It is very convenient to pick up and drop off the airport, and the store is a honest and simple person. The surrounding area is also very good, supermarkets, pharmacies are available, and restaurants are affordable. Especially the noodle shop is very affordable, probably an old local store. Highly recommend it.

In general it is a nice hotel. Things i liked: Good location close to airport, accept foreigners, clean, nice breakfast (they even managed to get us a coffee sachets), view is not bad (high floor), rooms are warm and beds are comfortable. Thinks i found little disappoint - check-in took forever. One lady started checking us in, than another took over and was asking to show the same codes again. Main disappointment however was the SPA. We were told by Ctrip this hotel has a SPA (we asked ctrip to confirm with hotel), but when we arrived we were told SPA is not operational and to make things worsts - the hotel didnt have hot water. The water in the bathroom was around 20 degrees warm maybe - not warm enough to venture into shower. I eventually filled up half of the bath with this semi warm water and added 4-5 kettles of boiled water to get the temperature bit higher - before i could actually wash myself.

When we came to Qinghai Province to travel, we went to the east to play, and stayed in the hotel. This hotel looks tall and luxurious, and the waiter’s attitude is good. They also give free breakfast, look at pictures and talk, go in the room, and light. Bright, very clean, the quilt has no peculiar smell, and it is clean. It is more comfortable to watch TV when you lie in bed at night. Toiletries are prepared in place, and the provision is good. 24 hours of hot water, you don’t have to be afraid of the cold at night. The room is warm and super awesome. I like it very much, strong! recommend!

This hotel is very close to the airport, and the free shuttle is very powerful. If you go to Xining city, the round-trip fare will be less than 200 yuan. The hotel is very clean and the environment is very quiet. The large and small restaurants and markets are close to one or two hundred meters away. The boss, Xiao Chen, is frank and honest in hospitality. I was very impressed with the free room upgrade on the 2nd day. Not only will I stay here, but I will stay here in Xining for a few more days. Staying at the airport to live in this hotel, the price is too high, other hotels can not match.

Only stayed one night, but the hotel was great, the staff were helpful, and the ginger tea they give as a welcome drink was lovely. Comfy bed and hot shower are always great. The little toiletries were good quality as well. While I may not go back to Xining again, I would definitely stay at a Hampton by Hilton again. 😀

At midnight, the boss came to pick up the plane. I'm sorry, but I was troublesome in the middle of the night. We were impressed by the front desk staff n grateful for Celine the manager. She helped us to get transport to go to Qinghai lake. She was able to speak English and make communication easier for us. We had a wonderful and memorable time in Xining. We hope to come back again.

Pros: 1) Location right beside train station and bus station. 2) Many eateries around the hotel 3) Room is clean and spacious Cons: 1) No aircon. I know it is cool during summer in Xining as well but i think it is a basic requirement for aircon in a hotel. A fan is provided but i think it is not a welcome sight for a hotel with a fan.
