"The hotel boasts beautiful surroundings and spotlessly clean rooms. The unobstructed views of Mount Fuji from the window are absolutely stunning – truly unbeatable! They also offer bicycle rentals, which makes getting around incredibly convenient. It's very reasonably priced and offers excellent value for money. Both the owner and the staff are incredibly warm and hospitable. I had a very comfortable and pleasant stay, and I'll definitely be back!"
"Had an amazing time at Godere Hotel celebrating our wedding anniversary. The staff are super kind and respectful. The view from the glamping tent is amazing with a private onsen that overlooks lake Yamanaka and mount fuji. The staff made our experience really smooth and unforgettable and even offered to drive us to the bus stop when they figured we didn’t have a car. Will definitely be back again as soon as we could."
"Cleanliness 10/10
The wet and dry area of the bathroom are separate. Everyday they will clean the room unless you decline the cleaning service.
Location 10/10
The area is secluded, the place is very private. For someone who doesn’t like crowded places and love peace and quiet, this place is for you. Plus it has a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji. It just so sad we only stayed 3days and 2nights, we checked-in late on our first day when Mt. Fuji showed up. We were busy looking for a place to eat since the hotel restaurant was already fully booked for dinner. The next day it rained and Mt. Fuji doesn’t show up until the day we left 😞
I suggest booking early if you want to eat dinner at the hotel since the nearest restaurant is already at the foot of the mountain which is 5-10minutes by car, and around 20-30minutes walk. The hotel provides free shuttle going down until 5:30pm only while until 8:00pm for picking up on yamanakako bus stop. For someone who loves to walk while enjoying the view, it really doesn’t matter but it tends to be dark and might be dangerous to walk at night time since it’s in the mountain side.
Overall, I love the location, you won’t actually want to go out when you are in this resort. It has everything you need except hair conditioner 😅
Service 10/10
The staffs are really friendly and easy to talk with. All our requests were granted except booking dinner on our first night since we arrived late, though, the staff is very helpful to give us recommendations where to eat and helping us to book a shuttle. On the day of our check-out, the staff didn’t understand that we reserved the shuttle later that day to go out on the bus stop, but he immediately resolved it without arguing.
Amenities 10/10
Amenities is complete but we haven’t used that since some of our members have tattoos and cannot use the sauna and onsen. While some of us are reserved and not used to being naked on the open 😂
Anyway, the rooms are spacious and we had a comfortable stay. We would definitely book this hotel again when we want to stay on a place with the view of Mt. Fuji. And we would love to recommend this place to our friends."
"The hotel boasts an excellent location, offering stunning views of Mount Fuji directly from our room. Waking up to enjoy breakfast while watching the sunrise paint Mount Fuji in golden hues was absolutely blissful. During check-in, the front desk staff were incredibly patient, thoroughly explaining the hotel's location and amenities. They even provided us with a charming hand-drawn map. A bike rental shop is conveniently located near the hotel, and cycling around Lake Yamanaka was a truly wonderful experience. There's also a bus stop right outside the hotel, making it incredibly convenient to get to Lake Kawaguchiko."
"This was the hotel where we spent the most nights during our trip to Japan.
First, let me explain why we chose this hotel. We were a group of four on a golf trip near Mount Fuji, and chartering a car in Japan is incredibly expensive. After two days of searching on Xiaohongshu and Ctrip, we stumbled upon this hidden gem. The owner is Chinese and offers a paid shuttle service daily from the hotel to the golf course. This service was incredibly thoughtful and convenient! While it's a paid service, it was a much more affordable and practical option compared to chartering a private car!
Moving on to the service, the owners, a couple, are very genuine and down-to-earth. They sincerely provided dining recommendations, without any hidden agenda. The restaurants they suggested were all excellent value for money (a sushi restaurant and a yakiniku place) – delicious and affordable! They even took us to witness a panoramic sunset over Mount Fuji, which we truly appreciated!
Lastly, regarding the hotel's location and facilities. It's situated at Lake Yamanaka near Mount Fuji, offering a peaceful and natural environment away from the crowds and bustle of Lake Kawaguchiko. It's definitely the top choice for anyone seeking tranquility. The rooms are incredibly spacious (definitely large by Japanese standards, allowing us to fully open our suitcases), perfect for families! The bathroom features a modern wet/dry separation, which is a great touch. The hotel itself is a beautiful traditional Japanese-style building. Right next door is the popular café, Paper Moon. (Unfortunately, due to our early starts and late finishes with golf, we didn't get a chance to try it. We'll definitely make sure to visit next time!) You can see Mount Fuji right from the doorstep, along with graceful swans!
Overall, if you're planning a two-day stay around Mount Fuji, this is absolutely a high-value choice!"
"The villa location is great but there is no Mt Fuji view from villa 104. Remember to book Villa 101 / 102 if you want to have Mt Fuji view from villa. The villa is not so clean as i still can see dust / hair around the villa. Overall I'm fine with this villa due to its great location."

"Location: There is a bus stop at the door (Yamanakako Post Office Station), but if you take a long-distance bus to Yamanakako, the place where you get off is a 15-20 minute walk from the hotel! ! It is not very convenient if you drag a large suitcase. But Yamanakako is right outside the hotel, and Mount Fuji is behind it. There is also a parking lot in the hotel. Overall, it is more suitable for guests who drive themselves, travel light, or have a budget for taking a taxi (ps Yamanakako can only call a local taxi, and the assistance of the front desk is required)
Hotel: The room type is very unique, the sauna room is in the middle of the room, and the balcony window is not big, but you can see the lake or Mount Fuji. The room is very spacious, with a separate shower and bathtub, as well as a large bath and breakfast room. The view of the breakfast room is highly recommended, it is great"
"Stayed in the room with private Onsen in April. The room was very big and facilities were great. We drove here with plans to visit Kawaguchiko and Gotemba, the location was good for us considering our mode of transport. The only issue we had was that the room was very hot. The heater was centralised and we could not adjust the temperature and was advised to open the window to cool the room down. Even though we opened the window, the curtains would limit the air from coming in which made the room feel a little like a sauna at times. I still give this place a big thumbs up but will reconsider coming back here because of the heating issue."

Outstanding
BBeeLTanIf travel by car, this is a nice place to stay. Nice view with Mt Fuji at one side and lake at another side. Not congested. The unit is furnished with all necessary amenities. Great place for families.
We managed to grab something from 7-11 near by for a simple breakfast for everyone before our journey.
The only drawback, we have problem during check in. I didn't receive the email for pre check in and we were trying to do it in a cold dark night but it failed. We ended up have to call an international call to get it settled. It will be better if we can communicate with email or WhatsApp.
TTonyng320The hotel perfectly preserves the architectural style of the Showa era.
The comfortable rooms and baths are a surefire way to relax and unwind.
The room I chose had a view of Mount Fuji.
The room was spacious and comfortable, perfect for solo travelers and couples.
The breakfast was also very generous.
The friendly hostess and aunts greeted me.
This was the most welcoming hotel I've ever stayed in. I'll definitely be back.
BbazingaaheySo lucky to have booked this house! The house is right next to Lake Yamanaka, and you can see the lake through the window. The owner is super super super nice. She drove to the platform to pick us up and finally sent us to the station. The next morning, she got up early and drove us to the lake to watch the sunrise of Mount Fuji. She also found a good angle on the mountain to stop and let us take pictures. The aunt told us about the check-in spots around and lent us her bicycle to go around the lake, which made our experience full. Next time I go to Mount Fuji, I will book the aunt's hotel~ I will also recommend it to my friends who are going to Mount Fuji!
MMaggie ChanThis glamping resort is awesome! My whole family love it so much. It is extremely clean and neat. We stayed here for 2 nights with awesome view of Mt. Fuji.
The portion of dinner is appropriate, you can either grill it (stay indoor) or do it BBQ (outdoor). It is all up to you! With private onsen, kids could play freely.
Will definitely recommend to friends
KKunal5The hotel is Japanese style. The staff is great. It doesn’t provide food services but it has Japanese style breakfast. I would definitely stay here because it’s clean and just opposite to Asahigaoka bus stop. Also, it’s like 1 minute walk to the Yamanako lake. It’s not very overpriced. And plenty of foreigners had reservations in this hotel.
6666manfenTake the bus from Shinjuku to Hirano Station and walk for three minutes to the hotel. The actual experience is better than expected. The location is high and clean, facing the lake of Hirano Beach. It is the first choice for those who do not pursue luxury. It has everything you need. There is also a bathing pool, heating in the room, public toilets for washing and bathing, and a simple restaurant and 711 nearby. This hotel provides free bicycles for us to ride. A round trip takes about three hours, but the best view is to ride from Hirano Beach to Nagaike Water Park in an hour. It is very beautiful to ride and see Mount Fuji. It is very close. There is a very beautiful plank road for a round trip. You don’t need to rent a car. The best experience is to ride a bicycle. I got up at six o’clock and saw the pink Mount Fuji. The hotel is managed by an elderly person and there is a family-like son who runs it together. Finally, a suggestion is provided. Slippers can only be worn barefoot with socks. It is easy to slip. The stairs are high and not suitable for the elderly. The price is right and the experience is good. I recommend it. The photos taken after checking out are messy, but it does not affect the experience!
DDoiiDoiiI checked in a bit late in night around 8pm, there is no staff at the service desk and I have waited for half hour, keep ringing the bell still no staff to assist me for check in. However those staff are nice and explain those facilities to me so I do not bother anymore. Basically the room is clean and big, there is a public bath area which is a whole new experience to me also it was clean and big, but the bath water is extreme hot that I cannot sink in for seconds. Location is ideal where a 10 minutes walk to lake Yamanaka. I was lucky able to see the first snow in the winter season.
GGuest UserThe scenery outside the hotel is very beautiful. There is a Family Mart next to it where you can buy food. The hotel dinner is highly recommended. The boss speaks Chinese and communication is very convenient. Although there is no hotel connection, it is very suitable for self-driving tours. You can park in front of the hotel
LLei Pik KwangThe room did not match the photo I booked. I like the one with two windows, I chose this hotel because of the picture.
It turns out that there are two different room models at the same price. Although we asked to change to the same room model as the one in the picture I booked, and we were the only guests in the entire hotel, the hotel refused to cooperate. It is indeed a bit unhuman.
The bathhouse does not provide yukata. The bathhouse is private by reservation, but it can only be used on the first day. It is not open on the second day. It's a pity that I can't take a bath in the morning in early spring.
The hotel is very new and everything else is very good. The location is quiet and the staff are quite friendly.
It's just a rule, a bit rigid
