The hotel requires a drive all the way up the hill. Hence, it's not recommended if you are not driving.
Onsen and private baths are the best highlights for this hotel, otherwise the food options were very pricey.
Stayed in a premium twin room and they placed a lamp right next to the mirror door which we accidentally hit and broke it while using the mirror. The hotel wanted to charged 20,000 yen for the accidental damage but we negotiated for a lower fee. Thankfully they accepted in view that we were sincere about paying but not an exorbitant pricing.
Cautious to anyone staying here to look out for breakable furnishing in the room.
The hotel location is remote. Dinner had to be pre-booked which we were not aware of, and told was full when we checked in. Front desk staff was helpful and helped us find a local restaurant for specialty Unagi meal. We drove about an hour & half round trip for dinner. The onsen is clean, has outdoor and indoor. In my opinion, room is overpriced given its remote location.
The location of the hotel is relatively remote, but it is no problem if you travel by car.
The design and decoration of the hotel are very fashionable, clean and tidy, the surrounding environment is quiet, and you can see deer, kittens, etc. The hotel has two private hot springs for bathing. You can use it by making an appointment with the staff. The basic ladies' toiletries are all available, and the hair dryer is from Dyson✨
The hotel staff were very helpful and patient. I had a problem with my car when I was traveling by car. I needed to call the local police and get a report for insurance compensation. Thanks to the staff who always helped me communicate in Japanese, it made things a lot easier and saved me a lot of worry. 👍All the staff are very helpful. Although I only stayed for one night, I felt very comfortable.
I highly recommend this hotel. Although Lake Kawaguchi is more popular, Lake Yamanaka is also good. It is close to Shiratorihama and you can have close contact with many swans😆

The hotel is adjacent to Lake Yamanaka, and there are direct buses from Shinjuku and Gotemba. Each room is a trailer, and some rooms face Mount Fuji. Although it is partially blocked, the overall environment is very good, with a bathtub, a sauna, and firewood and charcoal for barbecue, which is a great experience.
This hotel is completely self-service, including check-in procedures. You check in at the machine by filling in the 6-digit number obtained by the reservation, and then the machine will tell you the designated room and door lock password. I booked it on Ctrip Business Travel, but the order did not give me this 6-digit number, so I couldn't check in on site. Later, I called the hotel and communicated for a long time. The hotel sent a guy to help me complete the check-in. It is recommended that Ctrip report this problem to the supplier and solve it.
We stayed here for a short time and enjoyed the best moments in the mountains and lakes, and Mount Fuji was beautiful anytime in the morning, afternoon and evening. The private soup opportunity provided is also very good, and you can go to the terrace to see the stars at night.
The tatami room is also much larger than the hotel in the city. The room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was delicious. There are also many restaurants around.
Like its name, we just got here with a lot of wild fawns :)
Good value for money, the room is simple, clean and tidy, the surrounding environment is very beautiful, the location is equivalent to a villa complex in the suburbs of China, there are few people and it is quiet, it is very suitable for people who like to travel on two legs and families who drive here. The hostess is great, she answered all my questions and taught me how to sort garbage. I stayed there for one night and then climbed Mount Fuji. I climbed to the top on my birthday and came back to stay. I came down the mountain to catch the bus very late and didn’t have time to eat. My feet couldn’t walk anymore. The hostess saw that I was alone and helped me cook a bowl of birthday longevity noodles in the middle of the night. It was so warm. By the way, I like the layout of the public area! (Attached is the original photo)
Very comfortable and spacious place. Recommend.
The landlord is friendly. He showed the flexibility and delivered my breakfast in advance in the night, which enabled me to depart to the Fuji mountain for a long distance and time consuming trail early in the next morning.

ZZhajikuangKIMKAIINPicture 1 is breakfast. We ordered breakfast, which was delicious.
Picture 2 and Picture 3 are the sunset of Mount Fuji at the entrance of the hotel. Very beautiful.
Hygiene: The room is clean and tidy
Environment: The environment is quiet, and the front desk is very warm. It was cold when we went there, and the air conditioner was turned on in advance. It was very warm.
You can see Yamanaka Lake and Mount Fuji directly. It is very close to the Hiranohama.
Service: The service is very good and thoughtful. As soon as we arrived at the hotel, someone came out to help with the luggage and wiped the luggage. It was very clean. And helped to carry it upstairs.
Facilities: We booked a quadruple room in the main building, which has a shower and a separate toilet.
GGuest UserI really want to praise this store. It is definitely right to stay here when you come to Yamanakako. The boss and the staff are very enthusiastic and polite. The environment of the whole hotel is very comfortable and clean. It is a warm Japanese style. The room space is also quite large. The key point is that there is a free hot spring on the first floor♨️. The hotel is very close to Yamanakako. You can also rent bicycles🚲… The transportation near the hotel is also very convenient. There are direct buses to Kawaguchiko and Shinjuku. There were some small incidents yesterday. We rented bicycles from the hotel to travel around Yamanakako. Unexpectedly, the tire at the back was punctured. The hardworking brother came all the way to change a car for us. Thank you🙏👍. Today we are returning to downtown Tokyo. It has been raining in the morning. The boss also carefully arranged for the brother to take us to the station to take the bus. Thank you🙏👍. I will choose to stay here next time I come to Yamanakako.
LLuvidGreat location for a Fuji view + nearby cafe The Park was a phenomenal experience. Definitely enjoyed the next door combini aswell. However do not like the group requirement to eat at the restaurant and lack of microwave in the rooms. Still highly recommend.
SSMO32Booked last minute the night before. Great price and location. Low price was the main reason for booking. The shock and big surprise was the 11 out of 10 service and TLC I got from the owner Marie. I stayed in a room with its own bath shower toilet. Best customer careI have ever had even compared to a high end hotel for $200 a night. Yes you read that right. Something about these smaller hotels and the quality of service can't be matched. Very clean and very cute stay for exploring the Fuji mountain area. She speaks Chinese, Japanese and some English. And an amazing cook. Wow I was thankful I chose to eat at the hotel and not out somewhere else. My Bed was also very comfortable. Great sleep. It was More comfortable than the Disney Hilton Tokyo bay for $200 a night. Terrible beds.
GGuest UserWe had the opportunity to stay at Fuji International Hotel for a night before our family holiday ended & I must say that this was actually the highlight of the trip with the warmest of hosts!
The hosts went above and beyond to provide a comfortable stay for all their guests, even entertaining through the night.
Added another key memory for our Lake Yamanaka stopover. Not to mention brilliant views & spacious accommodation 🤗
GGuest UserThe best location to see Mount Fuji. Rooms 102 and 101 are facing Mount Fuji. The living room and dining room are downstairs, and there are two rooms upstairs. Although there are five beds that can accommodate 10 people, one bed is in the attic, which is very inconvenient. There is only one bathroom on the second floor, so it is best for 4 people. However, the view from the room is so good that the 5 of us were very happy to stay there. The hygiene is good and the facilities are very complete. The surrounding area is relatively deserted, and there are convenience stores and small restaurants about a 10-minute walk away.
JJX SohLovely view of mount Fuji everyday. Room is huge with ample walking space. Bathroom and toilet is separated space
There is a large onsen that you can use everyday, with yukata provided.
Location is along a stretch of road, easily accessible by car. Do note that the car park can get filled up quickly.
6666manfenTake the bus from Shinjuku to Hirano Station and walk for three minutes to the hotel. The actual experience is better than expected. The location is high and clean, facing the lake of Hirano Beach. It is the first choice for those who do not pursue luxury. It has everything you need. There is also a bathing pool, heating in the room, public toilets for washing and bathing, and a simple restaurant and 711 nearby. This hotel provides free bicycles for us to ride. A round trip takes about three hours, but the best view is to ride from Hirano Beach to Nagaike Water Park in an hour. It is very beautiful to ride and see Mount Fuji. It is very close. There is a very beautiful plank road for a round trip. You don’t need to rent a car. The best experience is to ride a bicycle. I got up at six o’clock and saw the pink Mount Fuji. The hotel is managed by an elderly person and there is a family-like son who runs it together. Finally, a suggestion is provided. Slippers can only be worn barefoot with socks. It is easy to slip. The stairs are high and not suitable for the elderly. The price is right and the experience is good. I recommend it. The photos taken after checking out are messy, but it does not affect the experience!
AAnonymous UserI like this place very much. The service is good. It is a Japanese-style hotel. When we arrived on the first day, the grandfather at the front desk carefully used his own handwritten map to tell us how to get to Lake Yamanaka, the station, and nearby restaurants. The hotel also provides breakfast, which seems to be prepared by the grandfather and the workers. It tastes very good! Bathing is a Japanese bathhouse. When I went in, I was the only one using it. It was very comfortable.
It is very close to Lake Yamanaka and the bus station. It takes about 3 minutes to walk to the bus station and about 8 minutes to reach the lake. It is very convenient for tourists who come to the plains to chase the sunrise of Mount Fuji.
In short, it is highly recommended!
海海島王子The property enjoys a great location, surrounded by nature. Lake Yamanaka is about a 5-minute walk away. The bathhouse is a natural hot spring where you can enjoy a relaxing time in the moist and smooth water. The staff are friendly and quick to respond to any requests you may have during your stay. Overall, Qingxi Yamanakako Hotel is a hotel that values coexistence with nature and provides warm accommodation for tourists. The room was large, dinner was included and was traditional Japanese, the food was very good, the tempura was freshly fried and very tasty. The price of accommodation is really affordable, recommended! 👍👍
