Great location, more than amazing staff and really nice experience overall. The map they give you is superb, and breakfast is also very good. My only con was the fact our room had stairs which I did not realise from the photos, but besides this - The Orchid really made our stay in Beijing feel super special. Thank you!

Had a great stay at this place ! Location of this place is literally a few minutes walk away from a train station. Bicycle/Walking distance away from a few key tourist spots (王府井街… 故宫 etc.) ! Rooms were super clean and comfortable (literally as what the pictures shows). Hosts were extremely welcoming and attentive. They even surprised us with bedtime snacks !!! Many food options around the area too !! Although there are many comments about the soundproofing of this place, but it SHOULD NOT stop u from booking your stay. If i ever return to beijing again, would definitely rebook this place ! Hehe 🤍

Very convenient location and friendly staff. English speaking staff member so check in and asking questions was easy when she was there. The heater worked and staff helped when we were confused. Free water and coffee available. Small convenience store nearby open late and lots of food nearby. Nothing fancy but well kept and friendly.

Baqi Inn is located at the innermost of Gubei Water Town, very close to Yuanyang Lake Reservoir and Simatai Great Wall, and the Great Wall can be clearly seen from the courtyard. The rooms are fully equipped, and the most attractive thing is that each room has its own outdoor private hot spring pool. When you are tired, you can enjoy it to your heart's content, which is very convenient. You can make an appointment for your favorite breakfast, which has a rich variety. The service is warm, thoughtful and enthusiastic. Gubei Water Town ticket discounts, you can enter and exit at will by face recognition. Very satisfied, I will continue to stay next time I come to the water town.

Duan’s Quadrangle Inn is perfectly located. Within a stone’s throw away, not only is there the ticket office for boat tours and the Simatai Great Wall, you’ll find the entrance to Simatai is right in front of you; the boat tour starts from the dock about 5 metres from the office. You must try Duan’s hot springs (indoor and outdoor) and sauna for a relaxing experience. They provide towels and flippers/sliders, and lockers in the changing room. The morning breakfast buffet was a convenient way to start our day! There were continental as well as Chinese food and drinks. As the restaurant is located on the first floor, we sat in the terrace, overlooking the lake. The staff are polite and helpful. They have a mini shop outside the hot springs section if you forget to bring your waterproof phone holder. Overall, we’ve had a lovely time staying at Duan’s and we would not hesitate to stay again! Very close to the scenic spot; closest to the parking lot, very convenient; the room is large, clean, unique, and the children are very happy; it is a quiet night; the breakfast is large; the room service is very warm and kind. Next time I come, I'll stay in the barracks. I highly recommend everyone to stay here.

The hotel facilities are basically complete, the natural environment is good, the door is free parking, the breakfast is full of childhood memories in the suburbs of Beijing, and the barbecue and hot pot are delicious. The service is a big brother and two big sisters are very dedicated, especially the boss is very good, the layout is also very big, according to the current words, it is ”can be”, the specific situation is different, everyone has different experiences, and the feeling is definitely different. Now there is basically no boss who does business like this. You can feel it yourself, personally highly recommend, I must be a repeat customer

The inn is near the entrance of the scenic area, a few hundred meters away from the No. 1 parking lot and two or three hundred meters away from the entrance of the scenic area. In fact, it feels more convenient to live here than to live in the inn inside. Of course, we are the type who go back after dark and never go out at night. If you like night tours, it may be better to stay inside. The inn is quite large, but the rooms are separated by partitions, and the sound insulation is almost non-existent. Fortunately, there was no noise around that night. Yuda Hot Spring was closed for maintenance. We went to the city, which is not too big. You can also go to Shuizhen Hotel for swimming.

The boss is very welcoming, the courtyard has beautiful flowers and trees, and the environment is very good. It is close to Badaling High-speed Railway Station and the entrance to the Great Wall. It would be even better if the indoor sanitary facilities were improved.

I got a very good deal for this room..as I had hard 7 nights in Mongolia, I think I deserved a stay in this hotel. It is locates inside strategic place of the watertown. One thing is I got the highest floor and I could not carry my luggage all the way up, but the receptionist is good and let me put my luggage there and I just took all my necessary items up.. And I also had VERY good sauna and hot spring which relieved all my tiredness. And I'm very surprised with the breakfast..we got to pick our alacarte one night before and also buffet. I really like the tomato egg noodles and that is so far the best I ate in Beijing. I ate a lot because I need to climb great wall after the breakfast
