The room is spacious! Clean! It really feels very good value for money! It's also very quiet at night. The room was cleaned very cleanly. I drank up two bottles of mineral water on the first day, and I was given three bottles on the second day. The little details are really in place! The front desk staff also greeted me with a smile, and I was very satisfied. It's much better than I thought. It would cost 700 a night in Shanghai, hahahaha. The location is very convenient. It takes about five minutes to take a taxi from the high-speed rail station, and it may take twelve minutes to walk. There are all gourmet restaurants downstairs. The beef noodles and spicy hot pot were very delicious. I also washed my hair at the barber shop downstairs, hahaha. In short, it is highly recommended! I will stay here next time! I didn't take pictures of the hotel, so I'll post the beautiful scenery of Zhangye!

A fantastic hotel. I usually don’t like staying in big hotels as they tend to be soulless, but this one was really special. From the fresh cucumber face mask to the hot soak for your feet, they are incredibly thoughtful and kind. The service is fantastic. They were really helpful to us as foreigners, highly recommend!

Some ingredients were expensive, such as prawns and shrimps, but unfortunately there were no fried eggs. The biggest shortcoming is that only the hot air conditioner in the room is open, and the temperature is very high, which affects the quality of sleep. At night, I can only expose my feet outside the quilt when I sleep. I called the front desk and the answer was that there was no cold air cooling, only hot air conditioning, or turn off the hot air conditioner, but in fact it couldn't be turned off. The temperature inside was too hot, which neither saved energy consumption nor reduced the experience.

Just completed a wonderful three night stay at the Zhangye Holiday Inn. Perhaps most Silk Road tourists do not spend three nights in Zhangye but we wanted to visit both the popular and more “off the beaten path” historical sites nearby. This Holiday Inn is up to international standards - the staff was very professional, courteous and well trained, the rooms were modern and well-maintained, and even the buffet breakfast restaurant manager spoke English. This is probably one of the few (if not the only) more Westernized hotels in Zhangye) and we had a very good stay and experience in this hotel in Zhangye.

This is the best traveler accommodation you can find in Zhangye. Rooms and dorms are sparkling clean, and so are the common toilets, cleaned several times daily as I observed. The showers are on the upper floors, and this could be really the only drawback if one comes when it's cold. Otherwise, the atmosphere is great - plenty of Chinese and international travelers to share evenings and meals, and they organize affordable tours to the Danxia scenic area and also Mati si and Jingta temples. We took one and were very happy with the driver and the service and made the best out of our day in Zhangye. Book without exitation!

This is my second time staying at this hot spring hotel. Really recommend to all my friends! This is a real hot spring. Soaking in the large pool in the room will make your body slippery... Just soak for half an hour and you can wash away the fatigue of the day's journey. Since I am a Ctrip Golden Diamond member, I got a hot spring deluxe double bed room on the 6th executive floor for 370 yuan. I also received welcome fruits, yogurt and sour plum soup, which gave me a wonderful feeling of being at home! Although the location of this hot spring hotel is a bit remote (that is to say, it is a bit far from the center of Zhangye old city), the food in the nearby Lan Kwai Fong exclusive private cuisine restaurant is really good. For 88 yuan, you can eat a pound of Zhangye food. The specialty dish is ”hand-caught mutton”. Stay in a hotel, soak in hot springs, eat mutton, it’s so beautiful😊😊😊

We stayed 4 nights at the Runhu Hotel while we visited all the tourist attractions around Zhangye, including trips to the Gobi desert, Ping Shan Hu (Grand Canyon), the Alien Valley and other sites. The hotel - which is clean, spacious and quiet - has motivated employees who are happy to meet any request. The restaurant is actually very good with reasonable prices the buffet breakfast also was varied and of very good quality. The hotel also provides such services as nightly warm milk deliver and a foot soaking tub with epsom salts with no extra charge. The hotel also referred us to a driver with his own very nice and well kept car. He, Mr. Li, went way above and beyond what anyone could expect. He provided snacks, fruits, water and some sort of local soft drink and arranged tickets in advance where reservations were required and made sure to adapt those reservations when the weather closed one of the sites. His recommendations for local food at or near the various sites were also spot on. While the places were simple (and very inexpensive), the food was honest and good. You can bank on Mr. Li to make sure everything goes along smoothly. All you have to do is tell him what you want to see, or ask him for recommendations, and he will do the rest. In short, splendid hotel for the price with terrific service and if you need a driver, Mr. Li is your guy!
