I was initially a bit worried after seeing numerous negative reviews online, but my actual stay turned out quite pleasant. **Pros:** The hotel is centrally located, making it very convenient for dining and shopping. Right across the street is a trendy chain restaurant, a famous cultural heritage spot frequented by celebrities; even at 9 PM, there was still a queue. The room was quite spacious and came with all the basic amenities. Cleanliness was satisfactory. Breakfast was rather plentiful, and the rice noodles were particularly good. However, the coffee could definitely be improved; if it's instant, there's no real reason to go to the breakfast area for it when I could just make it in my room. **Cons:** As many online reviewers pointed out, the elevators were quite slow during peak hours. What was surprising was that housekeeping was doing their cleaning during the morning rush hour. Couldn't that be scheduled for a different time? The hairdryer is quite old and could do with an upgrade. Also, the small bottles of toiletries were genuinely difficult to dispense; this is definitely an area for improvement. **Overall:** While the investment in physical facilities is evident and good, there's still room for improvement in the details of their operational service.

Nice , upmarket hotel. Room was spacious and clean. Shower wasn't properly sealed and let water out in the bathroom which was a bit annoying. The hotel has a good gym and swimming pool. Unfortunately the swimming pool was closed for one out of our two day stay because they had to clean it and they didn't let us know in advance which was annoying too. Good breakfast

For the past two years, I've visited Xining almost annually for work, and Qinghai Hotel has always been my one and only choice for accommodation. What makes it stand out are the incredibly welcoming staff, the plentiful and delicious breakfast, the warm and comfortable rooms, and, most importantly, the truly comfortable beds and bedding. This time, taking advantage of a holiday, my friends and I set off from Lanzhou for a spontaneous Gansu-Qinghai Grand Loop road trip. We were on the road early mornings and late nights every day, so by the time we reached Qinghai Hotel for the night, I slept soundly from 11 PM until 8 AM. It was exactly what I needed to truly recover and shake off the fatigue.

It was midnight when we arrived in Xining. As the starting point of the Qinghai-Gansu Grand Loop, we had a good rest. The new hotel has a little smell, but it is fine once the fresh air system is turned on. The breakfast is not suitable for southerners, it is simple and not suitable for this star rating.

When planning our trip to Xining, I was a bit concerned about adjusting to the altitude, so I paid special attention to hotel facilities. This place definitely exceeded my expectations. The air conditioning was strong and kept the room cool, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep. The in-room oxygen concentrator and humidifier was incredibly practical; my elderly family members found it very helpful, experiencing no shortness of breath and sleeping wonderfully. Its proximity to the bus stop also made getting to Ta'er Monastery very convenient. We'd definitely stay here again!

The hotel is not the real international Mercure. Be carefull if you looking for the Murcure. It is not in the downtown. There are not many shops and restaurant nearby. The room is new , clean and well designed. The staff are friendly. We got the room with the beautiful mountain view.

It was almost 11:00 pm when we got back from Qinghai Lake and Chaka Salt Lake, and we were still hungry. The hotel is very close to Mojia Street. We bought some food at the night market and hurried to check in. Unexpectedly, we made a mistake in booking the wrong room type. We went to the front desk and they quickly changed the room type. It is very convenient for shopping and dining, and it is not far from the train station and attractions.

The hotel is centrally located, facing the central square. Room windows offer stunning views of Xining's city center. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, including a large Sharp TV. The bathroom is spacious, with separate wet and dry areas and a TOTO automatic flush toilet. The lobby counter is stocked with bottles of mineral water and a variety of fruit for guests to enjoy, a truly impressive touch. The breakfast is plentiful and high-quality. The staff are especially welcoming, proactively inquiring about service needs and offering recommendations, a truly valuable touch. The front desk staff are equally proactive and service-minded. The front square is spacious, with free parking, and the security guards are friendly and attentive. A gas station is just around the corner in the alley next to the hotel, making refueling very convenient.

We booked last minute and we were pleased with the room arrangement, which perfectly accommodated our family of 5. ⭐️The room was clean and equipped. ⭐️Perfect location, easy transportation. ⭐️Staff is extremely kind and helpful. 😉Breakfast room gets crowded, however we were promptly informed at check in and given options to get food from the buffet and eat it elsewhere. Note: we only had breakfast at the hotel once and we were able to find seats and food. We usually left the hotel before breakfast for our excursions. 😕Elevators get crowded at rush hours, which might mean long waiting time. 😕Individuals smoking in common area. ❗️Those two points are not really due to hotel management, since the building hosts several other businesses. For this same reason, hygiene standards in the common areas are not up to rooms’ standards. It was not a big deal for us at all. It is a good choice for active travelers! The hotel is very conveniently located, just a 5-minute walk from Limeng. It has everything you need for eating, drinking and having fun. There are also hospitals nearby, and it is also convenient to get to the state and county highways. The hotel has many room types to choose from. The front desk lady is very beautiful and has good service. You can upgrade the room type for free. There are also many snacks at the front desk that are free. The hotel also provides children's toothbrushes and slippers for free, which is very considerate. The free earplugs and hand cream are also provided. The service is really good. There is also a freshly ground coffee machine in the lobby, which is free to drink. The guest rooms are also very clean, and there are many varieties of breakfast. During the May Day holiday, in order to take care of foreign tourists, breakfast also added Qinghai's special fermented skin, sweet mash and dog urine. I will choose here next time I come to Xining!
