Nice Onsen Stay in Yufuin with Comfortable room with great location to explore the lake and the walking street. The private onsen choices are great as well. The breakfast is good with friendly staff to support along the stay.

There were different bath experiences available. The accommodation was has a traditional and homely feel, and cosy and quiet.

A family-run Japanese hot spring hotel, with few houses and a large open courtyard. It is located in a quiet place in the bustling city, very close to Jinlin Lake. It is particularly quiet at night. When you go out during the day, you will be surrounded by the lively Tangping Street, with various specialty shops everywhere. Although Jinlin Lake is not big, it is very distinctive. There are schools of blue fish in the lake, which are like elves. It looks magical and healing. This hot spring is great. The hotel has only eight rooms, and there are also eight independent indoor hot spring baths of various colors, so you can take a private bath at any time. You can get the key at the front desk at any time for one hour each time. There is also a relatively large open-air bath for men and women, and the hot spring water quality feels very good. The breakfast is a Japanese set meal, which is exquisite and beautiful, and the rice is full. The uncle at the front desk and the sister and aunt who serve can speak simple English, and there is no problem with basic communication. The town is relatively quiet at night. Most shops will close at 17:30. There is a relatively large supermarket but it closes at 7 o'clock. I didn't order dinner at the hotel. You can still find some restaurants in the alleys on the side of the hot spring street. There are not many open doors. There is always 711, which can also solve dinner in an emergency. There is a hand-made soba noodle shop right in front of the hotel. It tastes pure and authentic. It is closed at night so you must go there at noon. The taste and style of the food match the style of this hot spring hotel very well.

The private bath was very nice, and the dinner and breakfast were especially clean - my mom really liked it. It was comfortable because the owner spoke a little English. It's close to the lake, so accessibility is good. Thanks to you, I had a really comfortable trip.

I experienced a tatami room in the form of a traditional Japanese house. They cleaned it so well that the old trees are shiny and slippery. There is a private open-air bath attached to the accommodation, so I enjoyed the hot spring without worrying about time. The elderly couple owners were friendly and the dinner (they said they brought it in from a nearby restaurant) and breakfast were clean. It's right next to Kinrinko Lake, so it's nice to go around the lake in the morning and look around. It was difficult to move with a suitcase because it was far from the bus terminal. The hot springs are good, the lodging costs are cheaper than other places, and you can feel the atmosphere of Japan. I will stay here next time I go.

Because it was located in a quiet place, I felt a quiet rural atmosphere. However, we wanted to reserve a place with a private bath on the first floor. They said it was already full..! Oh my gosh,, An open-air bath that can be reserved for 1 hour and used privately. I made a reservation at night and used it, so there was actually no inconvenience! Also, we all go to the shared public bath early in the morning. Since it was just my family, it was also unintentionally private. As expected from Yufuin, the hot spring water was very good and neat and clean. Even when checking out, the owner greeted me kindly. Even if Jim Carrey is carried to the first floor just like the first time... I'm really touched in many ways,,,🥹 There are many ryokans in Yufuin, but this is a really great ryokan for the price. Next time I visit again, I want to experience the first floor as well. I'm planning to re-book ㅜㅠㅠ It was such a friendly experience,, And there is a soba restaurant with the same name right next to the bathhouse. It looks like they only sell lunch, but this place is also really good and there is a long wait, which is a shame since it is located right next door. 🤭

The landlady is very kind, and the boss is also very enthusiastic. The taxi we originally booked could not pick up the taxi, but the boss was very enthusiastic about picking up and dropping off, which is touching. The only drawback is that there is no bathroom in the room. Maybe we didn't notice it when we made the reservation. For us who stayed for 3 nights in a row, It's really not convenient.

It's so quiet. It's like going to a Japanese B&B. There is a hot spring, but you have to rent a car. It's about the same as a Jr. Station. I estimate it will take 20 minutes to get there. The staff are friendly and the price is right. It's just that you don't have to take a shower. It's a traditional hotel with a sense of security.

Parking is free at the hotel. The check-in staff was cold and expressionless. There are many insects and flying ants in the bathroom, and the hygiene is average. Booked a room and booked a room and two meals. Dinner was eaten in my room at 19:30. It was very ordinary Japanese chicken rice and not filling enough. It takes 3 minutes to drive to a convenience store outside to buy cup noodles, which is pitiful. Breakfast is eaten in the hotel, only at 0830 or 0900am, which is very unpleasant. Check-out time is 10am. The staff's attitude is very compact. They call the room or knock on the door every five minutes to ask me to check out. They are impersonal. As soon as the door is opened, there are staff waiting with a straight face and looking at the clock. It doesn't feel like home at all. Who said Japanese people are polite? There is no place in the room worth checking in at all, a waste of money. Would not stay here again or recommend to friends.

The tatami room has a slight musty smell, but the service attitude is very good, the hot springs and breakfast are also great, the yukata is very nice, and there is a fresh milk vending machine in the restaurant

This hot spring hotel is very close to Jinlin Lake ⛩️, and there is a delicious [Kama Fanxin] restaurant nearby 😋. I like its tranquility and cleanliness. I enjoyed the open-air family bath at night, and my daughter was very happy. In the morning, I also enjoyed the public open-air bath exclusively! We didn't order one stay and two meals, so we had to eat less dinner early, because many restaurants in the hot spring area will close from 5 to 6 o'clock.
