"Very nice staff and extremely close to the monastery entrance without the noise being too bad, tucked round a corner off the main drag. The rooms are spacious and comfortable - the only issue we had was no hot water for the first night/ morning - after we spoke to the lady at reception it was fine for the remainder of our stay. The bar area is nice, we didn't try the food but very cosy for drinks."

"This was the first time I'd been charged for plain tea—barely drinkable with loose tea crumbs in it. Clearly a joke by the young receptionist, whose check-in/registration efforts I promptly postponed until the evening due to time constraints so I could still make the most of the day before sunset."

"The service was so warm. They even presented us with Hada after we arrived. We were the only family staying in the hotel during the off-season in winter, but the service was not slack at all. The boss turned on the heating in our room in advance and prepared fresh yak yogurt, snacks and many other things. He really cared about us. I originally wanted to eat in the county town, but I ate directly in the hotel, which was also very good. The whole manor is very large. It is recommended that everyone stay here during the peak season. We will come again."

"The guesthouse is spotlessly clean and has a wonderful ambiance. The proprietress has planted so many beautiful flowers, which are truly stunning. There's also a lovely terrace on the third floor, and the air up there is wonderfully fresh. Both the owner and his wife are incredibly warm and hospitable. For the price, it offers excellent value for money. We stayed for three days this time, and we'll absolutely choose to stay here again on our next visit!"

"We stayed 2 nights at the guesthouse. The family who owns it cares about you and your comfort all the time, a thing that we haven’t experienced at any other place in this country. We stayed at the tent: it is spacious and much better than expected, super comfortable matress (even with a heating blanket in case you are cold, which can be in Xiahe) and pillows. Everything in the house is very clean, it’s only 5 minutes walking from Labrang monastery and 20 from the bus station. We are glad we spent our time in Xiahe at this guesthouse, would come back for sure!!"

"The room has ******* characteristics, there are scenic spots just outside the door, and there are several authentic ******* restaurants around. The hotel is cheap and cost-effective. The staff are very kind. The only drawback is that the water is not hot enough."

"Best hotel I’ve stayed in on my trip. The family made me feel so welcome. The room was very comfortable and quiet. Lots of hot water. Food was great. They gave me a bike to cycle to the grasslands and did my washing for free! Also dropped me at the bus station. So kind and lovely. And the owner speaks perfect English."

"This was a little more expensive than the hotels in the town, but absolutely worth it. The owner is caring and the hotel is very comfortable, with all the amenities required. Also in general a beautiful hotel with local architecture. Would reccomendation this place."
