Outstanding bed and breakfast in great location. Amazing attention to detail with friendly and helpful staff. Immaculate accommodations, beautiful grounds, and great breakfast. Bed and breakfast is just minutes from Volcano National park. Among the amenities included in our room was a shoe cleaning kit that came in very handy after spending a day hiking in the park. Book provided in the room covered everything you could think of and was extremely helpful. We grade this a six out of five!!

We were so happy with our stay in the Red Ginger room. We enjoyed the very clean, up to date, comfortable, well-furnished room with its beautiful garden view; the on-property garden walk; peaceful, beautiful surroundings; kind owners; and the excellent in-room breakfast served on our own schedule with real china and silverware. This is a beautiful place to stay minutes from Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.

Comfy bed, beautiful grounds, peaceful place, friendly owners Nicole and Gabrielle always put a personal touch. A nice warm place close to Volcanoes National Park. We always choose to stay here and we are locals. Great place for a staycation.

My Adult daughter and I recently stayed at this beautiful Bed and Breakfast, The grounds are beautifully kept and we enjoyed our time walking around and amongst the native Hawiian flowers. The room had the most comfortable bed I have slept on in a long time. The breakfasts were lovely and delicious with new surprises daily. The owners are knowledgeable and helpful with the local historical and tourist attractions. The ambiance of there Bed and Breakfast transports you to another world and you cant help but relax in this tropical side of Hawaii. You can't miss this opportunity to stay so close to the volcano to explore the many hiking opportunities. We will definitely be back.

A secret gem right in the rain forest of Volcano Village! This was really the most incredible Bed & Breakfast my husband and I ever went to (and we have travelled more than 60 countries in the world!). The owners Gabrielle and Nicole were the most considerate and loveable hosts you can possibly think of. The lodging does not only lack ANYTHING whatsoever but is equipped with literally EVERYTHING you might need and long for! The rooms in the „house in the mist“ are brand new and offer everything you dream of, including heated mattress covers when you feel chilly in the rain forest at night. We as Europeans were especially thrilled and happy about the usage of real china, real water and wine glasses and real solid reuseable cutlery instead of throw-away plastic equipment (so much harmful for nature and the environment) that is elsewhere so common across all of the U.S. Gabrielle and Nicole, you cannot estimate how much we appreciated this. The divers breakfast offers are all freshly prepared, very delicious (orange juice in GLASS bottles!!) The lodging combines a large paradise rainforest garden (PERFECT for relaxing) on a true historical site with an old wooden and charming little main building (that the owners use for themselves) and a brand-new 3 room guest house right next to it. The perfect ensemble! So sad we could not stay longer…. There is so much to discover in the surroundings. Next time we definitely will! My wife and stayed in Red Ginger for three nights. This is a wonderful place to stay, the owners thought of everything in the room, nice design, quality linens, robes, umbrellas available at the door, blankets on the chairs of the private patio. To be noted, this is not a typical B&B where guests gather in a breakfast room. Rather, each day your in-room fridge is stocked with items for the next morning. This was perfect for us since we usually wanted an early start so we could get to the park for hiking. There is a common room with more coffee if you run short in your room also. Highly recommend and will stay again.
