Chengdu's wine culture has a long history, and it has been a place with a developed wine industry since ancient times. From "Wenjun served wine and Xiangru washed utensils" in the Han Dynasty to the numerous wine shops in the Tang and Song Dynasties, Chengdu's wine culture has experienced thousands of years of precipitation and development, forming a unique style. Here, tourists can visit winemaking workshops with a long history, such as Shuijingfang, which has a 600-year history of winemaking, and experience the exquisiteness and inheritance of traditional winemaking skills. In addition to visiting winemaking workshops, you can also participate in the wine and tourism integration route of "Drink a pot of wine in spring, travel through more than 600 years from ancient times to the present", starting from the Shuijingfang Museum, crossing the long river of history, and feeling the unique charm of Bashu culture.

Chengdu's 798 East Suburb Memory

Chengdu's 798 East Suburb Memory

I don't recommend making a special trip to Chengdu! Detailed guide to East Suburb Memory||East Suburb Memory is an international fashion industry park that has been redeveloped from the former site of the state-owned Hongguang Electron Tube Factory, with a focus on 'fashion design and music art as the twin pillars of development' East Suburb Memory is known as 'China's West End of London' and is a national 4A-level tourist attraction 🗺️Location: East Suburb Memory (northeast corner), No. 4 Construction South Branch Road, Chenghua District, Chengdu City 🅿️Self-driving parking: You can navigate to the underground parking lot of East Suburb Memory's east gate 🚈Public transportation: 8 minutes walk from Exit B1 of East Suburb Memory Station on Metro Line 8 Opening hours: All day Tickets: Free, it is recommended not to go on weekends, it's really crowded 👔Dress: Retro, workwear, street, artistic, cool Internet celebrity check-in (📷It's advised to go early for check-in photos, otherwise it's very crowded): The red brick wall with the big 'Chengdu' characters at the North Second Gate Train head square, 'East Suburb Memory' platform The big love heart and next to the traffic lights there's also a big dog (I didn't go because I'm afraid of dogs) Near the south gate, take industrial style photos near the chimney pipes The large lawn at the West Gate camping square There are many coffee shops☕️, bars, cultural and creative shops, trendy brand shops, vintage clothing shops, restaurants, theaters🎦, and art galleries in the park Suggestions + Personal feelings: If you just want to take photos and check in, it's better to go early, otherwise, you'll have to queue My personal feeling is that there's not much to play with, the commercial atmosphere is strong, and once you've walked down the main street, there's not much left. If it's on the way, you can visit cultural and creative shops, trendy brand shops, vintage clothing shops, etc. to feel the vibe of trendy people, but I don't recommend making a special trip

Chengdu Travel Guide | Three Days and Two Nights Don't Miss Chengdu's Cuisine

Chengdu Travel Guide | Three Days and Two Nights Don't Miss Chengdu's Cuisine

👣The Land of Abundance, Chengdu, with its food bonus, is unforgettable. Stroll through the Wide and Narrow Alleys during the day to experience the rich tea culture of Chengdu, and at night, take a look at Jiuyan Bridge, or sit at the entrance of a small tavern to listen to the sounds of Chengdu 👣Du Fu Thatched Cottage fulfills a dream of pastoral retreat, with its classical Chinese garden of thatched cottages and ponds. The retreat buff is stacked high, envying Du Fu's life 👣Immerse yourself in local life, wander around Baihuatan Park, eat local skewers, hotpot, and other delicacies. At night, Jinli Ancient Street brings the atmosphere of Chengdu to its peak, while Chunxi Road contrasts with Jinli, clearly delineating the past from the present 📍Detailed Address | Chengdu City, Sichuan Province 🕙Business Hours | Open 24 hours ⏳Recommended Play Time | Suggest 3 days and 2 nights 💰Average Spending | About 1000 RMB per person 🗓Itinerary | ✅Chengdu - Wide and Narrow Alleys - Chengdu Hotpot - Chunxi Road - Tavern ✅Du Fu Thatched Cottage - Baihuatan Park - Chengdu Skewers - Jinli - Jiuyan Bridge 👉The Wide and Narrow Alleys, as the name suggests, consist of parallel Wide Alley, Narrow Alley, and Well Alley. This is an ancient Qing Dynasty street left in Chengdu, with more than 70 courtyards and over 300 rooms, filled with the scent of hotpot and the aroma of tea in the air 👉Du Fu lived in the Thatched Cottage for four years, with babbling streams, thatched cottages sheltering from wind and rain, red walls and bamboo groves, both simple and elegant as well as quiet and serene. Later, the Thatched Cottage was repeatedly restored and abandoned, and the 'Thousand Ridges Thatched Cottage' stele pavilion witnessed Du Fu's life in Chengdu 👉Jinli Ancient Street is a must-visit in Chengdu, with its Three Kingdoms culture and Sichuan folk culture. The ancient opera stage, Nine-Rank Snack Street, and folk memory wall here leave a deep impression, immersing visitors in the life of Chengdu 👉Jiuyan Bridge is one of the must-visit spots for Chengdu's night view, with its stone railings and large arched stone bridge surface. The bridge has nine holes, hence the name Jiuyan Bridge. It is also a 'bar street' popular among young people, where you can enjoy the night view and listen to music 👉In the past, Zhao Lei's song 'Chengdu' became popular throughout the country. Walking through the streets of Chengdu, to the end of Yulin Road, sitting at the entrance of a small tavern. Only by coming to the tavern in person do you realize that in Chengdu there is only Yulin South Road and Yulin North Road, no Yulin Road. The tavern is small, crowded, and indeed, you can only sit at the entrance. I came to Chengdu because of 'Chengdu', what brought you here?

No need to go to Xichang and Kunming! Chengdu also has its own Jacaranda Avenue

No need to go to Xichang and Kunming! Chengdu also has its own Jacaranda Avenue

Xichang and Kunming's jacarandas are famous far and wide. Every year from April to May, Xichang's Aerospace North Road and Kunming's Drill Field Middle Road attract many visitors. If you don't have time to go to Kunming and Xichang to see the jacarandas, don't feel regretful, because Chengdu has its own Jacaranda Avenue, right in the city center! Location: Wujin Road, Chengdu Here lies the largest area of jacarandas in Chengdu, with hundreds of trees stretching forward, forming a jacaranda avenue about 2 kilometers long. Compared to Xichang and Kunming, the blooming period of Chengdu's jacarandas is later, usually around mid-May. However, due to insufficient sunlight, Chengdu's jacarandas have more leaves, and the jacarandas and leaves set each other off, so you can't get the effect of trees full of blue flowers. And the trees are smaller, so in terms of viewing effect, they are not as good as those in Xichang and Kunming. ★☆Transportation Exit from J2 of Wuhou Avenue Station on Chengdu Metro Line 7, and walk to Wujin Road In addition to Wujin Road, there are many other places in Chengdu where jacarandas are distributed. Xinglong Lake, Yipin Tianxia Street, Xiaotong Alley, Longtan Water Town, Chenghua Park, etc., are all good places for viewing. Do you know any other worthwhile jacaranda viewing spots? Let's share together.

Chengdu | Head to the poetic park of Qingfeng Bamboo Shadow to enjoy some tea

Head to the poetic park of Qingfeng Bamboo Shadow to enjoy some tea. Bask in the sun, sip on tea, and set up a mahjong formation; experience the life of Chengdu's people. If you find Renmin Park too crowded, consider visiting Wangjianglou Park, a place graced with cool breezes and bamboo shadows. The park is located on the southern bank of the Jinjiang River, near Chengdu's East Gate. It features the ancient Wangjianglou architectural complex and is planted with a wide variety of bamboo, creating a lush bamboo forest. It is said that the park contains more than 200 types of bamboo from both China and abroad, including some rare species, earning it the nicknames 'Bamboo Park' and 'Jincheng Bamboo Garden'. At the riverside teahouse, brew a cup of Mao Feng tea. With the fragrance of tea in the air, the rustling of bamboo in the breeze, and the continuous sound of mahjong from table to table, you are surrounded by the most ordinary yet comfortable Chengdu lifestyle. Address: No. 30 Wangjianglou, Wuhou District, Chengdu 🚇Subway: Line 6, Exit B of Sanguantang Station 🎫Tickets: South Gate (Garden Area) is open for free, North Gate (Cultural Relics Area, ticket price 20) 🌲Opening hours: Cultural Relics Area: 8:00-18:00, Garden Open Area: 6:00-21:00 🌟PS: Wangjianglou Park is very close to Sichuan University, and also near Jiuyan Bridge, so you can go to Jiuyan Bridge to see the night view in the evening!

Enjoy a vacation without leaving Chengdu!

Enjoy a vacation without leaving Chengdu!

- We found a great place in Chengdu last weekend. The Christmas spirit is already in the air here 🎄 There are shiny decorations and tall Christmas trees everywhere. The kids loved riding the Christmas train 🚂 We chose the aviation-themed family room for our stay. The kids were immediately drawn to the airplane ✈️ elements in the room. They were so excited and started running around and playing. The room was big enough for our family of four! In the afternoon, we sat around the fireplace with the kids, drinking tea and chatting, enjoying some family time. There is also a heated pool, so you can swim in the warm water even in winter. The dinner buffet had everything from fresh seafood to delicious desserts, and even a Chengdu-style hot pot! The kids took their little plates and wandered around the food stations, picking out their favorite foods and eating with relish. We had a fun weekend without leaving Chengdu! It was great! -

My best moments in Chengdu

My best moments in Chengdu

This was the first time I've been to China since so many years back. I would say that Chengdu is really the heart of Sichuan Provice. Metro Station were build for acessbility to different city of Chengdu. Understand from the Local here that there will be a new line (Currently under construction and will be ready by Q4 2023) To connect Tianfu Airport to Central in just 30 mins! (Compared to current travel time 1.5hrs) Their bustling shopping districts are mainly located near Tianfu square which I had chose to stay in Chunxi Road. It is walking distance for people who will enjoy shopping and nightlife. Taikoo Li is also a place to visit where you could see many tiktok-er there doing video recording, A place filled with luxury boutiques like Gucci, Dior, and LV etc. Walking around the city you can often see iconic pandas design in Clothings/Food signboard/Buildings / Architecture For good food I would recommend 成都美食街. Which you can find tons of Sichuan cuisine I've also tried the Spicy Rabbit Heads which are a Local Chengdu Delicacy, They are extremely popular here in Chengdu and you will only know how delicious only till you try it ! With its blend of history, cuisine, and charm, Chengdu stands out to be a "must come" city if you are someone who love spicy food, nice weather and vibrant nightlife.

A Blend of Tradition and Modern Charm

#chinatrip China Lane, or Kuanzhai Alley, is one of Chengdu’s most iconic spots, offering a mix of history, culture, and modern attractions. Wandering through its narrow lanes feels like stepping into a living museum. The ancient architecture and cobblestone streets take you back in time, showcasing Chengdu’s rich history. The lanes are lined with boutique shops, trendy cafés, and traditional tea houses. You’ll find everything from local crafts to modern souvenirs. Kuanzhai Alley’s Three Lanes: Each lane has its own vibe—Wide Lane (Kuang) for relaxing, Narrow Lane (Zhai) for exploring, and Well Lane (Jing) for hidden gems.
