Peace River Inns

Very nice hotel, especially for a non chain. The room was VERY clean. Had a two Queen kitchen room, which was pretty crowded to fit everything in, but still enough space. Keurig coffee maker, stove/oven, toaster, kettle and plenty of utensils. The water pressure is a little weak, but the tub was nice and deep and very clean. The staff are all friendly and polite! Hotel is a little small and a touch dated, but appears a lot has been recently updated, even from looking at photos. The breakfast is great, it’s the same every day, but there’s a large selection: bacon, scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage, bread, bagels, muffins, yogurt, waffles and juice. Overall, a great hotel, especially for extended stays!

Seems pricey but not if you're familiar with northern Canada rates. Very clean, microwave, fridge in room. Bathrooms spacious and clean. Beds comfy - lots of pillows. Every bit as comfortable as the luxury hotel we stayed in the night before* (and that room* had no microwave and the fridge was the size of a carry on suitcase).
