My experience with the hotel staff, rooms and location was excellent. However, the restaurant was a disappointment. Food temperature in their buffet are not monitored and are saceptable to dangerous bacteria. I got very sick. The following night, I thought I would be safe and order off the menu. I ordered chicken noodle soup and a ribeye with mash potatoes. When they brought the soup the broth was dark brown and thick. I question the waiter and he asked me to taste it. It was not only wrong in color but also extremely spicy. I returned it and the waiter asked me to have the soup from the buffet which I refused. After about 30 minutes the waiter returned and said it will be awhile to receive my ribeye. I mentioned that 90% of the people were eating from the buffet. He said he would try to expedite my order. 20 minutes later he returned with my steak. To expedite the process the chef butterflied the steak and overcooked it and the mashed potatoes were like glue. To top it off at breakfast the following morning the pancakes were burnt on the top and bottom and the center was raw and wet pancake batter. Proper training, supervision and management in the restaurant is really necessary.

Staying in Windhoek Country Club Resort is the most enjoyable place you can think of when you visit Namibia. From front desk to restaurant to housekeeping you guys are amazing. I personally want to recommend a lady called Queen at the front desk who made our stay more welcoming and comfortable. Her unique way of receiving and assisting quest is amazing and her radiant smile made me feel at home and want to come back.

My stay at the Country Club Hotel Windhoek was nothing short of amazing! The hotel itself is elegant, peaceful, and beautifully maintained — but what truly sets it apart is the incredible staff. Everyone was warm, professional, and genuinely kind. A special shoutout goes to Queen at the front desk — she’s an absolute star! True to her name, Queen made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. Her energy, helpfulness, and radiant smile turned a great stay into an unforgettable one.
