From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we had the best time x Such a welcoming and friendly atmosphere!! The room was compact, clean, very cosy and had everything we needed x The breakfast was lovely and the young staff in there were so friendly. The walk into the town centre takes 10 minutes so that was great x Would highly recommend!! :)

Fantastic stay at the beautiful Lodge. Mike & Lynn are great hosts, very friendly. Our room was lovely and very clean which overlooked the well maintained garden. Freshly cooked breakfast each morning in the gorgeous dining room. The accommodation is in a fantastic location, nicely set back but just a couple of minutes stroll to the bar’s & restaurants. A short stroll took us to the lake. We would highly recommend a stay here and would definitely stay again. Thanks Mike & Lynn for a great stay, hope to return soon!

A wonderful guest house conveniently placed to some good restaurants in Windermere and wonderful walks too. Mike and Lynne have a spotless, beautiful place and they are great hosts. Book direct with them for the best deal. We can’t wait for the chance to return there.

Mike and Lynne are great hosts. They go above and beyond to make your stay great. It was my fiancé's birthday and they made him some birthday pancakes complete with candle. He is Italian and they even took the trouble to look up how to wish him happy birthday in Italian. The property is beautiful and the rooms are spacious and exceptionally clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Wheatlands Lodge is an amazing hotel, in a fantastic location, run by wonderful, friendly hosts, Mike & Lynn, with free car parking, delicious breakfasts, superb decor, located in a quiet setting, close to Windermere centre. When we return to Windermere, we’ll definitely be booking this hotel, 100%.

We had a lovely stay at Wheatlands lodge. This was our third visit and as always we had a really nice stay. The breakfast was delicious and room was great! We love the location, so close to shops and restaurants and not too far away from the lake. We hope to return again soon!

Great stay for two nights everything went well.The hotel was spotless and the breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. The only slight was the bedroom was on the small side would definitely stay again but maybe would go for a bigger bedroom.

lovely 2 night stay, beautiful house and room, lots of attention to detail, even though we was only there 2 nights our room was cleaned and bed made, Great Breakfast, lots of choice, owners were very accommodating, Wheatlands is in a great location, close to bars and some shops, it is a good 20 min walk down to the lake but that was fine. Thank you.
