Hotels in Huangguang/Dongguan Grand Mosque, Xining

Room was spacious but somewhat worn, with minor stained bedding, dingy shower floor and a very old water kettle. Location was excellent, very central in an older part of city, though a bit noisy with traffic. Hotel has washing machines but no dryer, which i was not told at check-in even though i asked specifically about them. Most of the staff seemed distant. Breakfast was quite good.

The room is large enough and the facilities are new. Health, environment and service are not bad. High prices in peak season are understandable and acceptable. It is a pity that I specially chose air-conditioned ones, but the cooling effect is not ideal and the sound is relatively loud. Open the window for ventilation and noisy. It seems that this is a common problem in many hotels in Xining.

Highly recommended. Enjoyable stay and affordable. Staff upgraded our room to a suite Good views of this city. Also gave us a free breakfast one day which was decent for the most part. Great location in/near the muslim neighborhood. The only complaint might be was that it was difficult to get the temperature of the room down on these hot, Summer days, even at night (no A/C available).

This is my extended night; I absolutely enjoyed the stay. Receptionist Lisa was professional and friendly during check-in and check-out. She gave me a nice gift pack with a lovely scarf upon check-out, which she told me she had specially prepared for me. I really appreciate it.

The room is very good in all aspects, the facilities are relatively complete, and the service attitude of the front desk staff is very good! The hotel also provides free parking services and the surrounding environment is also very convenient.

It was very convenient to take a short rest and leave directly to catch the plane after checking out.

The room is warm and comfortable, clean and tidy, with good lighting, and the curtains are good for shading at night. The service attitude is very good, the facilities are complete, and the replacement is very timely. Three-star Sadian five-star service.

The environment is very good, and the overall atmosphere is also good. It is cleaned every day, and the room is quiet and I slept very well. The public space in the lobby on the first floor is very spacious, bright and comfortable, with a super large TV screen, and it feels especially good to watch movies [Celebration] There are singing facilities, and it is a small live concert when it is opened! There is a super cool Scottish Fold cat Qian Duoduo and 3 little kittens. The ladies who like furry children can rush [grin][grin][grin] The boss is super nice, often caring, and has the warmth of home. The key is that Brother Liang’s cooking level is super high. It is a paradise for foodies haha. I will come to this restaurant next time!

Upon check-in on the first day, we were offered a complimentary yogurt, which was quite tasty. However, that evening, the power in our room inexplicably went out. After about a ten-minute wait, an electrician arrived to fix it, and the power was restored. The front desk service was excellent; to compensate for the inconvenience, they kindly provided us with breakfast vouchers. Breakfast was quite good overall, with tasty food and attentive service. The room was clean, and the location was fantastic – just a 10-minute walk to Mojia Street and the night market. The only drawback was ongoing road construction right outside the entrance, which made getting a taxi a bit inconvenient. Fortunately, the construction noise stopped by around 7 PM, so it didn't really affect our stay. This hotel is part of the same group as Home Inn and is located in the same building.

The rest of the hotel is OK, but there is one biggest bug. The toilet has no door, and is blocked by a curtain. The toilet is facing the door. The layout is really unreasonable. Fortunately, my family and I live in the same room. If two strangers live in the same room, it will be very awkward. The first reason to choose this place is that it is close to the city center and Mojia Street. It is also convenient to take a taxi. There is also air conditioning in the room. I didn’t know that many hotels don’t install air conditioning until I came to Xining. But you should at least install a sliding door in the toilet, otherwise I really feel that there is no personal privacy. I hope the hotel can improve it!
