"Very clean, good breakfast buffet. Super nice and helpful stuff. But it’s located on top of a hill and you need the shuttle bus and it only runs at 9.45am to go further away and there’s no shuttle bus to come back. Otherwise it runs throughout the day to the bottom of the hill. Taxis and public transport is not good since it’s a small town so plan accordingly ."
"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was exceptionally spacious with a stunning view of Mt. Fuji. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The bathroom was large and well-appointed. I particularly enjoyed the outdoor onsen, which was both relaxing and beautifully maintained. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I would gladly return and highly recommend this hotel to others."

"I took the bus from Kawaguchiko and it was not far to get here after getting off the bus. I felt very stable when I came here, and that night was also the best night of rest in this trip. This is a feeling and experience that commercial hotels can't give you. Of course, this also depends on what you are pursuing. The boss is an old man. Check-in is at 5 pm. If you arrive early, you can put your luggage first and go to see the scenery. The water view and Mount Fuji are right at the door. To quote an online article, ”There are people living deep in the middle of the mountain, and the prosperity is far away from the mountains and water.” It's worth it."
"The hotel is adjacent to Lake Yamanaka, and there are direct buses from Shinjuku and Gotemba. Each room is a trailer, and some rooms face Mount Fuji. Although it is partially blocked, the overall environment is very good, with a bathtub, a sauna, and firewood and charcoal for barbecue, which is a great experience.
This hotel is completely self-service, including check-in procedures. You check in at the machine by filling in the 6-digit number obtained by the reservation, and then the machine will tell you the designated room and door lock password. I booked it on Ctrip Business Travel, but the order did not give me this 6-digit number, so I couldn't check in on site. Later, I called the hotel and communicated for a long time. The hotel sent a guy to help me complete the check-in. It is recommended that Ctrip report this problem to the supplier and solve it."
"The bath temperature was low and it was cold. It was cold, like washing your face in the morning with water from the kitchen outside. I wish there was hot water.... Not even a single thank you when I left."
"The room is oversized and there is a big hot spring ♨️ When the weather is good, you can see Mount Fuji 🗻 The yard is very large and you can barbecue outside! There are many rooms and the kitchen is spacious and bright! High cost performance"

Excellent
吃吃喝玩樂我至叻First luxury camping experience, highly recommended!
Complete facilities, including open-air bath and sauna.
The ingredients for breakfast and dinner are sufficient, but the quality of the meat is average.
We purchased additional ingredients at a nearby supermarket.
Camping in the Martian sky at night is a good experience for children!
In addition, the campground is very close to the famous scenic spot of Lake Yamanaka, and it only takes about ten minutes to drive~
Pay to check in early and enjoy the sunset~
Will come again if I have the chance!
GGuest UserYou can see a convenience store after getting off the bus, buy a lot of discounted food, there is a matcha daifuku which is super delicious!
Follow the navigation and walk a few hundred meters to get there. The owner of the manor speaks Chinese
There is a small garden outside the building, facing Mount Fuji
Change shoes at the entrance. The first floor is the living room, dining room, and a small bathhouse for men and women
We live in a Japanese tatami on the second floor. The environment is very clean and tidy. There is a private bathroom. You need to go downstairs to take a shower; the floor-to-ceiling windows face Mount Fuji, and the scenery outside the window is quite good
The next day, I rented a power bike downstairs to ride around the lake. It costs 160 for 2-5 hours. It takes 2+ hours to walk, stop, take pictures and enjoy the scenery. If we are not in time for the afternoon flight, we will have a more pleasant time
Check out before 10 o'clock. When I left, Mount Fuji was exposed. I returned to Kawaguchiko to see the whole picture.
SSMO32Booked last minute the night before. Great price and location. Low price was the main reason for booking. The shock and big surprise was the 11 out of 10 service and TLC I got from the owner Marie. I stayed in a room with its own bath shower toilet. Best customer careI have ever had even compared to a high end hotel for $200 a night. Yes you read that right. Something about these smaller hotels and the quality of service can't be matched. Very clean and very cute stay for exploring the Fuji mountain area. She speaks Chinese, Japanese and some English. And an amazing cook. Wow I was thankful I chose to eat at the hotel and not out somewhere else. My Bed was also very comfortable. Great sleep. It was More comfortable than the Disney Hilton Tokyo bay for $200 a night. Terrible beds.
GGuest Useradvantage:
1. The transportation is very convenient. It is next to Asahigaoka Station and you can go directly to this hotel from the Shinjuku bus. This helped us a lot in the Mount Fuji scenic area and saved us a lot of time. This is also the ticket office and departure point of the Hippo Bus, so getting on the Hippo Bus was the highlight of the trip. It is very convenient for people carrying large suitcases.
2. It takes about 50 minutes to walk from the hotel to the Hiranohama Beach, so those who want to watch the sunrise in the morning need to have enough physical strength and get up early. But the uncle at the front desk was very nice and introduced us to the electric scooter in their hotel. This was the second highlight of this trip. It is more labor-saving and time-saving than riding a bicycle. We also relied on this small car to discover the hidden breakfast shop ”Nongjia Kafe” on the other side of the river. Eating Japanese breakfast while looking at Mount Fuji is relaxing and comfortable. It only takes 20 minutes to get from the hotel to the plain by scooter. If you don't stop for breakfast or take pictures, it will only take about an hour and a half to go around the lake. Highly recommended! Enjoy the silky smoothness of a secret place with few people! The price is 2,000 yen per hour, which is very reasonable. What’s more worth mentioning is that we arrived at the hotel very late that day, and the uncle at the front desk was very patient in explaining and teaching us how to use the scooter, and even accompanied us to practice in the yard. I was really moved at the time, and it once again proved that the Japanese people in the countryside are very simple and patient! Moreover, this hotel originally opened its doors and began serving at 6 o'clock in the morning, but because we wanted to watch the sunrise and set off at 5 o'clock, this uncle got up early to help us open the door. When we rode away on our bikes, he stood at the door and watched us go away. He was very worried about our driving skills, but fortunately we completed the task smoothly!
shortcoming:
1. You need to make your own bed in the hotel
2. The air conditioner/heater is noisy and too dry
3. Walking or running upstairs will be noisy
4. Daily cleaning service is not provided. You need to tell the front desk specifically to help with cleaning. (But we specifically mentioned it that day and gave the key to the front desk, but they still didn't help us clean)
Summarize:
The convenient transportation and the service of the front desk staff are highly recommended. For those who come here for the first time, you must choose a place with convenient transportation. The accommodation conditions are not that good, but they can fully meet daily needs.
LLuvidGreat location for a Fuji view + nearby cafe The Park was a phenomenal experience. Definitely enjoyed the next door combini aswell. However do not like the group requirement to eat at the restaurant and lack of microwave in the rooms. Still highly recommend.
GGuest UserI took my mother out to play and chose Yamanakako specifically. There were few people and it was quiet to see the red leaves. I stayed for two nights and slept until I woke up naturally. The environment was very good and I could walk out to see the red leaves festival.
The transportation was very convenient. I rented a bicycle from the boss. I rode to Yamanakako on the first day, took the bus to Kawaguchiko at the door on the second day, and continued to ride. On the third day, I rode to Oshino Hakkai. 😃
I was too lazy to go to Gotemba, but it was also very convenient after looking at the map. In the evening, I ate the boss's recommended Shoya and the boss's beef hot pot. The boss's wife was very enthusiastic and honest. Next time I bring my baby here to stay and continue to ride a bike. 😃😃
GGuest UserThe best location to see Mount Fuji. Rooms 102 and 101 are facing Mount Fuji. The living room and dining room are downstairs, and there are two rooms upstairs. Although there are five beds that can accommodate 10 people, one bed is in the attic, which is very inconvenient. There is only one bathroom on the second floor, so it is best for 4 people. However, the view from the room is so good that the 5 of us were very happy to stay there. The hygiene is good and the facilities are very complete. The surrounding area is relatively deserted, and there are convenience stores and small restaurants about a 10-minute walk away.
AAnonymous UserFuji Matsuzono Hotel offers breathtaking views of Mount Fuji and a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the onsen is a relaxing highlight after a day of exploring. With friendly staff and a convenient location near Lake Kawaguchi, it’s ideal for a tranquil getaway.
TTamubonilinzexuHirano Beach is a new and popular tourist spot in Yamanaka Lake. It is convenient to get up early to watch the sunrise. It only takes three minutes to walk from the B&B.
The transportation to the destination is also very convenient. It takes only one minute to walk from the bus stop.
We lived on the second floor. It was indeed a public toilet - it can be understood as the toilet in the previous school, but there was a public bathroom. The space was large enough to take a shower and soak in the pool. It was so comfortable in the cold weather. The men's room was on the second floor and the women's room was on the first floor.
The breakfast was also good. The Japanese are really good at frying hamburger patties. They are juicy and delicious. You can add rice and tea (coffee) by yourself.
The husband and wife and the whole family came to the battle. The wife is very good in English, and the husband is responsible for reception. Because I got burned by my own problem (I will talk about it later), they provided gauze, which I am very grateful for.
Let me talk about the bad places for your reference. First of all, Japanese-style rooms are dark all the time because they seriously violate ergonomics. I have lived in Japanese-style rooms twice in nearly ten years. The first time was in Kyushu. I sprained my waist by taking the teapot on the low table. This time, it was because I was lazy and inconvenient to move because I sat on the floor. When I took the tea from a distance, I accidentally poured the boiling water on the side of my calf. Fortunately, it was not a big deal and I walked 20,000 steps the next day.
Secondly, there is no air conditioning in the room, only a heater. Even if I wear socks on the tatami floor in winter, my feet are still very cold (I went to soak again before going to bed). I can only lean on the side of the heater. I have to turn off the stove when I sleep. One is that there is a smell and the other is that the noise is a bit loud and I am not used to it.
In short, this homestay has more merits than flaws. I have written my real experience in bits and pieces for your reference.
In addition, the sunrise experience at Hirano Beach is really beautiful, see the first and fifth pictures I posted, but it is actually not bad to stay at Shiratori Beach, see Figure 6, it does not prevent you from watching the sunrise and there are swans to accompany you.
6666manfenTake the bus from Shinjuku to Hirano Station and walk for three minutes to the hotel. The actual experience is better than expected. The location is high and clean, facing the lake of Hirano Beach. It is the first choice for those who do not pursue luxury. It has everything you need. There is also a bathing pool, heating in the room, public toilets for washing and bathing, and a simple restaurant and 711 nearby. This hotel provides free bicycles for us to ride. A round trip takes about three hours, but the best view is to ride from Hirano Beach to Nagaike Water Park in an hour. It is very beautiful to ride and see Mount Fuji. It is very close. There is a very beautiful plank road for a round trip. You don’t need to rent a car. The best experience is to ride a bicycle. I got up at six o’clock and saw the pink Mount Fuji. The hotel is managed by an elderly person and there is a family-like son who runs it together. Finally, a suggestion is provided. Slippers can only be worn barefoot with socks. It is easy to slip. The stairs are high and not suitable for the elderly. The price is right and the experience is good. I recommend it. The photos taken after checking out are messy, but it does not affect the experience!
