My stay here far exceeded my expectations, and I really have to commend the hotel's service! From the moment I walked in, the front desk efficiently handled my check-in with a smile, and even proactively offered tips on local transportation and dining. The room wasn't just clean and tidy; the bedding was so soft and comfortable, I slept wonderfully. When I realized I'd forgotten my charger, housekeeping delivered a compatible one within minutes. No matter what issue I had, the staff responded quickly and were incredibly friendly. I truly felt that 'home away from home' warmth. I'll definitely choose this place again next time!

The room size was just right, and the bathroom was especially spacious. Traveling as a family, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Check-in at the front desk was fast and professional. Most importantly, there are over a dozen Michelin-starred restaurants and plenty of entertainment options nearby, all within walking distance, so no need for a taxi.

After checking numerous apps, I finally settled on this hotel. I stayed for two nights, and overall, it was a great experience. We received a complimentary room upgrade, and the room offered a fantastic view. The soundproofing was excellent, which is a big plus for light sleepers. The location was also incredibly convenient, making it easy to visit many attractions. We had the complimentary breakfast on both mornings; the selection varied slightly each day, and while it wasn't particularly luxurious, it was more than enough to satisfy our hunger. Should I have the opportunity to visit Xiamen again, I would definitely choose to stay here.

The hotel boasts a superb location with convenient transportation, making it easy to reach various attractions and transportation hubs. Upon arrival, you can ask the receptionists for travel tips; the front desk is open 24 hours a day, and everyone is always welcoming and friendly. They patiently explain the hotel's facilities, how to use the air conditioning, how to connect to the Wi-Fi, and provide the front desk phone number. They all gave me a very caring and welcoming impression, and the entire team was incredibly enthusiastic. The hotel itself was very warm and comfortable, providing a relaxing and rejuvenating environment after a long day. A fantastic hotel! I would definitely choose this hotel again if I ever visit Xiamen again.

The room was spotless, and what really impressed me was how comfortable the mattress was. No matter how tired I was from exploring all day, one night's sleep completely recharged me. The room was also cleaned perfectly every day, and they even thoughtfully provided disposable toilet seat covers! That was a really nice surprise! My only regret is not bringing my own tea set, so I could have enjoyed tea in the tea room! So, if you're planning to stay, I recommend bringing your own tea set! Buy some local Tie Guan Yin or Oolong tea to try, it's a great space. The only downside was that it was a bit warm, I'm not sure if the air conditioning wasn't on!

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel during my Xiamen trip. I usually choose Home Inn whenever I travel, and this particular hotel was excellent as well. Firstly, the location is superb. It's close to Zhongshan Road, making it very convenient to catch a taxi to the Gulangyu Ferry Terminal or other attractions. It's also near the airport, and there are plenty of food options in the area. Secondly, the service from Shu Tiao was exceptional. Despite having stayed at Home Inn many times, this was the first time I've received such a delightful surprise. It truly made my day and greatly enhanced my experience. Big thumbs up! 👍

Absolutely fantastic! Not only did they proactively upgrade my room, but they also graciously agreed to a late check-out! The front desk staff were seriously, unbelievably helpful and friendly. They even provided a comprehensive guide to local food and attractions, which was incredibly useful. Following their recommendations, I tried the Satay noodles... and I must say, the taste was phenomenal! I was so hooked, I ended up eating it for three days straight, haha! The room was spotless, and the mattress was a dream – perfectly comfortable, neither too soft nor too firm. I honestly didn't want to get out of bed! The location is also perfect, super close to all the main attractions. Getting around was easy and incredibly affordable by taxi; can you believe a ride was often just around 10 yuan? Practically the base fare! Talk about amazing value for money! Xiamen truly is a romantic city. I'll definitely be back! This hidden gem of a guesthouse will absolutely be my go-to choice again. I'll be enthusiastically recommending it to all my friends and classmates when I get back. My travel companions loved it too! Everyone was incredibly satisfied – 100/100!

I am a foreigner. This morning, when I checked out, I forgot my passport in the room. Fortunately, the front desk staff noticed it in time and contacted me to send it to me 👍👍. The breakfast was very tasty, served from 7:00 to 12:00. If you wake up late, you can directly have it as lunch. The staff were enthusiastic and attentive, handling check-in quickly. The room was clean and hygienic, the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area with good water pressure. We had an unforgettable time in Xiamen during the Dragon Boat Festival, made even better by our stay at the Fenghwei Lanxi Seaview Hotel for two nights. The hotel’s location was extremely convenient, with popular attractions like Gulangyu Island just a short distance away. The surrounding area offered fantastic restaurants and a stunning coastline, making our stay both enjoyable and hassle-free. Our room was cozy, clean, and surprisingly welcoming—despite its compact size, it had a warm, homely feel. The breathtaking view, incredibly comfortable bed, and the attentive cleaning staff all contributed to a truly satisfying experience. Overall, we were thoroughly impressed and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Xiamen!

We booked a twin room for two, but upon arrival, we were assigned a double room. The front desk staff should be more attentive. The room change caused a delay, and we nearly missed our cable car to the attraction. As compensation, the hotel proactively offered us a complimentary room upgrade. However, I found the overall communication to be unprofessional and in need of improvement. While rushing to catch our cable car, I missed a call from the hotel. When I called back, the staff claimed they had called me ”several” times and I hadn't answered, then asked if I had time to talk and to ensure I picked up future calls. The truth is, I only had one missed call on my phone. Furthermore, prior to leaving for the cable car, I had already called the front desk twice from our room's landline. I had explained that we were given the wrong room and, after waiting for a response on a room change without success, I informed them I had to depart immediately due to my time-sensitive cable car ticket. The hotel breakfast was abundant and featured local delicacies. However, during breakfast, I had just finished getting my food, stepped out to use the restroom, and returned to find my table completely cleared. This resulted in a significant waste of a full plate of food, fruit, eggs, and a drink, and it wasted my time. Even though I had placed a 'I'm still dining' sign on the table, my meal was cleared anyway. The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient for accessing various attractions. It's also very close to Heping Wharf, within walking distance. The swimming pool was very clean. It would be more convenient if bath towels were provided in the pool's changing rooms. The housekeeping staff were very good, meticulous in their cleaning, and very friendly. The gym was well-equipped, and the exercise studio was clean and tidy. The view from our window was absolutely stunning. I believe it's the best vantage point on Xiamen Island to admire Gulangyu.
