Olive Grove Guesthouse

Cosy property in a nice area. Small but lovely swimming pool, and the beds are enormous. Attention for details in the rooms and awesome bathrooms. On the downside, there is no private outdoor space, and we found the staff not to be the greatest assets (it took half an hour to get our payment right, and super pushy on parking and carrying bags) but perhaps we just caught them on a bad day.

Really nice guesthouse in Windhoek. We stayed one night before starting our trip. Stylish, modern and well furnished. Cosy pool and outstanding service. The breakfast is amazing 🤩 located ideally close to joes beer houses and may dining options.

What a fabulous guest house in a residential area of Windhoek. Our room had every possible facility you could possibly require, the staff were very courteous and the dinner was excellent. Breakfast was amazing

Exceptional stay. Lovely room and very comfortable. Dinner was outstanding. The staff were incredibly friendly and fun. We stayed for one night and it was a perfect place to start our travels through Namibia. Happy to recommend this place for a night.

Location is great to spend a few days in Windhoek between the trips. It allows easy access to the city as well as to avoid the traffic when going out of town. The look of the premises is also charming. But the best part is hospitality of the staff.

I stayed here at the start and end of a self drive vacation in Namibia. This guest house is calming and a good place to relax after a long flight! Both standard and deluxe rooms are comfortable and well equipped. The architectural design in the rooms was also really well thought out. The little touches, such as port and chocolates, were appreciated. Breakfasts are superb, and the talented chefs also produce good evening dining on the terrace. Loved the fact that on my return I was greeted like a long lost family member, although it might have had more to do with staff recalling my awful reversing of my rental car on the day I left! The guest house is also within strolling distance of Joe’s Smokehouse, but be warned, the footway is not consistent.

We really loved this guesthouse and it was far better than we had thought it might have been. We drove in to the secured area and parked. Our bags were taken to our rooms and we explored our rooms! We seemed to have the biggest suite. Two outside areas with seating. A hallway type room with a sofa and fridge, leading to a big bedroom and then a beautiful area with washbasins. The shower and loo were a little bit of a let down. Especially when the shower sent a steady stream of water up and over the wall onto a light fitting! All the accommodation was in one or two buildings with a walled surround. There was a plunge pool and some seating too. All very nice. We ate out which on reflection was a mistake as the food was very good.

I felt like the queen! Everything was so well thought out and the designing of the room was absolutely amazing. The anost amazing and friendly staff I have ever met! Wish I could have stayed longer 10/110 I will definitely come back!
