A British-style Victorian building with a convenient location, a 10-minute walk to the old town, and parking is available in the courtyard; the rooms are newly renovated, clean, warm, and very stylish, with advanced facilities, equipped with electric curtains/instantaneous showers and bathtubs; the smart APP can be clicked meals, adjust room temperature, etc. The daily freshly prepared breakfast is rich and delicious, and you can use the coffee machine for self-service. Staff Tony/Dianna are polite and attentive. Perfect guest house, highly recommended

What a fantastic hotel! We stay in York at least twice a year. Never come across this hotel and booked last minute and my goodness what a find! Everything was exceptional. The level of detail throughout the room was fantastic. Spotlessly clean Staff so lovely Breakfast absolutely fantastic. We've already agreed we are coming back so we can experience the other themed rooms so glad we found you guys!

Beautiful boutique guest house, that puts some hotel chains to shame as it's so clean. The Comfy bed and pillows ensure a perfect sleep. Nice complimentary tray for tea and coffee, with soft drinks in room fridge also. Full English breakfast was delicious too and certainly not greasy as some fry ups are. Car parking spaces available. A good gentle 20 minutes stroll to city centre. 10/10 will return.

Room was comfortable and clean, but needed a couple of bits of TLC. Thermostat in room or the app didn’t work to reduce heat, but to be fair, we didn’t reach out to solve, as only there one night. Nice touch having fresh milk in the fridge, with cold drinks and chocolate, but maybe put a zero option for drinks in fridge for anyone diabetic. Could also help yourself to proper coffee, hot chocolate etc. Breakfast was really nice, with lots of options. The poached egg was perfect, for a fussy poached egg eater. Tony was friendly and informative and we will definitely stay again in the future.

We stayed in the Samurai room, with it's gorgeous sunken bath. Tony and Dianna couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. From the moment we arrived they made us both feel so at home. The breakfast was superb, you certainly need a walk into town afterwards! We both said we we would stay here again. Highly recommend. Thank you and a very well deserved break for you both, Merry Christmas , Kaye and Peri x

Absolutely Fantastic Stay we were greeted by the owner who gave us our room cards and he explained to us about how to get around in York I was there with a Couple of friends The Rooms Were Spotless and Very well Maintained you wanted for Nothing in the Room….Ironing Board Fridge with Milk Water Chocolate and Soft Drinks The Bathroom was very good with a walk in Shower Very Comfortable Bed with a TV….Bathroom had underfloor heating……Kettle with Coffee and Tea….A Good Car Park for Residents was a Bonus……We stopped just one night as we had come for the Christmas Market…..Easy walk into town….. Breakfast was Pre Ordered on the App With Fruit Yogurts and Musli and Orange Juice…..The Cooked Breakfast was of a very high Standard with Toast on the side……The was a Coffee machine to help your self….. I could not find one fault this is a very well run Guest House Highly Recommended

We liked the quirky unique experience of the rooms and the attention to detail of our hosts especially at breakfast when our food was served to us at the table. We cannot fault the accommodation and the hosts made our stay extremely pleasant.

Tower Guest House was fantastic. The room and facilities were as described and very good value. The weather was very cold but our room was so cosy and warm. There is plenty of choice for breakfast, and the quality is excellent. It is close enough to York City centre to walk to, and the onsite free parking meant that we didn't need to move the car our entire stay. We would definitely stay again.
