Hotel is in a convenient location - about a 10-15 min walk to the east gate entrance to ZJJ park and a 5 min walk from the bus transfer station. There are some good local eats and massages around as well.
Hotel cleanliness was slightly below average - there is dust in the crevices of the floors/beds and the bedroom counters. Floor is also uneven, and the chairs have marks on them.
Beds were average - could feel the springs to an extent.
Hotel service was not very informative - none of the staff were able to provide any guidance on touring the park, and the hotel did not seem to have a map available.
The hotel has no hot spring despite it being in the name. Massages were also 5x the price of a local spot across the street.

I made a reservation for two nights. I knew it was old, but I chose this hotel because it had a hot spring. However, the hot spring was closed. The staff was very rude. When I returned to my room on the second night, the room key was broken. I had to wait in the hallway for it to be repaired. They couldn't fix it, so I had to change rooms. The heating didn't work well on both the first and second nights, so I spent a cold night. The Wi-Fi was sometimes working and sometimes not. It's been a while since I've had a bad experience with a hotel. I can't recommend this hotel to Japanese people.

This hotel is completely suitable for overnight stays. It may be designed to provide hourly rooms. The windows are not soundproof at all, the noise is huge, and the hotel's own air conditioner is screaming outside the window. I can't sleep. I don't recommend staying here no matter how cheap it is.

The hotel location is better. It's about a five-minute walk from Wulingyuan Bus Station and about a 15-minute walk from the Forest Park sign gate.
The decoration of the hotel is antique and very distinctive. The front desk of the hotel is very welcoming and specially arranged a room with wall paintings. A very good stay experience, I will choose their home next time I come here.
