It’s an old property but reasonably well maintained - nice big rooms , staff are great I arrived at 9am and was given a room to freshen up so I can get to work and when I came back I got allotted my room…ate at Kai again very good recommendation from the restaurant staff and food was good. A/c in the room worked well and water pressure was good (only i didn’t get hot water at 5 am but that’s ok) my only gripe was the breakfast it was not good in taste a small area to eat and staff seemed overwhelmed with the rush (hotel was full) but that is not a deal breaker …definitely will stay here again and recommend it for any solo traveller like me on business.

Very good hotel with decent ambience on the beach front. Rooms look fresh and neat. Staff is very helpful in guiding me and my family on the important places to visit in vizag. Don't miss Simhachalam temple, Araku valley, Borra caves, and Kailashgiri for some stunning views of the ocean. Food at the hotel is very good at the hitel especially their pan asian restaurant, Kai. If you are fond of south indian food then try their Dakshin restaurant.

I recently stayed at the Welcome Grand Bay in Visakhapatnam for the first time, and I had such a lovely experience. Before we even arrived, the front office manager, Mr. Rajeev Gandhi, reached out to arrange a smooth pickup from the railway station, which made our check-in process really easy. We were given a cozy suite with an amazing view—perfect for the relaxing weekend we had planned. The room was clean, well-stocked with amenities, and the staff were very friendly, especially when it came to helping us with restaurant timings and recommending dishes that suited our tastes. Breakfast at the Oceanic Café had a great variety of Indian and continental food, with live counters serving eggs, dosas, and French toast. For lunch and dinner, we dined at KAI, where we loved the sushi spread, Thai green curry, and udon noodles. The staff were attentive, answering our food-related questions and even suggesting dishes we ended up loving. Special thanks to Suprijito, Riya, Dipti, and the rest of the team at both the Oceanic Café and KAI for making our meals memorable. We were tempted to extend our stay but had to leave due to work commitments. We’re definitely looking forward to coming back!

We had a warm welcome with very cooperative staff and comfortable stay and delicious food. A short walk to the beach is a great advantage. The breakfast spread is delicious and filling The cordial staff are worth a special mention will recommend to others too for staying

I have stayed for two days. Good spacious rooms, sea view room. Good variety of foods and the taste is so good. Particularly the gym trainer Mr. Venkatesh is so friendly and given good inputs for fitness. He has taken more care for the guests at gym. Recommending one of the best hotel in vizag

I had a very pleasant stay. I loved the hospitality of staff members, very kind and supportive. Rooms are very clean and properly maintained. Food is also good, while ordering food one must instruct the desired spice level as the food here it's less spicy.

I visited for exhibition today at Grandbay hotel.. ….the new hall crown ambiance is beautiful. ….Special hospitality by Ms Priya,Anand and Dinesh…..highly recommended….helpful staff… facility is exceptionally good. I would recommend this venue and look forward to attending such events. Team is knowledgeable and have guided me well.

Perfect place to stay and enjoy..Food is very tasty..The breakfast spread is very very good .the live counter chefs are very nice and helpful.. Sambhar is very very tasty..all varieties are very nice..truly worth staying here.. Hospitality shown by the entire staff is worth mentioning ..
