Good: - The reception staff was very nice and helpful, they organized our transfer to Mati si - The location was good, close to the food street and bus station to go to Zhangye danxia colorful mountain - There were enough amenities (kettle, cups, tooth brush...) but the towels were very small. Bad: - The cleanliness was not great, lots of hairs on the floor, and dust on furniture. - The mattress wasn't a mattress but a wooden plank we felt like fakirs. - The shower head was leaking from every side and the drain was smelling very bad in the morning - The isolation was bad, we could hear everything happening in the alley downstairs or in the room next door. Also there were mosquitoes in the room but the hostel provides an electronic repellent and a mosquito net on the window. All in all it wasn't the best hotel but it was cheap and ok.

We had a great stay here. It is clean and comfortable, and conveniently located in the centre of the city, with all major attractions within a 15 minute walk (Mingqing street; drum tower; Big Buddha temple; wooden pagoda and the connected square [lots of people dancing in the mornings and evenings—a must see!]). The receptionist was very helpful and friendly too. The hostel also organised affordable transport for us to and from Danxia rainbow sand dunes (50¥/person) and Mati temple (70¥/person); note that this is 1/3 of the price charged by private drivers or tour agencies! A good place to base yourself to explore Zhangye and nearby sites.

Great hostel for solo travellers looking to find tours at an affordable price. Great value for money as well for a single room as well as an excellent friendly front desk

Clean hostel, super helpful staff, great location (the bus stop to the Rainbow Mountains is 12 min walking distance & the area is nice with good services!) Family owned business, the owners are extremely kind! High recommendations of a good quality hostel.

Room was nice, cozy common room. Tours around Zhangye were nice and provided by the Hostel for little price. Besides, we wanted to book for the desert and the lady helped us a lot to organize, get the contacts and she also kept our luggages while we were away. Very recommended

The woman who owns it is so friendly and helpful, and organized a whole day trip for me which was amazing. She also let me have the room until late before my train. Would definitely recommend, especially for the value.

The beds are clean and comfortable, the public bathroom is outside the room, and the entire corridor is full of hostel rooms. It feels like I'm back in a school dormitory. The roommates I met are also very nice. We chatted, ate fruit, and washed clothes together, which was inexplicably fun. The warm feeling of quiet time. . Grandma is very nice and enthusiastic. There is a free large parking lot outside for convenient parking. The location is very good. You can walk to the night market, museums, the Big Buddha Temple, and the popular Malatang restaurants.

It's very close to Ganquan Park. You can walk there or ride a bicycle to the Bell Tower.

I stayed here for eight days in total. It was a combination of living and traveling. Around the hostel, there are ancient streets of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, supermarkets, museums, libraries, drum towers, and Buddhist temples, which can be reached directly on foot. It is very convenient. The landlady and the store The cleaning aunties are very nice and provide timely help. The room I stayed in was clean and tidy. It was quiet and quiet at night, with plenty of light. The clothes I washed were basically dry the next day. The hotel is relatively close to Zhangye West Station, and it is very convenient to go to Colorful Danxia on your own. You can also ask the owner of the store to carpool there with your friends.

The room and bunks are very clean, and the bed is really wide. It is the widest bed I have ever seen in the country. You can flip it around as you like. The hot water is very hot and it is good to soak your feet. The lady boss is very nice and enthusiastic.
