We arrive at Pension Yufuin late(6pm). Hotel is 800meter walk from JR station which is a pleasant walk. Small hotel with owner looking after the place. We enjoyed our stay a lot. It’s a small hotel with 2 indoor onsen, 1 outdoor onsen which is incredible. Room are small but comfortable. Will definitely comeback.

The owner is so good. There are two private onsen bath rooms. also outdoor onsen.

I stayed a night in Yufuin.
The ryokan allowed experiences for both open air and private hot bath. It was my first bath experience in Japan. The baths were very comfortable. The rooms and dining area was beautifully decorated like a cottage.
Thank you very much to the Pension Yufuin manager (I'm sorry I forgot to ask for a name). The place was very clean and the reception was so kind. I enjoyed my stay.

There is a private onsen. In front of the accommodation is a river with beautiful flowers and mountains. The owner of the house is kind and lovely.
