Classic Motor Lodge Providence - West Greenwich

These reviews misrepresent the Classic Motor Lodge. My room was clean and quiet, yes. The room was also a dump. Tired. Peeling. Chipped. Frayed. No closet or rod to hang clothes! No towel racks to hang towels! AC (fixed to Eco setting) that didn't seem to keep up w set temp. Restaurant across the street? A barn-sized biker bar that does fill up. Know what you're getting into when booking here.

This motel is terrible. I wouldn’t stay here if they paid me. We reserved through *******. It was pay at property. We checked in. There were signs up everywhere NO REFUNDS! I guess that should have been our first clue. Went to the room. The floor was coming up everywhere, the paint was ripped off the bathroom door. The shower faucet was disgusting and the caulk was coming up all around the shower. The bed skirt/sheet hanging out was stained. We decided to go have dinner and discuss it. I went back and told the person at the desk that the room was unacceptable and looked like the photos online and I wanted a refund. She said sorry no refunds. She called the owner who reiterated the same. I told her I would contest the charges with my credit card company. I went to the car and called them. They said the charge was pending and to call back once posted. I brought my receipt back into the woman and gave her the key. I asked her to please sing my receipt that I returned the key and date it so she did. A man was there trying to book 3 nights, I said I sell ya my two and the lady said no sorry we have a room for one night, I said well now you have mine for 2. It was $425 for the two nights. It was awful. DON’T stay here! Sleep in the car.

What a wonderful place! My husband and I always try to book independent, boutique-style hotels when we travel and The Classic Motor Lodge has become an instant favorite. It's in a great location, just a quick drive to so many towns we wanted to visit during our trip North Kingstown, Newport, Providence. I convinced my husband to get his Hot tub Room We stayed in a King suite, which was beautiful and spacious.

We stayed here one night on a Saturday in July. The place was clean and the owner was super nice and helpful. He answered our questions and gave us some recommendations on where to eat. I would recommend this place to sleep.

I'll tell you this husband and his wife are the most personable people i have ever met at a motel. They both Clean the Rooms And Run the office too. Room Was Clean With fresh Towels Every Day. Nice Place To Stay.

This was the filthiest place I’ve ever stayed. The place seems to have a lot of sketchy “things” going on the rooms on either side had a barrage of people coming and going from 11 pm till 4 am. Some are living here. Drug dealers outside over night over the weekend. Loud bikers and their friends come and go. In the morning I try to use the bathroom and the toilet seat dropped and water leaked. Then I try to take a shower, and there is no soap or shampoo! People can see my room completely from the highway every time I opened the door. Manager is irresponsible.
