The room is a five-minute walk from the Hirano Beach of Lake Yamanaka, facing Mount Fuji, which is great, but there are not many restaurants around, so it is suitable to drive there and buy food to cook in the B&B. By the way, choose 101 or 102 to have a direct view of Mount Fuji. Then you need to check in by yourself. If the mobile phone link cannot be done, there is a small house next to room 101 with an iPad to handle it.
Our hotel is conveniently located in Yamanaka Lake, Hirano Station, from which you can reach Tokyo or Kawaguchiko.
Just 300 meters from the famous attraction of Lake Yamanaka, Hirano Hama, where you can play with swans, is a photographer's paradise, where you can take pictures of the reverse Fuji and other beautiful scenery, of course, it is also a good place to watch the sunrise and sunset.
The hotel is surrounded by convenience stores such as 711 and local restaurants.

The room is very Japanese, I like it very much, and it is very quiet at night, which is very suitable for a rest stop during a city transit trip.
The boss is very nice, we can communicate in Chinese, and the local uncle who manages the B&B is also very nice. I was alone that day, and he waited until I came to check in very late.
The room is close to the Yamanakako Plain, and the transportation is relatively convenient. If you go to Tokyo, you can take a bus to Shinjuku here.
Finally, there are three regrets. One is that my phone fell on the way there, and I will not buy a folding screen again😭 (the boss is still very active in providing help)
The second is that the B&B seems to have not found a hair dryer, and the supplies can be placed more prominently☺️
The third is that the restaurant here closes early, but there is an izakaya and 711 next to it.
Very satisfied☺️
We had the opportunity to stay at Fuji International Hotel for a night before our family holiday ended & I must say that this was actually the highlight of the trip with the warmest of hosts!
The hosts went above and beyond to provide a comfortable stay for all their guests, even entertaining through the night.
Added another key memory for our Lake Yamanaka stopover. Not to mention brilliant views & spacious accommodation 🤗

The hotel location is remote. Dinner had to be pre-booked which we were not aware of, and told was full when we checked in. Front desk staff was helpful and helped us find a local restaurant for specialty Unagi meal. We drove about an hour & half round trip for dinner. The onsen is clean, has outdoor and indoor. In my opinion, room is overpriced given its remote location.

The hotel requires a drive all the way up the hill. Hence, it's not recommended if you are not driving.
Onsen and private baths are the best highlights for this hotel, otherwise the food options were very pricey.
Stayed in a premium twin room and they placed a lamp right next to the mirror door which we accidentally hit and broke it while using the mirror. The hotel wanted to charged 20,000 yen for the accidental damage but we negotiated for a lower fee. Thankfully they accepted in view that we were sincere about paying but not an exorbitant pricing.
Cautious to anyone staying here to look out for breakable furnishing in the room.

Very good, beyond expectations! It takes about half an hour to get to Kawaguchiko by bus, and you can get off directly in front of the hotel. The staff is super nice, English communication is barrier-free, and the terrace of the mountain view room faces Mount Fuji, which is very clear. The hotel rents a bicycle and rides to Shiratorihama for about 6-7 minutes. You must go here to see the red Fuji at sunrise! The internet-famous coffee shop is just opposite Shiratorihama. You can also play with swans. I will stay here again next time.

Great location for a Fuji view + nearby cafe The Park was a phenomenal experience. Definitely enjoyed the next door combini aswell. However do not like the group requirement to eat at the restaurant and lack of microwave in the rooms. Still highly recommend.

I really want to praise this store. It is definitely right to stay here when you come to Yamanakako. The boss and the staff are very enthusiastic and polite. The environment of the whole hotel is very comfortable and clean. It is a warm Japanese style. The room space is also quite large. The key point is that there is a free hot spring on the first floor♨️. The hotel is very close to Yamanakako. You can also rent bicycles🚲… The transportation near the hotel is also very convenient. There are direct buses to Kawaguchiko and Shinjuku. There were some small incidents yesterday. We rented bicycles from the hotel to travel around Yamanakako. Unexpectedly, the tire at the back was punctured. The hardworking brother came all the way to change a car for us. Thank you🙏👍. Today we are returning to downtown Tokyo. It has been raining in the morning. The boss also carefully arranged for the brother to take us to the station to take the bus. Thank you🙏👍. I will choose to stay here next time I come to Yamanakako.

First luxury camping experience, highly recommended!
Complete facilities, including open-air bath and sauna.
The ingredients for breakfast and dinner are sufficient, but the quality of the meat is average.
We purchased additional ingredients at a nearby supermarket.
Camping in the Martian sky at night is a good experience for children!
In addition, the campground is very close to the famous scenic spot of Lake Yamanaka, and it only takes about ten minutes to drive~
Pay to check in early and enjoy the sunset~
Will come again if I have the chance!

GGuest UserFacilities: The hotel facilities are very complete! And it is very new, and the details are in place (there are practical items such as hair rope clips in the disposable toiletries set. The tatami room is even equipped with tea sets, etc.)
It is very in line with the expectations of Japanese tatami😭The mattress is very soft and the quilt is also soft. It is very comfortable to sleep. The room is more spacious than expected. Especially the overall atmosphere is very good, with a sense of life
Sanitation: It is very clean everywhere👌🏻Change slippers when entering the door, the sanitation is very good, the room is clean and comfortable without odor
Environment: There are several room types facing Mount Fuji, the windows are large and the view is wide, and you can enjoy the special mood of Mount Fuji in the room
Service: The boss and the staff are very good😭They will provide pick-up and drop-off services as much as possible, and they will also patiently explain the check-in rules. When I left, the boss sent a message to ask about the charging cable, which was really helpfulTT
Finally, it is worth mentioning the breakfast! There are many styles and they are very delicate and beautiful. It is great to be able to see the scenery outside and eat a hot breakfast in the restaurant where the sun shines TT
A very satisfying stay! I hope the hotel will get better and better
SSMO32Booked last minute the night before. Great price and location. Low price was the main reason for booking. The shock and big surprise was the 11 out of 10 service and TLC I got from the owner Marie. I stayed in a room with its own bath shower toilet. Best customer careI have ever had even compared to a high end hotel for $200 a night. Yes you read that right. Something about these smaller hotels and the quality of service can't be matched. Very clean and very cute stay for exploring the Fuji mountain area. She speaks Chinese, Japanese and some English. And an amazing cook. Wow I was thankful I chose to eat at the hotel and not out somewhere else. My Bed was also very comfortable. Great sleep. It was More comfortable than the Disney Hilton Tokyo bay for $200 a night. Terrible beds.
YYaang LiuVery comfortable and spacious place. Recommend.
The landlord is friendly. He showed the flexibility and delivered my breakfast in advance in the night, which enabled me to depart to the Fuji mountain for a long distance and time consuming trail early in the next morning.
MMarco29thvery nice hotel with Japanese style room and breakfast. we've got push bike rent for free and around 6pm they offer hot chocolate and marshmallow skewer to cook in the fire, in the gardenin front of the mt. Fuji. the onsen is pretty good too and rooms are big. I would book it again
GgoodKDI thought it was a shared bathroom, but there was actually a private bathroom in the room.
The room was very big. The boss spoke good English and the boss lady was very energetic.
There was a detailed travel brochure in the house.
There was a heating device in the room, but the noise was a bit loud. Overall, it was comfortable to stay.
The bus station was opposite the hotel. However, the geographical location of Asahigaoka was a bit awkward. It took half an hour to walk to the restaurant gathering area and nearly an hour to walk to the plain to watch the sunrise. The bicycle rental shop nearby was closed on the day I went there. So I walked a lot during the two days I stayed here. (It was hard to wait for the bus). Moreover, the roads here are not like the dedicated trails and cycling trails on the north side of Yamanaka Lake. There is a section of the trail on the south side that is mixed with the motor vehicle lane, which is a bit dangerous.
If you don’t want to walk for dinner, there is a 711 nearby, and there is a izakaya called ”Fujiwara” diagonally opposite, which is also not bad.
SSSLinethegreatJapanese hotel house turn into hotel spacious but you have to walk out to reach the toilet at the middle of the night😁 and there is amazing spa for bath.
Kky917The location of the hotel is relatively remote, but it is no problem if you travel by car.
The design and decoration of the hotel are very fashionable, clean and tidy, the surrounding environment is quiet, and you can see deer, kittens, etc. The hotel has two private hot springs for bathing. You can use it by making an appointment with the staff. The basic ladies' toiletries are all available, and the hair dryer is from Dyson✨
The hotel staff were very helpful and patient. I had a problem with my car when I was traveling by car. I needed to call the local police and get a report for insurance compensation. Thanks to the staff who always helped me communicate in Japanese, it made things a lot easier and saved me a lot of worry. 👍All the staff are very helpful. Although I only stayed for one night, I felt very comfortable.
I highly recommend this hotel. Although Lake Kawaguchi is more popular, Lake Yamanaka is also good. It is close to Shiratorihama and you can have close contact with many swans😆
GGuest UserThe location is near the mountain lake, the facilities are complete, there are parking spaces, the room has a separate toilet and bathroom, the wet and dry separation is very good, there is an induction cooker for cooking, and you can barbecue the stars, opposite to Mount Fuji.
SSebastian AndresThe facility offers what it says, we had all the services mentioned and had a quiet night. The location is a bit far and there is not much transportation option so you have to pay attention to the last bus. We checked in a little later and they were waiting for us, so thank you very much for that.
GGuest UserNice hotel, suitable for vacation, just stay for a few days. There is a 7-11 convenience store nearby and Alipay is very convenient. The most important thing is that his wife is a diehard fan of Yukio Mishima who came to visit the Yukio Literature Museum specially. And my wife is a 30-year-old local Miss Xiguan in Guangzhou. I haven't seen snow before. This time, there was snow everywhere. You can see Mount Fuji not far away.
