New West Street International Grand Rezen Hetel Reviews

The hotel looked good, but thats about it. The rooms looked good as well, but you couldn't change the warmth of the shower. And a boiling hot shower when its more than 30 degrees outside isn't optimal. This hotel advertises itself with its swimming pool. We arrived there in the middle of the summer, beginning of july, with a temperature above 30 degrees. And guess what? They told us the pool wasn't open, which was the entire reason we booked this hotel. Around the hotel there is also nothing to do, as its quite on the edge of the city. So going somewhere with taxi is the only option. Furthermore the gym: there were three working cardio devices (and a broken airconditioning), and there was one single device for arms, chest and back. One device with multiple ways to use it, but most of them were broken, the others were awkward. So in short, I wouldn't recommend this hotel

It was fine. Breakfast was not what was told to us but I found cute cafes that I could eat breakfast at. Besides that everything else was fine.

The hotel is great for it price. Clean, a lot of amenities in the room. Room is spacious and comfortable. The furniture is little tired already. But still good. The breakfast is Chinese, coffee just 3 in 1. Amazing swimming pool. 10 mins walking to the West street. Can ask the agency in the lobby for booking tickets to the sightseeing or rent a bike.

Address - New West Street International Hotel is located in Yangshuo close to West Street. You can rent an electric scooter 🛵 at the reception for 50 yuan per day with a 200 yuan deposit which you will get back if you bring it back in the same condition. Ambiance/Facilities - This is a very fancy looking hotel. From the lobby to the bedroom. I was very impressed. They have a wonderful pool and kiddie pool 🏊🏽‍♀️, gym, laundry .etc. Highlights - Definitely the pool 🏊🏽‍♀️ The breakfast was good but mostly Chinese cuisine with a little Western sprinkled in.

Not too bad, but definitely not a 5 star hotel as advertised.

This hotel is very old and the furniture stye is very dated but it was clean. The ladies who came to clean the room with sometimes just come in or bang on the door early in the morning even though you have the red do not disturb sign on. On the plus side the hotel was very cheap.

The hotel is located conveniently with a shuttle bus to West Street. It is very clean and the front desk is very helpful (no English). Comfortable beds. Wonderful pool. Overall, a great place to sleep after a long day of adventures.

The hotel's in a great place. The rooms are clean and the staff are friendly. What we can't wait to get back to is a huge clean pool in beautiful countryside. Ideal for rest and enjoyment! 🤗🤗🤗

The hotel has a very useful shuttle bus which brings you to West Street. Unfortunately the bus doesn’t return very late so you will need to get a taxi back if you want to stay out. The outdoor pool is great, we had lots of fun in it. Hotel rooms are quite smelly and not very clean. It’s clearly an old hotel and I guess you get what you pay for.

Great for the pool which gets sun most of the day but there are no loungers / beds! It’s is clean & well maintained though. Not badly located and rooms very clean, tidy & comfortable but very basic & Chinese. Liked the balcony. Plenty of restaurants nearby & only 20-30 minutes walk to West Street. Breakfast is a good spread but Chinese. They do have eggs & toast & fruit though for those looking for something more Western & salad bar with basics (lettuce, cucumber, tomato Etc). Great value for money if you’re in town to sightsee & not hanging around in the room & want some sun & a pool to cool off at the end of the day or chill before heading out. It referenced a “gym” but this was a closed carpeted room with 1 or 2 pieces of equipment which didn’t seem to be in use. The road it’s located on is very busy & traffic can be heavy so walk to e some that where you can. Staff are friendly & helpful but only speak Chinese.

The swimming pool is the best asset of this hotel.

The overall experience was great. I left my car at the dock, and the staff took me a long way to drive on their own electric bike. The service was very good. The environment is very good, the hotel facilities are complete, the rooms are clean and tidy, the front desk staff are highly qualified, very proactive and enthusiastic, the breakfast is also very good with rich varieties, and the price-performance ratio is very high

The service was very thoughtful. Because I was traveling with a baby, I contacted the front desk in advance. I needed more sets of toiletries and quilts. When I checked in, I was informed and my room type was upgraded. Thank you 🙏 for the store's attentive service. The best thing about this hotel is that there is a children's playground. The children play here in their free time and have fun. Because it happened to be National Day when we checked in, they also gave each child a red flag and stickers, which was very thoughtful❤️
