The Qinghai-Gansu Loop Line landed in Xining, and I stayed at Xining Building because the plane arrived early. I checked in at the hotel after 10 o'clock. The hotel is one of the older star hotels with a good location, very close to Xining Station, good service, and the luggage was delivered to the room. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was very comfortable. It was close to several night markets, and I went to the Nanxiaguan Market twice, a place frequented by locals, and bought some food as supplies for the next day's journey. The breakfast was not so good, there was nothing to eat. Our room was close to the road outside, and it was a bit noisy at night.

The old state guesthouse is very comfortable to live in. It is near the Islamic area, and it is very convenient to eat and the food is delicious. It is a pity that I couldn't enjoy the Chinese and Western food in Xining Building this time. Parking is convenient in the backyard with plenty of parking spaces.

Low-key luxury with connotation.

I have stayed here many times. Xining Building is simple on the outside but luxurious on the inside. The house environment is quiet. Ms. Yang at the front desk provides great service. In addition, in winter, the room not only has floor heating but also air conditioning. The temperature is very suitable. It is great and highly recommended.

Because I needed to stay for one more day, the room rate on January 1 was cheaper than on December 31. I wanted to use the free breakfast benefit of Ctrip membership, but for some reason the free breakfast was not shown after I placed the order. I didn't pay attention to it because I placed the order in a hurry. After moving to the 4th floor, the bathroom was much better than the one on the 2nd floor, with no more problems with air leakage and shower. The next morning when I went to the restaurant for breakfast, I realized that I didn't bring breakfast, but I still tried to call the front desk to ask if I could have breakfast delivered. The breakfast was a simple one with hot beef noodle soup, some side dishes and porridge, etc. It didn't have a lot of varieties and the price was not very expensive. Moreover, there were only 5-6 people eating breakfast in the breakfast room on the morning of the 2nd. But the front desk refused indifferently. Generally speaking, it is not easy to maintain the facilities of an old hotel, but the service really discouraged me from staying there again.
