Very nice hotel that highly recommend. Very good location, closed to main shoppping street and 金鱗湖but quiet. We stayed in the room with private hot spring which is super good. The convenient store is just 1 min walk away. Surely will stay here if visit 油布院again.

A B&B hot spring hotel in Yufuin has two private baths available. It is very close to the shopping street and Jinlin Lake, and it is very convenient for travel. I saw in the comments from netizens that there is a 306 bus that can take you directly from the JR station to the roadside 100 meters from the back door of the hotel. I searched for a long time but couldn't find it. It turns out that it goes straight in front of the JR station for about approx. There is a bus transfer station 100 meters away. Take bus No. 36 (to and from Beppu) and get off at Takemoto Station. You can enter from behind the hotel, which is very convenient.

It is the best location if you follow the street all the way.
There is no separate bathroom,
so if possible, it would be better to get a room with an open-air bath to be satisfied.
You can walk to the lake, tourist street, and 'Sim', famous for its idle pot rice, within a short distance.
The town is not that big, but it is so cute that you lose track of time. Then,
when it gets dark around 6 o'clock, all the surrounding shops close. Instead, they open early in the morning (around 8 o'clock)
and because it gets dark early,
you can see the spectacular view of the dark night filled with stars around 8 or 9 o'clock.
It may be covered by clouds and water vapor, so it is not possible to see it all night.
It is too bad to stay for one night.
If the price doesn't go up too much, I think I will visit this place again as a satisfactory accommodation.

You can take a bus at Yufuin Station and get off opposite the hotel. It is also very convenient to go to Beppu, just near Lake Kinrin. There are two hot springs in the hotel that are very clean and they are both private hot spring baths.

It's a good bath. Unfortunately, there are only two hot spring baths. During the busy time in the evening (8-9 o'clock), I saw at least ten couples waiting for the bath. If I take half an hour per couple, it will take 5-6 hours to finish. But the location is really good to go to Jinlin Lake. It's very convenient, but I was lonely when it rained

The parking lot is spacious and clean, and the ceiling height is high so it doesn't feel stuffy, which is nice. There are only two hot springs, so it's crowded, but it's clean.
