I recently stayed at the Woodlands Hotel in the Lake District, and I was very pleased with the experience. First of all, the breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options including fresh salmon, which was a nice touch. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, giving it a homely feel. The hotel is also in a convenient location, with a nearby bus stop that makes it easy to reach the main attractions in the Lake District. Overall, it’s a great value hotel with attentive service. Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved Woodlands. The location in Windermere walk to village. 15 minute walk to Bowness. Easy driving distance of the national parks. Comfortable rooms. Enough rooms for bags. The full English breakfast is to die for. The staff are all friendly and professional. Would highly recommend staying at Woodlands.

Windermere is a very good hotel, quiet and clean. The room is very British style, I like it very much. The breakfast ordering style is pure British and I am used to it. The service is good and enthusiastic, and parking is convenient. Highly recommended.
