It looked very old hotel. Overall, the entrance and corridor were dark, and the air conditioning had about ５ buttons on the air conditioner, and there were few choices because the room temperature was set from among them, and it was a little cold. The bed was clean and comfortable. The cleaning was good and there was no dust accumulating in the corner of the room or at the end of the door.

Spacious for me. Although a bit old it good conditions. Only issue is thar the aircon it either on or off and it pretty warm so for late autumn and winter it is alright. Breakfast is either Japanese or western and the lounge is cosy. The carpark is a multi storey carpark west of the hotel so to drive past the building and anticlockwise. Good deal when I book it for 1 night. There a family mart right below.

The hotel can be reached within five minutes by car from the upper platform snow field, or by the central cable car to slide into the hotel. The hotel has a shuttle bus to pick up and drop off, but the reception staff at the counter in Chinese and English are very bad. Foreign guests ask a little more questions. After foreigners turn around, they make faces. Feeling arrogant, other than that the hotel is great

Best experience I could get from this place was the owner being a great cook and exceptional with her conversations and mannerisms in sending and welcoming her customers. Location is wonderful too, as it is quiet yet not far from the main areas to eat and transit in Yamagata. Honestly 1 of a hidden gem. Only drawback would probably be the hot tub as she is handling it on her own and if there are multiple people living there that night, it can get a little dirty, so I'll keep to using the showers would do. Love the place so much!
