Introduction Jiangxi Gan Opera

Introduction
Some information may have been translated by Google Translate

Jiangxi Gan Opera, as a unique local opera in Jiangxi Province, is one of the national intangible cultural heritages. It originated in northeast Jiangxi, and its origin can be traced back to Yiyang Opera, one of the four ancient vocal styles. In the long river of history, Gan Opera has continuously absorbed artistic elements such as Kunqu Opera and Luantan (a kind of opera vocal style popular in the Qing Dynasty), and gradually formed its own unique artistic style. The performance style of Gan Opera is simple and authentic, with equal emphasis on singing, reciting, acting and fighting, and pays attention to the combination of posture, singing and recitation. The actors show the emotions and personalities of the characters in the play to the fullest through vivid expressions, smooth postures and passionate singing. On the stage, Gan Opera has won the love and praise of the audience with its rich repertoire, unique performance form and profound cultural heritage. In addition, Gan Opera also carries the historical and cultural memory of Jiangxi Province, and is an important carrier for inheriting and promoting the excellent traditional Chinese culture. By appreciating Gan Opera performances, people can not only appreciate the charm of traditional Chinese opera, but also feel the unique humanistic customs and historical and cultural heritage of Jiangxi Province.

Jingdezhen, a city with a thousand years of history, is known as the "Porcelain Capital".

Porcelain is the city's synonym. The streets and alleys are lined with shops, and the locals make a living from it. The night market is as bright as day. Whether it's utensils, ornaments, or daily tableware, they all seem to be telling a story. Porcelain is the city's original inhabitant. These utensils, once buried in the dark, are more vivid than books, heavier than history, and more specific than time. Green bricks and black tiles, misty rain in the south of the Yangtze River. It is said that the sky blue color on the porcelain needs to be fired under the temperature and humidity of the misty rain, so it is famous. It is also one of the top ten most beautiful ancient towns selected by National Geographic.

The hotel is located in a pastoral ecological garden at the foot of Wugong Mountain. The exquisite Chinese-style villas, private boutique pools, infinity pool, spa pool, sauna, stone hot spring, tea room, children's activity room, and other facilities are all available. ✔️ Private pool ✔️ Garden design ✔️ Thoughtful service The rooms are clean and tidy, with a smart housekeeper and all kinds of facilities. The high-tech is convenient. The dinner ingredients are fresh and plentiful. The owner personally picks up and drops off guests at the scenic spots, providing thoughtful service. There is also a public swimming pool and hot spring pool here. When there are few people, the hot spring experience is good. There is free tea and fruit in the lounge. The garden design is healing, with small bridges and flowing water. It's really enjoyable to stay here for a night after climbing Wugong Mountain.

Wugong Mountain: A Place You'll Want to Visit Again

The innkeeper at Wugong Mountain has informed us that the temperatures are gradually dropping, and the mountain is entering the peak season for sea of clouds. If you're eager to witness this natural spectacle, it's a good idea to check the weather with him in advance. This photo of the sunset and sea of clouds was taken on September 12th. Climbing the mountain was exhausting, but after some rest, the desire to return is irresistible. #WugongMountain #WugongMountainHiking #WugongMountainTeam #WugongMountainWeather #WugongMountainSunrise #WugongMountainAccommodation #YoungHikers #BeautyOnTheJourney #SeaOfCloudsSunrise #ChasingSunrisesAndClouds

Night Climb of Wugong Mountain on May 24 (Guide Included)

Night Climb of Wugong Mountain on May 24 (Guide Included)

Conquering the small yet mighty Wugong Mountain! ⛰️⛰️⛰️ The weather was perfect today, and there were lots of people. The sunrise and sea of clouds at Wugong Mountain are truly worth it. Here’s my personal experience: 🧩 Gear: Based on others' guides, I packed a windbreaker, water bottle, power bank, snacks, raincoat, flashlight, sunglasses, mask, insect repellent, trash bags, and cash. 👆🏻 However, I found some items unnecessary: Water bottle (I drank a bottle of mineral water on the way up and bought a cup at the top, so I didn’t use my water bottle at all). Flashlight: There are small night lights along the path, and the phone’s flashlight is more than enough (I followed the route, so I didn’t use the flashlight at all). Cash: The signal at the top is good, so I didn’t use cash. ID card (a QR code is enough to enter, so forgetting the ID card is not a problem). Hiking stick: A professional hiking stick might help, but a cheap bamboo stick is unnecessary and heavy. If you need a hiking stick, choose the lightest one. I tried my friend’s for a while, but my arm got sore, and we ended up giving it away. Climbing with hands on the railings is easier, in my opinion, than using a hiking stick. 👌🏻 Must-bring items: 1️⃣ Windbreaker (I wore it after passing the Despair Slope and the last three peaks. At the top, there’s no shelter from the wind, and the windbreaker keeps you warm. However, a thick coat with a raincoat works just as well). 2️⃣ Snacks: Cucumbers! The smell of others eating cucumbers was irresistible. Candy, bread, crackers, and chocolate are also good. 3️⃣ Insect repellent 🌟🌟🌟 At sunrise, all the bugs wake up, which is terrifying for someone afraid of bugs like me. I sprayed insect repellent on my clothes and wore glasses, a mask, and gloves to watch the sunrise comfortably. Everyone borrowed my spray, and I ended up spraying it on everyone around us. 🕒 Timeline: 11:20 PM - Start night climb 11:50 PM - Reach ticket checkpoint 1:55 AM - Start climbing Hero Slope 4:30 AM - Reach the top and start watching the sunrise 5:20 AM - Sunrise 8:30-10:00 AM - Queue for the Golden Summit cable car down 10:50 AM - Reach Zhong’an cable car and queued until 12:00 PM to descend. My friend and I usually work out, so when we got tired climbing, we just took a few minutes to rest without stopping at rest stations for long. #WugongMountainGuide #WugongMountainSeaOfClouds #NightClimbWugongMountain

A Journey to Wugong Mountain: Encountering the Sea of Clouds and Heartfelt Moments

A Journey to Wugong Mountain: Encountering the Sea of Clouds and Heartfelt Moments

From February 15 to 16, 2025, I embarked on a journey to Wugong Mountain, expecting to see snow-covered landscapes. Instead, I was met with cold rain, but also encountered a group of passionate souls. The journey began from Shenzhen, with a direct bus to the foot of Wugong Mountain. Despite the harsh weather, the enthusiasm for adventure remained undeterred, and the warmth from my companions melted away the chill. We stayed overnight at the Yunshang Qing Inn, where we cooked meals and brewed tea together, sharing laughter that dispelled the cold and fatigue. At 5 AM, we set off. The mountains were silent, yet the lights from the headlamps and flashlights of fellow climbers shone brightly, symbolizing hope. These lights, along with the sparse stars and hazy moonlight, created a breathtaking scene. A large national flag guided us forward, adding to the beauty. Among us was a remarkable 17-year-old, known as the "Flag Brother," who carried a giant national flag (1.9 meters high and 2.8 meters wide) as part of his dream to join the military. Inspired, I decided to carry the flag to the summit by sunrise. I traded my trekking pole for his 6-meter flagpole, packed the flag, and sprinted up the mountain. Along the way, I shed layers to lighten my load, but couldn't reach the summit before sunrise. However, on a small hill, as dawn broke, I raised the flag, feeling deeply moved. Ultimately, we successfully escorted the flag to the summit. Sometimes, people set seemingly unrealistic goals and strive to achieve them with all their might, finding joy in the challenge. Even if it only moves oneself, it's a meaningful experience. Despite the unexpected icy rain, the journey was filled with warmth and camaraderie, lighting up the mountains with our shared passion. #HikingTheWorld #OutdoorHiking #WugongMountain #WugongMountainSeaOfClouds

Discover the Secret to Stunning Cloud Seas at White Wugong Mountain!

Discover the Secret to Stunning Cloud Seas at White Wugong Mountain!

1. My clothing strategy follows the popular three-layer method: a moisture-wicking base layer, a thin down jacket in the middle, and a waterproof outer shell. For the legs, I wear two layers (quick-dry sports underwear and thicker sports pants). 2. Choose waterproof shoes and bring a couple of pairs of thick wool socks. Keeping your head and limbs warm is equally important. Essential gear includes a raincoat, crampons, gaiters, sunglasses, sunscreen, and trekking poles. 3. I use the Windy app to check the weather. It provides more detailed forecasts than the default phone app, including wind speed, precipitation, and cloud height at different altitudes. Windy helps me decide whether to wake up early for a sunrise cloud sea or stay cozy in my sleeping bag. I recommend using the Meteogram mode for a clear view of wind, rain, clouds, snow, and pressure data. If rainfall exceeds 2mm or wind speed reaches gale levels, it's best not to set out. This app has been my reliable 'magic tool' for outdoor adventures. 4. Lastly, while Wugong Mountain is more beautiful in winter, don't underestimate the weather. Avoid blindly following trends. The mountain is windy, high in altitude, cold, and less crowded. Make sure to plan thoroughly, choose suitable weather, and travel with companions. Safety is the top priority. #HappyHikingDiary #NoteInspiration #WugongMountain #WugongMountainCloudSea #OutdoorHiking
