once again a pleasant surprise, exceeding my expectations. This surprise wasn't sudden; it accumulated little by little throughout the stay, transforming into a constant sense of awe and wonder. Initially, the hotel's color scheme seemed a bit odd, but I later learned it was the color of the sunset glow on the old buildings. This nostalgic and genuine warmth permeated every aspect of the hotel's service. Because the hotel was still in its soft opening phase, I was upgraded to a suite! I was overjoyed. 🛏️ Suite Experience Over 100 square meters. The suite included an indoor soaking tub and swimming pool. The color scheme was simple and elegant—a combination of off-white, light brown, and dark wood tones, instantly creating a relaxing atmosphere. The view from the window overlooked the Silver Beach! The room amenities were top-of-the-line, from bedding to toiletries, with attention to detail everywhere. 🍽️ Dining Stunning Completely unlike anything I'd expected from a third-tier city. The selection of breakfast items was simply unbelievable for a city like this. Makana Bakery, located in the bakery, offers locally inspired bread innovations—Guangxi Liubao Tea Croissant, Pandan Coconut Croissant, Lychee Sea Salt Croissant—bringing local flavors and French baking techniques together beautifully, rivaling boutique bakeries in first-tier cities. I tried the coffee shop, Chinese restaurant, and ice cream shop one by one, and each exceeded my expectations. The hotel dedicated significant space to local cultural exhibitions. As a keen citywalker, I was exhausted from exploring Beihai's old streets and various seaside areas, but surprisingly, the most insightful experience of the city came from the hotel's exhibition hall 🤣 The curation was excellent. The curatorial text and style were tasteful. It wasn't just a perfunctory display of folk customs, but a genuine exploration of the city's historical context and way of life—from maritime culture to the memories of the Tanka people, from the old street fabric to the evolution of contemporary Beihai. It was also a photogenic spot. Another feature of the hotel is the inclusion of a collection space showcasing several high-quality niche brands. From luxury lifestyle products to carefully selected souvenirs, everything was practical, stylish, and imbued with Beihai's essence. These brands offer excellent taste and value for money. Although I also visited other places and tried several hotels, I felt that this hotel was enough for my trip to Beihai. I could relax, enjoy the sea view, shop, and eat to my heart's content. Finally, let me talk about the service. It wasn't the professional hotel service I'd expected. Having stayed in top-tier hotels, I understand the natural and welcoming atmosphere of a butler. But perhaps because it had just opened, many people's eyes held a touch of naivety and unfamiliarity. They were cautious yet attentive, which was especially endearing. That simple, unfamiliar sincerity was touching. You could see their dedication. As a Ctrip Black Diamond member, I've stayed in countless great hotels. This is the first time I've written such a thoughtful review. Because this place is more than just a hotel; it allowed me to rediscover Beihai. It also solved the pain points of traveling in a third- or fourth-tier city regarding dining, service, and the aesthetics and practicality of souvenirs (and the value for money was excellent). This wasn't just a place to stay; it was a key to understanding Beihai and a haven for my short stay."

"Traveling around the world experiencing many luxury hotels. I can say for sure this hotel was the best out of all. The staff are very polite and thoughtful. The cleanliness was amazing. The scenery is beyond imagination. From inside the hotel you have access to so many different farms and Natural landscape areas. The management of the hotel was very considerate. We got stuck far away the hotel due to heavy rainfall and they quickly send us the hotel staff to pick us up for free. Amazing all i can say. They also give free photography at scenic areas around the hotel. The photographer was very nice young lady which will never forget “Her name Cici”. Kayson, Icey, Meyling, amazing staffs of the hotel. I feel like i have found great friends while staying at this comfortable hotel. I will return for sure. They also gave us a gift on check out. 100% recommend this hotel for family and friends. I am specially grateful for the extra care we received from the manager (yè zi (Leaf)), her professional behavior made everything so comfortable and pleasant."

"The hotel is just across the road from Ailian Lake Park. The cherry blossoms and water lilies in the park are currently in full bloom, making for a nice view. However, breakfast was just average. At night, the surrounding area was incredibly noisy with loud music that went on until very late."
