I’ve always enjoyed my stays in Mercure hotels, as they are typically very clean, affordable, and well-located. This hotel fits their brand image. The hotel is situated in the middle of many convenience stores and restaurants, making it very convenient to find a meal or anything you may want. The lavender decor creates a nice ambiance. Hotel staff at the front desk were polite and efficient, getting our check in finished without any hassles. The room was spacious and very clean, with all the amenities needed. The Japanese toilet is a nice touch. The bed was comfortable and made for a restful sleep. There was one problem with the room. The air conditioning did not work. The room sat at 25 degrees the whole time, despite setting the thermostat at 21. The room temperature was a bit stifling so we had to keep the window open, which allowed a lot of traffic noise in. Overall, it was a lovely stay and I would recommend the hotel.

I especially like their wireless network, which is very fast and allows me to stay connected to the outside world at all times. More importantly, the waiters at this hotel are very kind and polite, especially Wang Na, the assistant lobby manager, who always answers my questions patiently and with a smile. Their service attitude really makes people feel very comfortable and happy.

So many hotel customers choose you, you have to be grateful, reasonable requirements to let customers go smoothly, such as individual customers need 2 more bottles of water, breakfast take away 2 small steamed buns and 2 cooked eggs (too late to eat), restaurant waiters do not be embarrassed, It seems that customers are asking for food... The self-esteem of customers is hurt... In short, this hotel hardware can be ranked in the top ten in Xining, work hard! Top manager!

Because I have stayed at the Yi Hotel in Xi'an, I also chose the Yi Hotel when I went to Xining this time. The hotel is just downstairs from Wangfujing. It is very convenient for transportation and shopping. There is a snack court downstairs, because the housing prices are more expensive during the tourist season, but The hotel has done a lot of value-added services, including drinks and fruits. The service is very warm. I was asked to wear a short-sleeved shirt when I went out at night. The front desk reminded me to bring a jacket as much as possible. The temperature difference is large and the temperature is cooler at night. It is very considerate and likes it!

This is in a great location. The rooms are a bit outdated and need to be redone. The beds are clean though. The air-conditioning takes some time to cool The room down. This is a good place for a night or two or if you're passing through the city. The staff is very friendly and helped whenever they could.

It was latex, so I decided to come back and buy a set by myself. I thought I just read the reviews and thought there were a few restaurants to eat. I didn’t expect there to be two highly rated barbecue restaurants. I went to drink yogurt in the evening and ate my favorite roast. Lamb tripe, delicious. There are also noodle shops, dumpling shops, and yak soup shops. The whole street is delicious. Because of the limited time, I always struggle with which one to eat is better. Haha

I only spent a fast night. It was great that they have 24h reception and that they accepted foreigners (other hotels said not because I was a foreigner and COVID fear... Very simple but all you need. I got a room facing the road so Iit was a bit noisy with cars and pedestrians.

After all, it is a veteran hotel, the location, hotel facilities and services are nothing to say, the breakfast is also very rich, and there are pizzas that kids love. If you don't want to have breakfast at the hotel, there are many small restaurants in Jia Xiaoxiang next to the hotel. We had lunch and breakfast there. Both restaurants tasted good. Parking is also very convenient, you can park directly at the door of the hotel, and there is also a scheduled shuttle bus to the airport, which is particularly convenient for travel. The hotel is not far from the Xining TV Tower, so you can take some night scenes when you have time at night. There is also a free park next to the hotel, called Qilin Bay Park. The scenery is quite unique, a bit of a water town in the south of the Yangtze River.

Pros: 1) Location right beside train station and bus station. 2) Many eateries around the hotel 3) Room is clean and spacious Cons: 1) No aircon. I know it is cool during summer in Xining as well but i think it is a basic requirement for aircon in a hotel. A fan is provided but i think it is not a welcome sight for a hotel with a fan.
