Hotels in Xining with Swimming Pools

My daughter and I were stuck in Xining an extra night due to the typhoon in Shanghai and our flight being changed so we decided to treat ourselves by staying at Sofitel. It was well worth the treat. We stayed in a club-level room and everything was excellent. Because it was my birthday the hotel even brought a small cake to our room, which was delicious! We will definitely stay at Sofitel again when we are back in Xining.

I will start off by saying that the room and bathroom were well appointed, the staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was delicious. However, whilst the room was generally clean, when I dropped something that subsequently rolled under a fitted unit, I was pretty disgusted to see the dust and filth beneath it. It clearly had not been cleaned for…well…ever? I appreciate that these areas will not be as clean as the more visible parts of the room, however for a five star hotel, this is unacceptable. I do not expect to find dirty tissues and a thick layer of dust and dirt anywhere in my hotel room. But by far the absolute worst part of my stay was the inability to control the temperature in the room whatsoever. The room was so swelteringly hot that despite the comfortable bed, and everything to go with it, I was almost unable to sleep at all. I do not expect this in a five star hotel(and have never experienced it other than here and at anther Wanda hotel in Hohhot), I pay for luxury; controlling the room temperature is a basic requirement that I can even do in a 50 yuan a night hostel dorm. When I asked the staff at reception the following morning I was told the AC wouldn’t be available until after April 15th because ‘it’s cold outside’. Firstly, I am not sleeping outside, I am sleeping inside, on the 22nd floor, where it is anything but cold. Not to mention it was April, not January, even in Xining it is not that cold. Secondly, as a paying guest, in a five star hotel, it should be up to me to decide if it is hot or cold, not the hotel. For this reason, as lovely as the room, staff and breakfast may have been, I would not stay here again. I checked out and moved to the lower rated Hilton, where I could control the room temperature and actually managed to sleep…generally what the whole point of a hotel is.

It was a very good experience. I was thinking of booking an ordinary room, but I found out that there is Sebel, and the price is similar, so I thought about booking a try. The overall impression of the hotel is not very good. When I entered the guest room, I encountered the auntie cleaning the guest room and filled the road. Then she told him the room number. She checked with us and actually followed us to the door of the room and shouted at the room. ”Xiao Yang!” When no one answered, he told us that we could enter. This operation was too confusing. The design of the small refrigerator and the water bar was unreasonable and crowded! finally! When I left, I left something in the room. I called to confirm. The hotel actually told us that we didn't find our things when cleaning the room. Forget it, it's not a particularly valuable thing, but I have to write this feeling! Hope the hotel can strengthen management! The only advantage is that the room has a bathtub, which the kids love!

The service enthusiasm index is absolutely full. After the master in the parking lot commanded the parking, and then pulled our luggage and ran quickly. The hotel is nice and the environment is very good. There is a wetland park in front. The lobby and rooms are well decorated, but I don't know why. It has been trial operation for more than a year. The adjacent podium and underground garage have not been repaired and decorated. The disadvantage is that the hotel’s breakfast is too stingy. I went to breakfast at 8 o’clock and 80% of the dishes were not available. I reminded the waiter that there were no dishes and empty dishes. The waiter had a good attitude and said that it would be added soon, but I sat and waited. In half an hour, ten dishes were added up to three, and the others were still empty.

Came by car, underground parking for 25 nights. The landlord was very enthusiastic and responded very promptly. He also recommended several places to eat very well. The room is decorated in style, but it is so dry! The floor heating can't be controlled, it's so hot! I can't close it 😂 The provided items are quite complete, the projector is also very easy to use, and the mobile phone can directly project the screen.

The price of this hotel should be considered expensive, and the service is really average. The park is very large and divided into several zones. Should it be equipped with a guide map at the front desk or during holidays to facilitate the arrangement of the itinerary. Most of them are brought to play with children. If there are children when booking the room, some children should also be prepared for the room. It is convenient to use when playing with water, such as toiletries or bathrobes. In the entire front desk, apart from waiting for check-in and check-out to collect faces, there is no other staff to arrange or know where and how tourists should go. The facilities are not bad, and there are many places to play, but the service is slightly less humanized, which does not match the price of this hotel. In addition, the bed in our room was stained and there were a lot of small ballasts. I don't know if the sheets have not been changed.

The experience is relatively poor. There is no front desk or reception, and the specific location and room number are not sent in advance. I don’t know the room when I call and send the wrong building number. After checking in, the mattress is a bad mat of the rental house. The dried flowers on the bedside gave me a headache. I had a backache after sleeping for two days. I checked out decisively. The cleaning was outsourcing. It can be said that this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It means there is no service. I will never go again
