If you plan to do sunrise visit to the Xiangggongshan viewpoint, then the location is perfect. A short 2-minute walk to viewpoint stairway entrance. Less crowded Damianshan is also not too far away.
Owners are very friendly and helpful. Also helped to arrange transportation, since the hotel is not close to Xingping or Yangshuo. Meal options at the on-site restaurant are good.
We upgraded to best room to avoid having a room with a squat toilet.
