Stay in a British Castle and See the Rapeseed Flowers!

Stay in a British Castle and See the Rapeseed Flowers!

This estate is so much fun. When the morning mist still carries the fragrance of tea in Jiangling, a Victorian red-brick castle awakens from the golden waves of flowers. The March wind sweeps past the iron gate ring, and the tinkling sound startles the bees collecting nectar. In Wuyuan, the old times of England and the spring of China are dancing a waltz in the sea of rapeseed flowers. Where to find it It's just a 20-minute drive from Wuyuan High-Speed Rail Station! Navigate to 'Victoria Manor,' and keep an eye on the road as you get close—a large red-brick castle suddenly appears in the middle of a vast field of golden rapeseed flowers, with colorful flower wreaths hanging at the entrance. It's definitely eye-catching! What the rooms look like There are a total of 31 rooms, a mix of vintage British style and Huizhou elements! Highly recommend Room 308, where the balcony faces the entire rapeseed terrace. In the morning, you can see old farmers driving water buffalo past the castle. It's like traveling through time! The room features a dark green sofa and a four-poster bed, perfect for photos. The smart toilet and Aesop bath products add a touch of luxury. Must-do activities 1. Take photos on the spiral staircase: The walls are adorned with old nautical maps. Walk down in a long dress, and your social media likes will skyrocket. 2. Roast sweet potatoes in the real fireplace: In winter, gather around the fireplace with honey bayberry wine and listen to the owner tell how the red bricks were transported from England. 3. Play with the giant rubber duck in the pool: In summer, bring your kids for a water fight. Inflatable ducks are provided for free, but remember to apply sunscreen. 4. Tea picking and frying experience: The butler will take you to the tea garden on the back hill, where you can pick fresh buds and fry them into tea leaves to take home. What to eat Breakfast features Wuyuan-style steamed cakes with English tea, a perfect blend! Afternoon tea is a must-try: Zhengshan Xiaozhong tea brewed in a blue and white porcelain teapot, served with scones made with local rapeseed honey. For dinner, you can order local chicken soup, which is golden in color! Money-saving package 899 yuan for 1 night in a scenic room, including: ✔ Double breakfast + afternoon tea ✔ Free bicycle (the butler will recommend cycling routes) ✔ DIY handmade round fan experience ✔ Exclusive rapeseed flower photo map (avoid the crowds for the best photo spots)

Shaanxi Travel | Hanzhong Rapeseed Flower Viewing Guide in Yanchang Town

Shaanxi Travel | Hanzhong Rapeseed Flower Viewing Guide in Yanchang Town

"The plain is yellow with rapeseed flowers, and the spring beauty intoxicates the Ba Mountains," the rapeseed flowers of Zhenba can be described as "one town connected to another," covering almost every corner of the county. In addition to the previously mentioned Yudu Town, the neighboring Yanchang Town is also suitable for viewing rapeseed flowers~ 📍Location: Yanchang Town, Zhenba County, Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province 🎫Ticket: Free 🌟Vast Flower Fields: If Yudu Town is suitable for climbing high and looking far to appreciate the pastoral landscape, then the rapeseed flowers of Yanchang Town are suitable for close-up viewing. Because there are not many residential buildings in the flower sea, but densely packed rapeseed flowers form continuous patches. Walking along, there is always a touch of golden yellow accompanying you, as if you have entered a grand feast of spring 🌟Grain and Oil Base: Although the rapeseed flowers of Yanchang are connected in patches, there are also ridges and roads in the flower sea for photo opportunities, giving the same feeling of being in the midst of the flowers. Do not enter or trample on the rapeseed flowers at will, as this place is not only for viewing but also a grain production base! 🌟Contrast of Red and Yellow: If there is anything special about the rapeseed flowers of Yanchang Town, it is that many places also grow peach blossoms or crabapple flowers. The pink and golden colors clash vividly, together outlining this touch of spring beauty~

When Ancient Huizhou Villages Meet Golden Oceans—

When Ancient Huizhou Villages Meet Golden Oceans—

🌼 When Ancient Huizhou Villages Meet Golden Oceans 🌼 ——Embark on a Millennial Pastoral Rendezvous 🌟 Bloom Report | Peak Season is Now Wuyuan in April is performing the most magnificent movement of the earth! The thousands of acres of terraced fields in Jiangling have been dyed golden, with layers of golden ladders reaching straight into the clouds. The second phase of high-altitude terraced fields in Huangling are relaying the bloom, and late-maturing varieties will set the spring color until mid-April. Standing on the viewing platform and looking far away, the white-walled and black-tiled Huizhou-style houses are embedded in the sea of flowers, and the cooking smoke rises, as if breaking into a landscape painting. 🏞️ Must-Visit Secret Spots | Every Frame is a Wallpaper 1. Jiangling Terraces: One of the four largest rapeseed flower seas in China, the nearly 1,000-meter drop of the terraces intertwines with the sea of clouds. In the morning mist, the flower waves pour down like a galaxy. 2. Huangling Ancient Village: A thousand-year-old village hanging on the cliffs, overlooking the terraced flower sea from the high-altitude plank road, and crossing the flower fields by zipline to feel the shock of "people traveling in a painting." 3. Moon Bay: A classic epitome of ink-wash Wuyuan, a bend of blue water reflects yellow flowers and green trees. Support a bamboo raft to travel through it, and you can take a poetic blockbuster with a casual shot. 4. Qingyuan Ancient Village: A Shangri-La in the deep mountains, peach blossoms, pear blossoms and rapeseed flowers dance together, and the cooking smoke of the ancient village complements the sea of flowers. 🚗 Travel Guide | Departing from Xuancheng - Self-driving: The whole journey is about 276 kilometers, and it takes 3.5 hours to reach directly. Take the Shanghai-Chongqing Expressway to the Hangzhou-Ruili Expressway, exit at Xitou, and go directly to Jiangling Scenic Area. - High-speed train: Xuancheng Station → Wuyuan Station (about 2 hours). After leaving the station, you can take the "Flower Appreciation Special Train" directly to Huangling and Jiangling, and cross the sea of flowers in 35 minutes. - Accommodation recommendation: The B&Bs in Huangling Scenic Area offer a view of the sea of flowers from the window, the B&Bs in Jiangling Mountain Village offer a pastoral experience, and the hotels in the county town are convenient and cost-effective.

Stamped by *National Geographic* as having China's most beautiful springtime, what's it really like?

Stamped by *National Geographic* as having China's most beautiful springtime, what's it really like?

Only after seeing spring in Wuyuan can you understand the pinnacle of Chinese aesthetics. In the coming months, Wuyuan will transform into the imagery of ancient Huizhou poetry, with white walls and black tiles, small bridges and flowing water, and rapeseed flower fields covering the mountains, just like a paradise. As a seasoned traveler who has chased Wuyuan's spring seven times, I've compiled a super-detailed flower viewing guide, even lazy people can easily follow it! Things to Know Before You Go Public Transportation High-speed rail is the most convenient option, taking you directly to Wuyuan Station. However, note that public transportation between villages in Wuyuan is not very convenient. If you want to travel freely between scenic spots, it is recommended to drive yourself or hire a car. Rapeseed Blossom Season - Plains: Late February - End of March - Huangling and Jiangling Terraces: Mid-March - Early April - Huangling Second Terraces: Late March - Mid-April Classic 2-Day, 1-Night Itinerary Day 1: Wuyuan Station➡️Likeng➡️Huangling First stop is Likeng, to experience the misty Jiangnan charm of "small bridges, flowing water, and houses." Numerous ancient bridges cross the narrow river, and red lanterns hang in front of every house, as if you've traveled back in time to old Huizhou. In the evening, head to Huangling, a place listed in *National Geographic* as one of the most beautiful ancient villages. The rapeseed flowers bloom freely on the terraces, complementing the ancient village's magnolias, pear blossoms, and mountain cherry blossoms, creating a breathtakingly beautiful scene. Stay overnight in Huangling and fall asleep to the fragrance of flowers. Day 2: Huangling➡️Shangtan Village➡️Jiangling➡️Shibao➡️Chaguan Village➡️Hongguan Village➡️Fengshan Village Start the second day from Huangling and go to Shangtan Village, the filming location of *I Am Not Madame Bovary*, to experience the tranquility of an untouched village. The large camphor tree with its lush branches and leaves at the entrance of the village, and the bamboo raft experience, are full of local life. Then head to Jiangling, the representative of Wuyuan's rapeseed flowers. Thousands of acres of terraced flower fields are dotted with Hui-style villages. The view from the mountain is more spectacular than any painting. Next, check out Shibao, Chaguan Village, Hongguan Village, and Fengshan Village in turn. Shibao is like a real-life version of *The Peach Blossom Spring*, requiring you to pass through large rapeseed flower fields to reach it. Chaguan Village is an ancient village with over a thousand years of history. The arch bridge from the Southern Song Dynasty and the old man leading a cow create a pastoral scene. In Hongguan Village, peach blossoms and rapeseed flowers complement each other, and the Hui-style buildings are reflected in the water, full of poetic charm. Fengshan Village has riverbanks full of rapeseed flowers and the centuries-old Longtian Pagoda, simple and tranquil. This spring, come to Wuyuan for a date with spring!

Shop for local specialties like Wuyuan green tea and Longwei inkstone before departing. 📝 Practical Tips 🎫 Tickets: Most attractions require tickets. Book in advance online for discounts and to avoid queues. 🕙 Opening Hours: Check official websites or call ahead as times vary by location. 📸 Photography: Wear bright colors like red or yellow in rapeseed fields for contrast; traditional clothing like hanfu or qipao in ancient villages for classic shots. 🍱 Food Recommendations 1. Steam pot chicken: Tender chicken in flavorful broth, steam-cooked to preserve nutrients. 2. Hutoufu: Smooth tofu mixed with meat and mushrooms in rice paste, aromatic and melting. 3. Zigao: Glutinous rice cake with pork and dates, steamy and sweet with a hint of meat flavor. 4. Bitter acorn tofu: Slightly bitter but smooth, known for detoxifying properties. 💡 Tips 1. Pack a warm jacket 🧥 for big temperature differences in April. 2. Watch belongings and take care of elderly and children during peak season. 3. Local food tends to be salty - ask for adjustments if needed. Everyone, April in Wuyuan is full of surprises. Pack your bags and go 💕 - you'll fall in love with this charming place!

Wuyuan Rapeseed Flower Live Report|Sisters who want to go, please wait another week

Wuyuan Rapeseed Flower Live Report|Sisters who want to go, please wait another week

Just came back from Wuyuan, I can only say that it was too early😂😂 It's colder this year, and the rapeseed flowers in many places are blooming later. Basically, only 30-40% of the rapeseed flowers have bloomed in the plains. Although it's a pity that I didn't see the rapeseed flowers all over the mountains and plains, I was still amazed by the beauty of spring in Wuyuan. I stayed up late to put together this flower viewing guide. All photos were taken on March 8-9. It is estimated that it will be the best viewing period in another week‼️ For those who plan to go to Wuyuan to enjoy rapeseed flowers, Quickly save this~ 【Route Guide】 I explored the north line of Wuyuan. It's relatively less crowded compared to Huangling and Jiangling. If you also plan to come to Wuyuan during the peak flowering season and don't want to be surrounded by crowds, I recommend choosing this self-driving route. Route: Zhangcun 👉 Fengshan Village 👉 Shibao 👉 Chaguan Village 👉 Hongguan Village 👉 Shangtan Village 【Flowering Status】 ✔️Zhangcun (P2-3) 🌼Blooming status: 10% Only a few flowers have bloomed in the village, and the viewing quality is not high, but the Bench Bridge in the early morning is beautiful. ✔️Fengshan Village (P4-7) 🌼Blooming status: 30% The hometown of Jin Yong, there is a Longtian Pagoda built in the Ming Dynasty. Only the riverside and a small flower field under the tower are in bloom. ✔️Shibao (P1, 8) 🌼Blooming status: 50% A large area of rapeseed flowers in the village is basically in bloom. ✔️Chaguan Village (P9-11) 🌼Blooming status: 10% The rapeseed flowers in the village have basically not started to turn yellow😂 But when you walk across the mottled century-old Jijiu Bridge, you can still feel the simple historical atmosphere, which is super artistic. ✔️Hongguan Village (P12-15) 🌼Blooming status: 20% The spring landscape composed of ancient trees, small bridges, courtyards, and flower fields. I love the ancient camphor trees in the village. Standing under the trees, you can feel the vitality. ✔️Shangtan Village (P16-18) 🌼Blooming status: 50% The filming location of the movie "I Am Not Madame Bovary," the rapeseed flowers by the river are basically in bloom. There is a thousand-year-old camphor tree at the entrance of the village, with lush branches and leaves, full of vitality.
