I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Gateway Hotel Beach Road and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The location is unbeatable, offering stunning views of the sea and easy access to the beach, which made for a perfect getaway. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and well-appointed with all the modern amenities one could ask for. The staff were incredibly hospitable and attentive, ensuring that every need was met with a smile.

Not a real Taj like feel. Check in was ok. Rooms are old and have no character. Very very basic room, except for the advantage of bay view from a few of them. Restaurants basic. Nothing special. Breakfast was very basic. Not like Taj. Check out was smooth.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Gateway Hotel, Vizag. The property is right across the beach and has an amazing view from the restaurant & bar. This property is 30+ yrs old but location is something to die for...Rooms are comfortable, breakfast spread is good. The best thing about this hotel is the Happy Hours which offers BUY1GET1 at Lawson Lounge until 10 pm. The staff is hospitable, they arranged a special table for us overlooking the sea. At the restaurant, staff accommodated our special request for kids food. The best thing I liked about the hotel was it's transparency. Right at the check-out counter, they have placed a placard stating 5% service charge is optional and u can claim it back. Most hotels hide this information while here we have a hotel that is vocal about it...thoroughly loved it! Areas of improvement: Bathrooms are dimly lit, clothes hanging hook is above the toilet seat which makes it unusable. Note: This property does not have a private beach

Family vacation. Good experience. 🤗 🤗Service is awesome. People are very accommodating.. A little improvement can be done in washrooms. Space can be increased in restaurants. Restaurant can also have bigger buffet. Somewhere we thought Taj experience was missing and people there are v good.

The stuffs are really nice specifically Mr.Abbas and his team(Manisha) were very helpful from the check in to checkout. But it doesn't cover up the fact that the property needs maintenance. It's now becoming aged and needs complete makeover.

By far the worst Taj experience. The property is really old and the overall hospitality does not matches the expected standards. Really crowded at breakfast with slow service. Dining in isn’t good either. Completely stay away from their pizzas. The only good thing about the property is the location and accessibility to the beach.
