Chengdu's wine culture has a long history, and it has been a place with a developed wine industry since ancient times. From "Wenjun served wine and Xiangru washed utensils" in the Han Dynasty to the numerous wine shops in the Tang and Song Dynasties, Chengdu's wine culture has experienced thousands of years of precipitation and development, forming a unique style. Here, tourists can visit winemaking workshops with a long history, such as Shuijingfang, which has a 600-year history of winemaking, and experience the exquisiteness and inheritance of traditional winemaking skills. In addition to visiting winemaking workshops, you can also participate in the wine and tourism integration route of "Drink a pot of wine in spring, travel through more than 600 years from ancient times to the present", starting from the Shuijingfang Museum, crossing the long river of history, and feeling the unique charm of Bashu culture.

Chengdu Panda Reserve: A Close Encounter with China’s Gentle Giants

#pandatour Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, commonly known as the Chengdu Panda Reserve, is a must-visit destination for anyone wanting to see China’s beloved giant pandas up close. Located just outside Chengdu city, this sanctuary is dedicated to the conservation and breeding of these adorable creatures. As you stroll through the lush bamboo groves and see pandas munching on bamboo, playing, and even napping, you’ll get a unique glimpse into their daily lives and learn about the efforts to protect this endangered species. It’s an unforgettable experience for animal lovers and families alike. Travel Tips: * Arrive Early: Pandas are most active in the early morning, typically between 8:00 and 10:00 a.m. Arriving early not only lets you see them at their liveliest but also helps you avoid the midday crowds. * Don’t Miss the Panda Kindergarten: One of the highlights of the reserve is the panda kindergarten, where you can watch playful cubs learning to climb, tumble, and interact. It’s a heartwarming and unforgettable sight!

Chengdu Travel Guide | Three Days and Two Nights Don't Miss Chengdu's Cuisine

👣The Land of Abundance, Chengdu, with its food bonus, is unforgettable. Stroll through the Wide and Narrow Alleys during the day to experience the rich tea culture of Chengdu, and at night, take a look at Jiuyan Bridge, or sit at the entrance of a small tavern to listen to the sounds of Chengdu 👣Du Fu Thatched Cottage fulfills a dream of pastoral retreat, with its classical Chinese garden of thatched cottages and ponds. The retreat buff is stacked high, envying Du Fu's life 👣Immerse yourself in local life, wander around Baihuatan Park, eat local skewers, hotpot, and other delicacies. At night, Jinli Ancient Street brings the atmosphere of Chengdu to its peak, while Chunxi Road contrasts with Jinli, clearly delineating the past from the present 📍Detailed Address | Chengdu City, Sichuan Province 🕙Business Hours | Open 24 hours ⏳Recommended Play Time | Suggest 3 days and 2 nights 💰Average Spending | About 1000 RMB per person 🗓Itinerary | ✅Chengdu - Wide and Narrow Alleys - Chengdu Hotpot - Chunxi Road - Tavern ✅Du Fu Thatched Cottage - Baihuatan Park - Chengdu Skewers - Jinli - Jiuyan Bridge 👉The Wide and Narrow Alleys, as the name suggests, consist of parallel Wide Alley, Narrow Alley, and Well Alley. This is an ancient Qing Dynasty street left in Chengdu, with more than 70 courtyards and over 300 rooms, filled with the scent of hotpot and the aroma of tea in the air 👉Du Fu lived in the Thatched Cottage for four years, with babbling streams, thatched cottages sheltering from wind and rain, red walls and bamboo groves, both simple and elegant as well as quiet and serene. Later, the Thatched Cottage was repeatedly restored and abandoned, and the 'Thousand Ridges Thatched Cottage' stele pavilion witnessed Du Fu's life in Chengdu 👉Jinli Ancient Street is a must-visit in Chengdu, with its Three Kingdoms culture and Sichuan folk culture. The ancient opera stage, Nine-Rank Snack Street, and folk memory wall here leave a deep impression, immersing visitors in the life of Chengdu 👉Jiuyan Bridge is one of the must-visit spots for Chengdu's night view, with its stone railings and large arched stone bridge surface. The bridge has nine holes, hence the name Jiuyan Bridge. It is also a 'bar street' popular among young people, where you can enjoy the night view and listen to music 👉In the past, Zhao Lei's song 'Chengdu' became popular throughout the country. Walking through the streets of Chengdu, to the end of Yulin Road, sitting at the entrance of a small tavern. Only by coming to the tavern in person do you realize that in Chengdu there is only Yulin South Road and Yulin North Road, no Yulin Road. The tavern is small, crowded, and indeed, you can only sit at the entrance. I came to Chengdu because of 'Chengdu', what brought you here?

Unbounded experience ♾️

#hotelstaycation There's clearly a distinction between a hotel 🏨 experience and a home 🏡 experience; and in my exploration of numerous hotels in China - The Langbo Chengdu is truly a homey feel. It comes under Unbounded collections of Hyatt group, and they do stand true to that category. I couldn't have asked for a better breakfast in Chengdu than the beef noodles 🍜 with bamboo 🎍 shreds in it. Maybe the panda 🐼 will like me more, because of my likeness towards bamboo 😜 #urbanexplorer#tripblazers#summervacation

A fly restaurant that has been open for 30 years in Chengdu.

Chengdu Dongzikou Chen's Cold Noodles has been open for at least 30 years and is regarded as a magical fly restaurant by many diners! 1. Self-service, you can take whatever is on the table, and if not, wait for the trolley to pass by you, and then take it! Rice, drinks, tableware... all by yourself! 2. Self-seating, no one will greet you, so sit down as soon as you see a seat! Otherwise, you will have to share a table! 3. Self-entertainment, come here for tea in the morning, have lunch here, continue to drink tea in the afternoon, play mahjong, and have a great time. Stir-fried liver and kidney, cold chicken, meatball soup, and white cold noodles are ordered at every table! We also ordered pumpkin shreds, cold noodles, yellow cold noodles, and three bottles of mineral water. The bill was 183, and the average was 61 per person.

Chengdu - Wuhou Shrine

Chengdu - Wuhou Shrine

The only place in the country where a monarch and his minister are worshipped together, Emperor Liu Bei of Shu and Chancellor Zhuge Liang are both here~ Statues have also been erected for the famous ministers of Shu Han, but there are too many photos to post each one. I've always been someone who loves the Three Kingdoms, and the most tear-jerking for me are Chancellor Zhuge Liang's words: 'Vast heaven, why do you treat me so thinly?' and Jiang Boyue of Tianshui's words: 'If this plan fails, it is destiny, one plan harmed three wise men.' Wishing to repeat the greatness of the Han dynasty, alas. Here, I also recommend everyone to experience the romance of the Three Kingdoms that belongs to Shu Han. Those who have seen the Three Kingdoms should know the pity of the great Han. I also recommend a route for everyone. Recommended route: Main Gate - Tang Stele - Ming Stele - Main Hall of Han Zhao Lie Temple - Side Halls of Guan Yu and Zhang Fei - Corridor of Civil and Military Officials - Main Hall of Zhuge Liang (Heart-Attack Alliance) - Sanyi Temple - Peach Garden - Hui Ling - Red Wall Alley Punch - Exhibition Hall. Ticket: Reservation for Chengdu Wuhou Shrine, 50 yuan for adults, half price for students. That's all for now, I'm still the guy who wants to travel the world without enough sleep (budget travel, oh) living for myself, brothers.

High End Shopping in Chengdu🇨🇳

#timetotravel Taikoo Li in Chengdu is a high end outdoor shopping area but there are also lots of cafes and restaurants. You will surely love it here if you are into luxury window shopping and dining in nice restaurants. Just expect to pay more than usual. This place is where we see all of those fashionable people we see on short videos on tiktok. Whenever I come here, I always make sure that I look good because I always feel like I am underdressed. I guess people who come here tend to clothed nicely as the place screams high end. This place is really attractive to tourists too as it is near to the famous Panda Mall (IFS) . Enjoy your visit! Nearest Subway stop: Chunxi Road #tripblazers #mytripvlog #shopping #chinatravel #chengdu

A hidden gem of a Western restaurant.

A hidden gem of a Western restaurant.

Went for a meal with friends over the weekend. It's been a while since I had Western food, so we decided to go to Niccolo Kitchen. I've been here a few times before, and I heard they recently updated their menu, so I had to come back and try it out. 😋 . First of all, the environment is really nice. It's elegant and private, making it a great place for a date or a small gathering with friends. . Now let's talk about the food. 👇🏻 ▪️Thai-style pomelo grilled prawn salad: I highly recommend this salad. Compared to traditional salads, it's not as bland. The Thai flavor is richer, and the pomelo adds a refreshing sweetness that keeps it from being too heavy. ▪️Pan-fried cowboy bone: The meat is really good. It's tender and not dry at all. It's cooked just right. ▪️Rosemary lamb chops: I personally didn't taste any mutton flavor. The rosemary is really fragrant, and the meat is tender and juicy. I recommend it to anyone who likes lamb. ▪️Herb chicken: This roast chicken is a generous portion. The chicken is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The skin is crispy and the meat is tender. It comes with thick-cut fries, which are really good. ▪️Sichuan-style Wagyu pizza: This is a very unique main course. It's hard to find Sichuan-style pizza. 🌶️ It's quite spicy, and compared to traditional Mexican Tabasco sauce, this Sichuan-style chili is more fragrant. Definitely worth a try. ▪️Dessert: For dessert, we ordered tiramisu, chocolate cake, and berry cake. They were all just the right amount of sweet, not too sweet. They were the perfect ending to the meal. . That's it for today's Western food review. Remember to eat well.

Chengdu, Chengdu!! A Thai family restaurant opened by a couple from Bangkok.

Chengdu, Chengdu!! A Thai family restaurant opened by a couple from Bangkok.

My favorite Thai restaurant has opened a second branch in Yulin. I first heard about them from a cross-cultural love story. 6 years ago, a Chinese girl (Nicky) and a Bangkok designer (Nick) met by chance. 6 years later, they have two family restaurants in Chengdu, "Nick and Nicky's Family". I've eaten there 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 times! Every dish is really!! So good!! It's so delicious and authentic, and many dishes are not available elsewhere!! The two branches are located in Taikoo Li and Yulin, and the per capita consumption is only two digits. It's one of the few Thai restaurants in Chengdu that I will keep going to!!

Chengdu‖Accommodation

🎆The hotel we stayed at🏨, is a light luxury hotel, Summerisland Light Luxury Service Apartment . The price is around 500 . The room is what I like , the room has a kitchen, refrigerator, washing machine🎽, and there is a sound system🎼 to listen to music. Of course, you can drink some wine🍷, but at your own expense. Coffee and water are free🧂. 🎆You can contact your 🤶housekeeper in advance when you go, she will come down to pick you up, we stayed on the 36th floor and friends' 50th floor. But we only stayed for one night, and went out for drinks at night, otherwise, you can enjoy the night view. ✨The location is also quite good, close to Chunxi Road, Taikoo Li. However, the straight-line distance in Chengdu is very close, but there is a bit of a distance to walk👣. So we took a taxi throughout Chengdu, and it won't be very expensive. Chengdu's 798 East Suburb Memory

Chengdu's 798 East Suburb Memory

I don't recommend making a special trip to Chengdu! Detailed guide to East Suburb Memory||East Suburb Memory is an international fashion industry park that has been redeveloped from the former site of the state-owned Hongguang Electron Tube Factory, with a focus on 'fashion design and music art as the twin pillars of development' East Suburb Memory is known as 'China's West End of London' and is a national 4A-level tourist attraction 🗺️Location: East Suburb Memory (northeast corner), No. 4 Construction South Branch Road, Chenghua District, Chengdu City 🅿️Self-driving parking: You can navigate to the underground parking lot of East Suburb Memory's east gate 🚈Public transportation: 8 minutes walk from Exit B1 of East Suburb Memory Station on Metro Line 8 Opening hours: All day Tickets: Free, it is recommended not to go on weekends, it's really crowded 👔Dress: Retro, workwear, street, artistic, cool Internet celebrity check-in (📷It's advised to go early for check-in photos, otherwise it's very crowded): The red brick wall with the big 'Chengdu' characters at the North Second Gate Train head square, 'East Suburb Memory' platform The big love heart and next to the traffic lights there's also a big dog (I didn't go because I'm afraid of dogs) Near the south gate, take industrial style photos near the chimney pipes The large lawn at the West Gate camping square There are many coffee shops☕️, bars, cultural and creative shops, trendy brand shops, vintage clothing shops, restaurants, theaters🎦, and art galleries in the park Suggestions + Personal feelings: If you just want to take photos and check in, it's better to go early, otherwise, you'll have to queue My personal feeling is that there's not much to play with, the commercial atmosphere is strong, and once you've walked down the main street, there's not much left. If it's on the way, you can visit cultural and creative shops, trendy brand shops, vintage clothing shops, etc. to feel the vibe of trendy people, but I don't recommend making a special trip
