Room 10 is a great coffee and breakfast.spot. But you need to get here early on weekends as it gets rather busy. I spent an hour over the weekends waiting to get a table. Lots of locals come so you know it's good. My favourite dish is the Breakfast Rice, simple eggs on toast are also really good. The outdoor seating is a bit more chilled as it's away from the kitchen but during winter it's also a bit more chilled. (See what I did there). Indoors is cosy but a bit more hectic with the staff running around in the adjoining kitchen. #australiatrip #breakfast #sydney

Yes, that's the best view of Sydney Harbour Bridge together with Sydney Opera House as you can see!📸 Go to Royal Botanical Gardens, spit the point called Mrs Macquarie's Chair, walk a few steps from there towards Sydney Opera House, and that's it.On the way, only when you would havewalked a few steps, you will discover this wonderful view! The point is also markedas 'Fleet Steps'on google maps to make it easier. Mind a bit of timing and plan to arrive here just before the sunset, even better!🌅 #royalbotanicalgarden #sydneyoperahouse #sydneyharborbridge

Harbor Panorama

Harbor Panorama

Mrs. Macquarie's Chair is located on a peninsula in the center of Sydney Harbor. The chair was hand-carved by convicts in 1810 and dedicated to the wife of Major General Macquarie, the Governor of New South Wales. According to folklore, Mrs. Macquarie enjoyed sitting here to take in the panoramic view of the harbor. One can imagine that if the convicts had such a beautiful spot to work, they would certainly be willing to come here to carve, perhaps even doing so meticulously and slowly.

Fantastic food

The food at Cho Cho San is exceptional, showcasing a blend of traditional and contemporary Japanese flavours that are truly unforgettable. Whether it’s a quick lunch or a long dinner, every dish is prepared with the utmost care and attention to detail. It’s a really lively restaurant with a nice atmosphere although due to the small space, the sound is amplified and got quite noisy where I couldn’t quite hear the person next to me. That's only a bother when you are here on a business meeting or entertaining a client. The ocean trout was our favourite, with a punchy soy sauce wasabi base. And the striploin was wonderfully tender with a subtly smokiness and delicious soy sauce. Highly recommended for great food and ambience. #australiatrip #lively #deliciousfood

Sydney Charles Lodge - A Comfortable and Elegant Choice: Charles Lodge 21-23 Challis Ave

Sydney Charles Lodge - A Comfortable and Elegant Choice: Charles Lodge 21-23 Challis Ave

🌟Sydney Charles Lodge - A Comfortable and Elegant Choice: 🏨😊Charles Lodge 📍📫21-23 Challis Ave, Potts Point, Sydney, New South Wales ▪️This hotel is located in Potts Point, a prime location in Sydney, offering convenient access to transportation. 🏙️ It's an 8-minute walk from Kings Cross Station, with easy connections to various destinations. The surrounding area is full of unique restaurants, boutique cafes, and diverse bars, offering plenty to explore. 🏢 The neighborhood is very quiet, making it a great choice for travelers who want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. ▪️Upon entering the hotel, I was immediately captivated by the elegant and refined decor, with the old building's exterior retaining its unique charm. 🎨 The front desk staff were very welcoming upon check-in, and the process was quick and efficient. The lobby has computers and self-service laundry facilities, which is very convenient. 🏠 Although the rooms are not large, they are well-equipped with high-quality bedding, free high-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a digital LCD TV, a desk, and a small but fully equipped en suite bathroom with carefully selected toiletries. 👍 The hotel provides daily cleaning service, showing great attention to detail. 🛏️The room experience definitely exceeded my expectations. I stayed in a room with a balcony, where I could enjoy the beautiful morning sunshine. Although the room was a bit small, the bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bedding was of high quality, and there was a refrigerator and tea-making facilities. The bathroom was clean and modern, but a bit cramped, suitable for short stays. 📺 It was very relaxing to sit on the bed and watch TV after each shower. 🌟Recommendations Nearby 🍽️A foodie's paradise! There are many great restaurants near the hotel, such as AALIA Restaurant Sydney for Mediterranean cuisine, Nour for Middle Eastern food, and Primi Italian for Italian dishes. There's also Farmhouse Kings Cross, which has a great atmosphere and is perfect for dining. 🎡For those who want to explore, the famous Sydney Opera House is about a 30-minute walk from the hotel. The nearby Sydney Harbour and Sydney Harbour Bridge are also must-see attractions. Sightseeing enthusiasts can take a Sydney ferry to enjoy the magnificent harbor views. In summary, Charles Lodge is really suitable for solo travelers or couples, offering comfort, a great location, and excellent value for money. If you're planning a city break, why not come and experience it for yourself? 🚀
