"The Japanese-style garden is very unique. The private bath and meals are also quite satisfactory. The cats and dogs are so cute. The distance from the bus station and the train station is also satisfactory. It is within walking distance. It is just the room of the B&B. Em... I can only say that I still prefer hotels. Overall, I still give it 5 points and will recommend it to friends"

"I traveled with my parents and my husband. I went there and I have something to refer to, so I will leave a article !!!! ㅠㅠ 1. First of all, if you book a Japanese style, it is a tatami room without a bed, and you have to sleep on the floor with a blank. You have to book in Western style to have a bed. (Western style is narrow, so it is difficult to open two large carriers. Oh, and my parents were sleeping in a Japanese style room, and they said they caught about 3 ants ...) 2. The service to take you to the station is only available at 10 am. < - I was sorry that it was not in the explanation separately .. I asked if it was around 8 a.m., the staff called the taxi company, but at that time the taxi reservation was full, so I couldn't. So the next day, I dragged my suitcase 2 kilometers and walked. 3. The meal was very good. I felt like I was in a luxury restaurant. The hotel was unfortunate but the meal was ok. Take the Koreans' soda .. ! 4. The staff was friendly. I really appreciated the efforts of the staff, such as calling the taxi company directly at 8 o'clock. Because it's very kind, there's no guide that can only be done at 10 o'clock. I can't get angry. ㅠㅠ 5. The hot spring bath was good, but it is not attached to each room and there are 4 in total! You can lock the door inside and change the sign while you are using it. ----------------- Arrangement: Friendly staff, very good meals, public hot springs but good, distance stops (1.9km to the station), service to take you only 10 am, but there is no guide."

"This is a newly opened hotel before the epidemic. I have always wanted to go there, and I finally went this time. The overall evaluation is OK, but because we are lazy, we chose to stay for three nights, and it was really boring on the last day. The scenery is still worth checking in, but the food is really no advantage compared to Japanese hot spring hotels, and the breakfast set meal also feels completely insufficient. And because it has to be different every day, it was OK on the second day, but it was completely unacceptable on the third day. So it is still recommended to go, but staying for one night or at most two nights is enough."

"The waiter at the hot spring hotel is very attentive. After arriving at the hotel, the waiter will lead you to the room where you are staying. The waiter will explain the hotel facilities in detail, including the opening hours of the outdoor hot spring, meal arrangements, etc. Bob, the waiter who received us, spoke very fluent English, was attentive to arrangements, and had a friendly smile, which made people feel very relaxed and natural. The waiters here understand Mandarin and have no problem communicating. The room I booked this time is equipped with an independent bath, which is semi-open-air. You can see the outdoor scenery. The water quality and temperature are very good, and it feels very good. In addition to enjoying the hot spring in my room, I also soaked in the public hot spring in the hotel. There is an outdoor and an indoor hot spring. There are time limits. Although the hot spring is not too big and can accommodate 6 people each, there was no one during the time I soaked. Maybe Let’s all enjoy the bath in the room. However, I recommend that you book a room with an independent hot spring bath, because you can soak in the hot spring at any time. There are not many rooms here, and they are highly private, so you can enjoy a peaceful a**osphere. I booked a stay with two meals. This meal is mainly fish. In addition to raw fish and grilled fish, friends who like to eat fish should not miss it."

"Location - A bit far away from the Yufuin JR station, driving is recommended. Within walking distance of Kinrinko and Stained Glass Museum is a plus. Cleanliness - Clean room and common bath area. Service - Per booking confirmation check-in time is 1500-1900. Front desk staff was already gone when I arrived at around 1815. Took longer then expected for doing self check-in as the reservation number I have is different from what it is in the system, and the staff over phone barely speaks English so I have to use my broken Japanese to communicate. Facilities - Cannot ask for more for such a price. Free bicycle rental service is great for non-driving guess to travel around Yufuin."

"One of the most favorite hotels in Kyushu, Yufuin is really small. You can walk to the hotel in less than ten minutes from the station to the hotel. The scenery is beautiful along the way! It is 6 square meters. Actually, it feels quite big. The service of the old lady is very good. Although the language is not clear, she can also feel her enthusiasm! The uncle in the shop even made a gesture of adding English and Japanese to book us a private soup for the evening! Enjoyed two different private soups in the evening and the next morning. After checking out, it’s great to walk around the area! If you come again, I will choose to live here!"

GGuest UserWe took the train from Beppu to Yufuin, and saw beautiful scenery along the way. Yufuin is like a fairy tale world. I was surprised when I got the room at the hotel. It was so big, surrounded by green plants, private and quiet. The small villa was very clean. The most comfortable thing was to walk around the room barefoot. There were two hot spring pools, one indoor and one outdoor. Soaking in the warm soup washed away the fatigue from the journey. There was also Kaiseki cuisine here in the evening. I had a delicious meal. It was really comfortable and relaxing. This is the feeling of vacation.

SSerena_세레나I was looking for a place with good value for money and accessibility in Kyoto because I was attracted to ryokans! It is a place near Kirin Lake, so it is close to Yufuin Street. The location is perfect! It was about 10-15 minutes walk from the bus terminal and Yufuin Station. I was alone, but I went there cheaply because there was a special price. There seemed to be many families, and I didn't make a reservation, so I used it at 16:30, which is ambiguous about using the private bath. I was originally staying in Yufuin for 2 nights, and it was the last day, so I went right at check-in time and spent the day at the accommodation. I enjoyed the private bath and the large bath, and it was so great! It was December 9/10, but it wasn't cold to wash outside (it could be the heat of the hot spring, but it varies from person to person.) You can enjoy the private bath in the morning, but I finished the morning with the large bath! The kaiseki and breakfast were great! I also thought it would be better if I brought my parents. I don't know if the staff is Korean, but there was someone who could speak Korean, so I had a very comfortable trip!! You should definitely visit.

GGuest UserThe staff members were all very friendly and welcoming. The hotel overall was very cozy, particularly the onsens. Although all the four onsens were opened for all guests at the hotel, you can use one of them as long as you want because guests are instructed to hang a sign on the onsen to show that it is currently occupied. This is a great way for the guests to enjoy privacy to themselves, although it is opened publicly. Dinner and breakfast was included in the package so we did not have to worry about finding nearby restaurants. The food was delicious here! Would definitely recommend if you enjoy traditional Japanese meals to get the full experience. We had a private barbecue for dinner, and it was truly immaculate! However, there was smoke all over the hotel lobby coming from the barbecue so it would have been better if they kept the windows opened. It was also indoors so it was slightly overwhelming with all the smoke everywhere in the restaurant. But everything else was on point and breakfast was particularly delicious.

KKatjaMake this the place to stay when you’re in Yufuin! We didn’t expect our room to be so spacious (think of it more as you private little house on the premises) and beautiful, and the service was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond for us and helped us with whatever question we had (and even helped us call tourist information centers). The staff member that served us our dinner was especially great! The food was equally amazing. The location is not far from the city although we recommend to come by car as it’s a bit of a walk from the station and up the hill. However even that walk would be worth it. Would definitely book again next time I plan on staying in this area!

Ttravel_jkI personally think the location is very good, without the noise of the tourist area. It's only a 5-10 minute walk to Jinlin Lake or the shopping street. The service can be said to be first-class. In Japan, it is rare for staff to take passengers to the room or even introduce each area and facility, but here we do it! They can speak English so foreign tourists are taken care of. The most worthwhile thing is that each room has a private bath (not sure if it is hot spring water), or you can go to the shared hot spring and enjoy it as long as no other guests are using it. Overall, it was a very satisfying experience and the hotel was very comfortable. If you're celebrating a holiday or anniversary, I think it's worth a splurge.

SSame Raksa DangIt sounds like you had an amazing experience at that hostel! Here's a slightly polished version of your review: If you're looking for a budget-friendly hostel with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, this is the place to be. The owner couple is incredibly friendly and makes you feel at home right away. I was greeted by a new roommate and the owner even took us on a night tour to Kinrin Lake and Floral Village, which was such a lovely surprise. The breakfast is absolutely delicious, and the couple’s romantic gesture of singing a beautiful thank-you song before you leave just adds a special touch. Their voices are stunning, and it truly makes you want to return

SSpirit_stoneVery nice well kept traditional ryokan. If you are expecting modern do not stay here. Hotels like these are older and have been around for many years but are well maintained. I love sleeping on tatami - I slept for 10 hours! Unfortunately I felt a bit dumbfounded when the dinner included is just ramen. On the trip.com photos there are two photos of meals and I assumed one was dinner and the other breakfast. Maybe this use to be the case but trip/ the hotel should specify better what is being served. Especially in small towns there aren’t many dinner options - there is an Aeon (supermarket) a short walk of course if you’d like a bento dinner instead. Also no wifi in the room. As an international traveler I had to up my esim data for the day. They don’t advertise wifi in the room - they have it in the lobby so it wouldn’t be hard to get an extender to the rooms. The onsen was nice however I found the outside onsen made a lot of noise- I’ve been to many onsen and this was the first that ever made noise from the filter so it wasn’t as relaxing as it could have been. Overall decent stay but probably wouldn’t go back

GGuest UserThere is a super sumptuous breakfast and dinner every day, and the service is also super good. The hotel has a great atmosphere, the floor heating is fully turned on, and there are free eggs, beer, and tea, but the dinner is so full that I can hardly eat it. The room also has everything, including a Nespresso coffee machine, a Dyson hairdryer, and some bottled lotions. The public hot springs are open 24 hours a day, so they are often reserved. They took a photo for us before dinner on the first night, posted it and gave it to us. On the last day, we misjudged the train time and almost missed the train. The front desk of the hotel helped us get a taxi, which arrived in less than ten seconds. It was so fast.

AAnonymous UserThe accommodation is beautiful, the surrounding atmosphere is good, and there is an onsen hot spring to soak in. The food is delicious. **But what I am not very impressed with is the control of other service providers. Mostly, 99% on the day I stayed were Koreans who were not very polite. They did not know even the etiquette and rules of using the public hot spring. I am not sure if the owner of the accommodation has informed the rules of using the hot spring, which is something I cannot accept. They were loud, threw the earbuds on the floor, and were not orderly. They also wore shoes in the common area of the dressing room in the hot spring. I was very disappointed. It was a rather disappointing vacation, even though it should have been a good day for me. I lost the mood to soak in the atmosphere. I did not even have the heart to take pictures of the atmosphere with the accommodation.
