Absolutely beautiful hotel in a great location, 5 minute walk from the city. Inside the hotel is amazing and quite grand. We choose a garden view room which was a bit small but the view was amazing, all the way to the minster. Breakfast can get a bit busy as the area is small but it was nice.
The spa was lovely but again small and can get busy.
Overall a beautiful hotel in an ideal location.

Great beautiful hotel in the Heart of York with direct access to the train station. The bar staff are nice and we were treated with an upgrade by the wonderful lobby staff. Highly recommend.

The hotel atmosphere is classy, we able to take time to enjoy the fitness facilities, small but they have everything we needed. The staffs are very helpful, food and everything are great values. The only things we want to complain is the switches, need time to play with them!

Great stay, superbly located for a weekend in York. Upgraded our room after the first night from accessible double to superior twin (no doubles available) which was well worth it.

Stayed here for 1 night to watch a show at the Barbican, the hotel overall is great showing some signs of wear and tear but you can see this is being worked on. All main communal area looked great and well presented. We stayed in a basic double but there was more than adequate room for our stay and the cleanliness in the room was great. Bathroom again was small but very clean and usable with an amazing rain shower. Reception staff, housekeepers and Measure facilities staff were all very pleasant and wanting to give a good experience.
The only area that I believe needs improvement sooner rather than later is the stair carpet from the car park into reception which doe not give the best impression of what you are going to find inside as it appears very dirty and worn.
Would highly recommend, once past reception steps you will find the Milner Hotel fantastic
