The hotel is very near to the Furong waterfall (a bit too near for our comfort as the main tourist walking path is just right below our room). If the windows are not closed properly, you would probably hear the guides with their speakers on while leading the tourists along the walking path or the loud pub singers' voice blasting across the river bank in the evening. The hotel staff are friendly and the hotel does provide free pickup services to and fro from the train station. Do contact them in advance to make arrangements. The breakfast is just a simple bowl of local style noodles but do also try out the other local snacks which the breakfast area offers (Note that you'll need to pay for those).

I booked a riverside inn during the National Day. It is a warm reminder that it is rare a few times a year, so you can go and see more! Due to our personal reasons, the delivery time has changed again and again, Xiao Wang also patiently helped to coordinate! This hotel is in the middle of the city and has great view from room (hotel is above waterfall, so no waterfall view). It has a great room, service with an affordable price. Owner contacts us before arrival date for an appointment to pick up at train station. They help us buy ticket to enter the city and also call a taxi for us on checkout date.

Hotel very well located close to tourist places and restaurants. The host picked us up at the entrance to the city and helped us buy tickets. However, no one at reception which is annoying given that the USB ports in our room did not work. Spacious and clean room but missing some amenities such as slippers for example. I recommend this hotel to spend the night in Furongzhen.

His house has five buildings, distributed in different locations in the ancient town. It seems that only Huiran Building has a lobby, and it is also the most cost-effective among the five buildings. It is right in the center of the ancient town. The ancient town is not big, so you can just go shopping around it. Butler Xiaonan recommended going to his Waterfall Building in the evening to check in. Because he needed tickets, he didn’t go in. This time he decided not to enter the toll area. The trip should be like a trip.

The hotel was in a great location. You can see the entire waterfall and city from your room. There were only two main things that concerned us. The first was the smell. The hotel is located on top of a restaurant; therefore, you would often smell food in the room and in the halls. We did not quite enjoy the smell. The second is the cleanliness. Brooms and trash bags were left in the hallway as the cleaner cleaned the hotel. It felt quite unclean. The view on the side of the room/ hotel was also all trash. In the pictures, it looked like mountains or trees. For foreigners, please check whether your room had sitting or squatting toilets. We had squatting toilets, but the photos did not show it.
