I recently stayed at a hotel near the Tianmenshan Cableway, and it was an excellent choice for anyone planning to explore Tianmen Mountain. The location is incredibly convenient, just a short walk from the cable car station, making it easy to start your adventure without any hassle. The hotel itself is clean, modern, and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout my stay. The rooms were well-appointed with comfortable beds, great amenities, and large windows that let in plenty of natural light. I also appreciated the hearty breakfast options, perfect for fueling up before a day of hiking or sightseeing. In all, this hotel offers great value for its location, comfort, and service. Location is perfect because it is opposite the Tianmen Mountain Cableway entrance. Got upgraded to a family room and the room is specious and big for 3 of us. Hotel comes with laundry and dryer machine which you can use for free. Front desk staff were helpful in guiding us on how to go about hiking our attraction. The only bad thing is the soundproof is not too good. Our room did not face the main street but we could hear all the tour buses Horning in the morning at 7am. Overall, I would still recommend this place.

We had a wonderful stay at the Pullman. George from the concierge was very helpful in booking our tickets. The location is fantastic, close to East Gate, with major attractions just a few kilometers away. Although we hired a Didi, it's also possible to walk to these attractions. The western food section in the restaurant could use some improvement; the pizza tasted more like cheese on bread than an actual pizza. However, the breakfast buffet was quite nice. We definitely recommend this place for families, as the pool is great for both kids and adults after a long day of walking.

The hotel is in an excellent location, very close to Tinamen Mountain cable car (10 minute walk), and close to many restaurants. We got a room upgrade to a very big, comfortable and clean room. The breakfast is excellent, delicious traditional chinese cuisine. The hotel haas a travel agency (where we booked tickets to the national park saving us the lines), money exchange service and several grocery stores. Overall everything was good except for a very unpleasant interaction with the staff. We had an early train in the morning and we asked at the front desk to help us book a taxi in advance. The entire staff, none of them speaks english obviously, 5 people started to make fun of us in chinese for several minutes, eventually telling us to to catch a taxi on the road at 5 in the morning. What is so funny about asking the hotel staff to call a taxi? It was very humiliating, this hotel clearly does not care for its foreign guests. I've stayed in several hotels in China, never have I experienced anything similar. Additionaly, since we checked out before breakfast the hotel refused to provide us with any appropriate compensation, offering us a bottle of water and a piece of bread. Cannot recommend this hotel.

This hotel is very near to the East Gate of the Wulingyuan National Park. Walking distance by/along the river side takes only 10 mins or less. You may see the locals doing their laundry by the river. Hotel staffs are helpful & friendy. There even care to share the informations of how going about within National Park. The room view is good facing the river side & not so noisy. Room is super spacious & beds too. Morning breakfast is buffet style & food is nice! I definitely will come back to stay again!

Would recommend this place. This place is great value for money. Good location if you want somewhere calm and tranquil; having travelled around China to the big cities, I needed this more secluded stay. I could not fault the service. I arrived early and they offered me breakfast which was so lovely of them. The food is more home style cooking, simple but decent. The staff were incredibly helpful. I had a fever on my first night and they took good care of me. Kevin especially was very hospitable. Thank you!

Yuxi Homestay is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed at. When we arrived, they were very welcoming and helped us make a itinerary for Zhangjiajie, which was super helpful. This Homestay provides a delightful breakfast with multiple options to choose from. The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. This was also the case for dinner, there were a lot of options to choose from and the chef made us some delicious local & traditional foods! And then we have the view!! They had breathtaking views and a peaceful ambiance. We even could fish in the backyard of the hotel. It's an ideal retreat for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. Overall, Yuxi Homestay offers a perfect blend of comfort, hospitality, and charm. It exceeded all my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable stay. Without a doubt, this homestay deserves a full 5-star rating.

We booked 2 triple rooms. Due to the layout of the hotel, we were on different floors, which was no problem. One room was a regular room and the other room was premium, which was way more comfortable. The shower of the regular room leaked, which made the bathroom always wet with spills. Breakfast was okay, they have a small convenience store linked to the lobby, which is nice to buy snacks and drinks before going to the parks. Hotel is about 30 min. away from the mayor entrances.

Amazing hotel and unmatchable views! Food and location was great! Staff is very kind, sweet and helpful. Room was amazing! They upgraded us and gave us basically a house! If you are looking to visit the park and enjoy the hotel this is your place. It is secluded so don't go if you are looking to hang out outside in a proper town etc. I am vegetarian so I wish there were more clear veggie options as I know Chinese food has but they went out of their way to help me. I also wish there was a menu in English and a clear vegetarian menu so it was just easy to order food rather than trying to overlap one phone with the other to translate (Google translate) 😂. Also for us this is the best entrance and the hotel is literally 5 minutes driving from it. They take you every morning in a golf car and it is just magical. Visiting this park and having this view every morning when waking up it made this trip totally worth it.

My friend and I recently had the pleasure of staying at No.5, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were impeccably clean, comfortable, and has a rustic feel to it, making us feel right at home. The amenities and service provided were top-notch, and we especially appreciated the service provided by 小古 (Xiao Gu). The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. They were always available to assist with any requests and provided excellent recommendations for local attractions. Breakfast each morning was a delight, a buffet style with a variety of delicious options to choose from. All the food were really yummy and we enjoyed that home cooked taste. Overall, our stay at No.5 was exceptional, and we highly recommend this inn to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway at Zhangjiejia.
