Everything was fine, super nice hostel. Very close to the main train station, very convenient and the city was amazing, I will repeat it.

Location was really good, just near the train station and a bus stop going to train station and Kumbum Monastery, but it's quite hard to find at night especially it's in a dark alley. Staff was friendly and helpful. However, when I stayed, the water was on and off (mostly off) ― some people had to call the staff to turn it on. And that made the toilet unusable as well!

The staff was very nice. He allowed me to print different things and saved my clothes from the rain! Also the use of the washing machine is free which is a big plus.
The hostel itself could definitely improve the cleanliness. There are just to many people in such little space to clean once a day. Cigarettes everywhere and the bathroom was really filthy when I stayed there.

Close to Xining Railway Station, the road signs are not easy to find at night. Overall, the price/performance ratio is good.

Excellent hostel! Enthusiastic and friendly young owners who welcomed me with social activities and evening hotpot. The location is excellent, 15 minutes walk between train and bus stations and the mosques. Easy access by bus to Kumbum monastery. Showers are hot and there was a washing machine but I didn't use this. Minor drawbacks: it's a cold hostel so you need to wear layers inside, and the cleanliness is only average. Overall, it's a really good budget hostel and I'd stay again for sure.
