"A wonderful hotel! Only 3 minutes to Anbo Port. Very hospitable hosts and staff. We helped arrange a taxi to Shirotani in the early morning. We made an early breakfast with ourselves. The room is clean and warm. Thank you very much. I'll come back."

"This Minshuku is well located on the main road between airport and Miyanoura. If you don’t plan to drive, you can take the bus from the airport and will arrive in about 15 min at the Kokumae bus stop ( bus stop in front of the high school) . The bus stop is just in front of the Minshuku. Bus ride costs ¥200. The overall condition of the Minshuku is good. The double room that we had was about 100 sqft, with a wash basin inside the room which is good. The futon were comfortable and blankets were warm. Toilet and shower are shared but they were very clean. Dining area is nice and comfortable. Dinner is excellent with local food. There is free coffee and tea in the reception. The Minshuku offer rental for hiking shoes if you don’t have any. Overall I would recommend this place for the great location and price."

"Typical Japanese-style room, beverage machine, air conditioning, refrigerator, separate toilet. There is a public single bathroom in the bath. There are also public washing machines and dryers. The location is near Anfang Station (not Anfang Port), very convenient, surrounded by izakayas, restaurants, tastes good. There is also a Mos burger. The room is slightly old and understandable. The plane arrived at noon and let me check in early, thank you very much."

"The room is about 5 minutes walk from Anfang Station, close to Anfangchuan, very quiet not facing the street. Breakfast and dinner are handmade by the proprietress, very delicious. The room is small, slightly old, but well maintained and the bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is shared and there is a bathtub to soak in. The boss is very nice and very enthusiastic."

"The owner is a professional mountaineer and provides a variety of hiking equipment and rice balls. There are also many restaurants nearby. Beautiful scenery, large rooms and baths. Will ask to fill in the mountaineering report, very good."

"We absolutely loved this stay and would recommend it to all travellers! We booked the corner room. The room was well illuminated by natural light during the day and we could see the river from our room. At night we could even hear the water flowing. There were two western single beds but we asked for futons for the full Japanese experience and loved it! The room was spacious and clean. There was a bathtub in the bathroom but we used the public bath (male and female separated) which was amazing. The public bath was quiet and spacious and there was a sauna room. Breakfast was served during 7am -830am with a well set table as shown in the picture. The staff was super kind. Just note that the walls were thin and you should expect some noise but people here are generally used to keeping their voice down. Another highlight is that you can take the bus of both the red and blue lines at the bus stop right in front of the hotel. (The blue line is for Shiratani Unsuikyo.). It is very convenient if you are not driving. The hotel is around 25 mins away from the ferry port and the walk there was pleasant and not difficult to find. Yet another great thing about this place is that you can rent mountaineering gear here at a cheap price, including shoes and rain protection. We rented the shoes here at 1,xxx yen per person (forgot the exact price) and they were very useful. It was raining for almost the whole 5h hike for us and the shoes offered a good grip and were sufficiently waterproof. You can also find little souvenirs at their shop. Honestly, it's impeccable!"

"This is a hotel that must be highly recommended. The hotel is in a prime location, a 15-minute walk from Anfang Port. The transportation is convenient, and the bus station is a two-minute walk away. As soon as we arrived at the hotel, the lobby manager enthusiastically introduced the hotel and the activities on the island, and also gave us a Chinese version of the travel guide. Knowing that we were going to Shenwenshan the next day, our breakfast was changed to a bento for free. The thing that touched me the most was that on the third day we went to Pingnei Umi-no-ka Onsen. Because the bus schedule had just been adjusted, we missed the last bus. We asked the hotel for help, hoping that they could call a taxi for us. Because it was already dark, the hotel couldn't call a taxi for a while, so they arranged for employees to pick us up over 40 minutes long distance, and they didn't charge any fees. I was very touched and I would like to express my gratitude again."
