Invergarry Room Only Guest House for Adults

A lovely cosy Guesthouse in the perfect location for a break in the Lake District, near to the shores of Lake Windermere. A short walk to the restaurants and shops in Bowness. Steve & Vicky are a lovely couple, who make sure that you have everything you need.

Me and my partner had the most amazing and relaxing stay at Invergarry guest house this weekend. The guest house is in the perfect location for a wonder around both Windermere and Bowness and both Victoria and Steve are the most welcoming hosts making sure every second of our stay was the best it could be. There is an abundance of recommendations for food, activities, drinks and places to visit so you’re guaranteed to see the best bits the lakes have to offer. The room was cosy and there were lots of personal touches, which made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be visiting the lakes again and without a doubt will be choosing Invergarry guest house to stay! Thankyou very much for such a lovely stay x

Excellent location between Windermere and Bowness. Just a short walk down to the lake. Bus stop at the end of the road. Parking outside was an added bonus. Room was clean and had all tea making facilities and a welcoming snack. The owners popped by everyday and where very friendly

So perfectly situated between Lake Windermere and Bowness on Windermere Such a lovely experience. Every possible little comfort was thought of. We enjoyed the homemade flapjack and little jar of sweeties. Check in and out process was so simple. Lots of great recommendations for treks,adventures and nice restaurants to try cleverly mapped out on a notice board in the lobby. Highly recommend a stay here as we throughly enjoyed our time with you. Hope to come back again one day. Thank you 😊

Have stayed before but in a different room. This one was on the ground floor and at the front. I was concerned that I may be disturbed by road noise and other guests but I wasn't. Well presented room, like the other one. Ensuite was small, but was advertised as such and the shower was bigger than I expected. The bed was very comfortable. Was able to park on the road outside and a fabulous bus service can be accessed from the end of the road. A great place to stay in a beautiful part of the world, I would recommend it.

Booked this guest house at the last minute for 1 night as we had been staying elsewhere in the area which was lovely and wanted to spend another day/might which couldn't unfortunately be accommodated. On entering the building the decor looked tired and definitely in need of some modernisation, the same unfortunately had to be said for the room itself. It was cluttered , the bathroom was absolutely tiny plus there was also a smell of dampness. On a positive note however the bed was quite comfy ! Wouldn't return to this guest house.

This guest house is by far the best I have stayed in, in the Lake District. It is ideally placed for strolling down to Bowness on windermere or the other direction, a walk into windermere. A really comfy bed, beautifully clean room and bathroom. The owners were delightful and nothing was too much trouble! I will be staying again very soon! Love love love the Lakes! Also very quiet setting and plenty of parking space!

My first visit to the Lakes and Invergarry Guest House as over from Australia visiting family. Both the accommodation and the Lakes surpassed my expectations, along with Steve & Victoria’s knowledge of the Lakes and surrounding area. The accommodation was comfortable and clean, with some special touches which really made the difference, this included orange juice, sweets or cake and tea and ground coffee in the room. Plentiful on-road parking on a quiet road which is close to all the local amenities. Would recommend stay at Invergarry.

Thank you to Steve and Victoria. A really nice place, tide, clean and comfortable. We left the car just in front of the house and, thank to their advise, we visited the countryside walking or with buses. Well done guys and see you soon.
