The hotel is very unique, it is quiet in the bustle, and the guy at the front desk is particularly nice. We arrived at Xiamen North Station at around 11 o'clock, and it was already around 12:30 after we checked in. The little brother was very patient and waited at the hotel. He turned on the air conditioner in the room in advance, took the initiative to help carry the suitcases, and told us this You can see Gulangyu Island from the fifth floor. Because I arrived too late, I was not in the mood to see the night view. I also wanted to go to Gulangyu Island the next day. You can store your suitcases in the lobby. Finally, turn right from the hotel and there are many places to eat. Bashi and Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street are right next to it, which is super convenient (the only selfie of the hotel is attached at the end).

The location of this hotel is in Siming District, which is relatively close to nearby scenic spots. I chose this hotel after looking at it for a long time. When I went there, I had a lot of luggage. When the front desk staff saw it, they ran over to help us with our luggage and even poured tea. The service was really great. It's very good👍 The style of the room is a bit retro and simple, which suits my aesthetics🎉 The best thing is that the hygiene is very good😌The bathroom has no smell and the room is quite big. If you are traveling to Xiamen, this hotel is really a good choice.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and I mistakenly booked a room with no windows. Despite the lack of a window, I had a surprisingly good night's sleep. The room itself was super clean and a good size, so that was a plus.
The staff was incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay, which made the experience much more enjoyable. The price wasn't too bad either, considering the quality of the room and service.
One minor downside is that the hotel's location is a bit misleading. It's actually nearby but not directly at the shopping street, need over ten mins walk. Although not a problem, worth to note if you’re looking at the name of the hotel and assuming it’ll be right in the shopping street.
All in all, I had a positive experience, and I would consider booking a room here again in the future.

This place is all about location! Out of lobby, road junction turn left and you are at Ba Shi (八市) and turning right you are heading towards Zhongshan Road pedestrian walk (中山路步行街）. It was easy to hail a taxi in front of the hotel too. Airport is around 20-40mins away to the hotel. Once out of the hotel, there is food aplenty and a 7-11 just across the junction. The front desk staffs are all friendly and willing to help and a pleasure to chat with. Rooms are small but clean and the cleaning lady is a delight as well. Always with a smile when I see her.
I enjoyed the washer and dryer amenity as I was there for a week and washing powder / detergent is provided. Open from 9am - 10pm.
I do find the window view not much of a view. This is the old district, so buildings are looking their age. The toilet flushing is quite loud and if you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs.
My mom enjoyed the firm bed whilst I would have preferred a softer one.

This hotel is good. My friend found it specifically for a relatively new hotel. It is very clean and comfortable. It has a great experience. It is close to the city center and there are many delicious food downstairs. We first booked a room with a window in the corridor, and the guy at the front desk upgraded us. When we got to the outside window, the guy was very gentle and kind. I will stay here next time I go to Xiamen. I really like it.

The hotel has put a lot of effort into the environmental design, the colors are bright and warm, I like the rest tables placed in the corridors, and the thoughtful green plant scenery, such as walking into the forest path, the rooms have grass green walls and orange The combination of yellow colors makes customers feel happy and relaxed, so they can sleep peacefully! The guys at the front desk are very enthusiastic. Every time we go out and come back, we can see their smiling faces. We don't want to leave when we stay. We truly feel at home and have endless fun. We originally only booked a room for one night, but it happened that we came back every day to extend our stay. Thank you to my brother and sister for allowing us to extend our stay in the original room as we wished. The place is a bit hard to find, it's located on the 4th floor of the shopping mall. There's a food court on the ground floor, and you reach the hostel via the elevator.
The rooms were clean, but one of the showers was broken. My biggest complaint would be the toilets; the toilets are located outside the hostel (you need to go through the reception and out to the common hallway) next to the elevator and are free to use for everyone.

The hotel is good for a short stay. The location is great but I first missed it because the 1st photo on description is not the hotel building. It is a little loud frommthe outside but after 9 or 10pm it was quiet and I had no troible sleeping.

Location: Pretty good (right next to the Zhongshan Road), also quite strategic cause it is close to a mall and subway station (Zhenhai Road).
I'm very satisfied with the fact that my room was facing the Zhongshan Road. I felt quite lucky cause I could see the view of Zhongshan Road every morning and night just from my room window.
Service: Quite friendly, especially the cleaning and the restaurant staff. They are so kind to me and my father.
Although there was a little problem in communication since I can't speak Chinese well, I enjoyed my stay at Ibis Hotel.

VvivibinFirst of all, the location is very good, it is convenient to eat and travel downstairs. Secondly, the little girl at the front desk is kind and nice. Seeing that we brought children, she gave us extra breakfast coupons and helped us with printing. Finally, the room is very clean, tastefully decorated and warm. There are laundry detergent, washing machine and dryer, and the big screen is very enjoyable to watch. It is especially suitable for a family to live in, without disturbing each other and playing together.

He was amazingly polite and I truly appreciated his effort to make our stay as comfortable as can be.
The hotel is amongst the best in the region and I was given a room with sea view.
Highly recommend this hotel to those who love a great view and impeccable service.

GGuest UserAt first, we were disappointed because they put us into a small room that we felt was not worth the price we paid for. However, the next day they upgraded our room into a nice one with a separate toilet and shower area. There were wide windows and the view was the quiet road below and two small mountains in the distance. Not bad eh! This was the time we started feeling comfortable and relaxed in our 4 nights of stay here. The bed and pillows were firm and very good to sleep in. Good for relaxing after a long day of touring or working. There was a small dining table as well as some space or area to work and put your other stuff. The toilet is fully automated so it was really comfortable to use. The staff in general were accommodating and the female receptionist manning the lobby was always enthusiastic and helpful. On the other hand, location is far from downtown so it might cost you a bit more if you take the didi often. Also, breakfast fare was sparse when we were there, probably because it was still the tourist season. Not sure though but for whatever reason, when we got to the breakfast nook at around 8am, most of the food was gone. We had to wait for about 30 min for some trays to be refilled with food while the rest simply remained empty. If you don’t like local breakfast, then this hotel’s breakfast is not for you. Overall, it was a pleasant stay for us.

Staff at the hotel are attentive and conscientious, however overly zealous about upselling the benefits of the club lounge rooms. Club lounge is small, doesn’t have much to offer by way of snacks. Very limited food options at breakfast. Doesn’t open of offer anything around lunchtime and has limited options for dinner. Ok if you’re a drinker, but range of spirits is small.
Didn’t feel I received value for money for the upgrade. My clients and I ended up eating at the main restaurant for breakfast, which was not included in the club price?
Also, the views from the club floor rooms were not river views- we overlooked the noisy bar street at the building across the road.
Had a problem getting fruit to my room over my 4 day stay, so had to go out and buy Bananas for myself.
Another issues was that despite leaving the room available and arranging with reception for housekeeping to clean the room in time for me to have a video conference call without interruptions, they did not and so, i was interrupted during my call and had to repeatedly explain and deal with housekeeping insisting on coming in!
The last straw for me was when reception neglected to extend my stay as requested the day before and so I had issues with my card and with checking in again, so I simply booked into another, more welcoming hotel.
Overall, the hotel is professional and well managed, but they do seem to have some problems co-ordinating back of house teams.

EExpatThis hotel was priced above average considering the time of year and the neighboring hotels. I cannot say that my stay was very good here because of a few things. When I checked in the procedure for passport and everything was completed. They had to do the process again later that night. The water did go out while I stayed there but they fixed it within 20 minutes. The neighboring hotel and beach were doing construction, so I had lots of noise going on out my window early in the morning. The location is good because it’s close to the beach, however the dining advertised is at the hotel next to it. I did ask the Trip.com app to update the information for the hotel because the breakfast included was not what they would typically serve because they confirmed it depended on the number of guests. I could not eat the food that they offered me and they were not willing to adjust the price. trip.com offered me trip coins, however my overall stay here was disappointing because even the car gate was having delays. There were things such as maybe teabags or cotton swabs that I asked to have in the room, but none of those are offered. The view is very nice. The cleaning staff is very friendly. However their breakfast area was just an empty banquet room with empty shaving dishes and they had a family temporally making plates of whatever they decided. I definitely think this hotel needs to have some love and attention, especially considering that the neighboring hotels are upgrading their properties. I feel that the rates should’ve been lower considering all of the construction in the walkways behind the hotel. I honestly have no clue have dinner was available or not. I saw a total of three staff members there and then the family of three making the place of breakfast in the two days. The price of the hotel changed by 200 yuan in Trip.com in less than 12 hours on the day that I reserved. Only difference was that breakfast was not included.

GGuest UserMy elderly mom and I visited Xiamen for a 5D4N private trip. Booked Millennium Harbourview Hotel again on the 3rd and 4th day stay due to the superb and convenient location.
When we reached the hotel around 4 pm, we were greeted by a hotel staff wearing a black coat. He helped us to push our luggage bags from the main entrance until our room. We really appreciate his kindness.
From the hotel, turn right and walk along the road until you cross the traffic light and reach the end, turn right again until you reach Heping Wharf to onboard the ship for Lujiang night tour. 20 mins walk. There's 2 sessions available, 7.30 pm & 8 pm. It cost RMB109 perpax. The night tour took around 1 hour to finish.
The sky in Xiamen started to get bright at 5 am. If you can wake up early, this is the best time to go out and walk around the hotel surrounding area. It's cool and windy. It's a good time to take photos as only a few people and cars are on the street. It's very peaceful and safe to walk along the road. We didn't see any cat, dog, or birds on the street.
A 30 mins walk to Haibin Park to see the sea and Gulangyu Island. You may also rent a bicycle that is available at the roadside in front of the hotel.
There's many local food roadside stalls available in front of the hospital beside the hotel.
We requested the hotel staff to arrange a taxi to send us to airport T3 during checkout. The whole process took around 7 mins, from checkout until we board the taxi. We really appreciate the front door staff dressed in red uniform to call for the taxi and helped us to upload our luggage bags in the car. The journey to the airport took around 30 mins and cost us RMB50.
I hope the hotel management can consider changing the room mattress as it's too old. The pillow is too flat. Good for sleep but not for resting. The room is very clean, but the wooden headboard frame was sticky when i lay my head on it. The bathroom rain shower head needs a fix as cold water dripping down when i'm using the handheld showerhead.

GGuest UserReally grateful for the free airport pickup. Added their number to my wechat and called them using wechat. Was given directions where to be picked up and asked to send a picture of how I look like. waited at the pickup point and even message them at exactly which location I'm at. Received a call later to ask where am I and also messaged me the car plate number. As the pickup point only allow 8mins of wait time, the driver was pretty pissed when I arrived. I mean, couldn't you have sent a picture of the car and the car plate number earlier?
Driver was smoking all the way while driving and I'm unfortunately seated behind him, breathing in all his smelly smoke. He opened his window but that didn't help, the wind has kept blowing the smoke into my face. Luckily it was a short drive. I feel that the hotel should educate their drivers not to smoke while driving. This is so selfish.
I got upgraded to a bigger room because they wanted me to give a good review. My room has a big window with the street view.
Room was clean and nice. Slippers given.
Toilet was badly designed. the shower head faces the toilet bowl and the sewage system is not good. After showering, the toilet flooded. I only realised the next morning that there are some buttons that you can switch on for ventilation in the toilet. The toilet was still flooded in the morning but I think if I have known about the buttons earlier, it would have been dried in the morning. The buttons are in chinese characters. Ask for help to decipher them.
The room has a projector but nothing was watchable. You need to have accounts to sign on to their various content provider.
The hotel is near a small street market with awesome and cheap food. There was also some supermarkets opened late into the night.
Cannot expect much from sound proofing as dead into the night, you can still hear food delivery rider delivering their food to occupants.
The driver in the morning did not smoke but when I told him that nobody asked me which terminal I'm going to, he insisted that it is impossible for them not to ask. I also cannot be bothered to argue. Why would I sabotage my own departure plans? Suggest that before the driver drives off, stressed which terminal you are going to. Terminal 3 for International flights, Terminal 4 for domestic flights. And they are not close to one another apparently.
Otherwise, the bed was quite comfy. The socket above the bedside table is almost falling off the wall.
