Better than what I was expecting, from the first contact over the phone to the last at the check out. The room was quite spacious, it had a big wardrobe. I enjoyed the balcony over one of the main streets of Vigo, the proximity to the old town and many more things. All the staff were very friendly, approachable and polite at all time.

The hotel had attractive decor, was clean, modern and in a convenient position for exploring Vigo (lots to see!) on foot. I had a spacious apartment for my one-night stay, including a large comfortable bed, a separate living room and a bathroom. It was nice to have a living ”happy plant” in the bathroom, with the hotel stating feng shui principles had been used in design, and that every room was different. It was quiet. The windows above the desk were adorned with a lovely landscape photograph. They, and the bigger curtained windows, had a courtyard and hotel swimming pool view. As there were people using the pool and sunbaking, I had to keep the windows closed most of the time I was there in daylight. The desk had power sockets, which I always appreciate - and it's not the case everywhere. Wi-Fi worked well. There were great tv choices, for example, I watched a Lord of the Rings movie. There was a fridge and a safe. No electric jug, but possibly they would've given me one had I asked. The bathroom had a large sink, but not much bench space for toiletries, while the shower was good, with the temperature easy to adjust. (No bath, and tissues weren't provided.) My stay was on a Sunday which meant while cafes and restaurants were open, supermarkets and other stores weren't. I had a reasonably good room service meal at the hotel, and a good Spanish beer. The breakfast was just ok - no salad or potato dishes, mostly meat, cheese and sweets (maybe cereals, can't recall). Staff were helpful, particularly the woman on the night desk (the man who gave me a map earlier, and directions, was perhaps very busy, and less engaged). Overall, the hotel was good value and a good choice.

The hotel is renovated and is clean and careful. The location is great, just 10 minutes walk from the centre, and just next to the Urzaiz station and a shopping centre. The hotel was very comfortable and was very comfortable. The reception girls are super friendly and attentive. There are free coffee and 24h infusions in the cafeteria, something that I thought was a detail. The only thing I missed is the restaurant itself, to have dinner at the hotel some day, but in a B&B is what is expected, just accommodation and breakfast :P I recommend it very much.

Plus: From our point of view, a very good location, well connected to the bus station. There was no bigger problem to get to the beach or to the center. And when someone is going to the Celty match it ... you can't get better :). Near (up to 100 m) a large shop. Full of bars and restaurants nearby. Nice and helpful staff. Very good breakfast. It costs 11E, but if someone doesn't want to combine with searching for something in the city, the hotel has a very good alternative. Large selection, fresh, good quality products. The cleaning room, spacious daily cleaned. The bathroom is very nice, functionally equipped. A comfortable bathtub plus very good quality towels. From the third floor, a nice view of the surrounding Vigo ascent. I regret that we didn't get a few floors above. Very good quality ratio to price. Minuses: One thing, the only thing. If the room is well quiet from the corridor, it is already between the rooms until it is so good. So if you get a temperate pair of rooms next to it is ... :).

For work reasons, I habitually use hotel facilities, and for emotional reasons, I am also the father of the deputy directors of two hotels in a well-known Spanish hotel chain, but for objective considerations, I must admit that Vigo’s This Pazo dos Escudos hotel is one of them. The top ten best hotel complexes in Spain have the best quality of facilities, furniture, underwear, etc. This is a real gem, and your property and employees have ”responsibility and obligations” to move on. Congratulations

The site is beautiful surrounded by a forest of eucalyptus and rubles. Ideal if you go with animals. Peace is beautiful and very old. When we arrived we had a problem with the shower that was broken, it was a very warm day, and we couldn't do ourselves. At first we were told that they could not do anything until Monday (as it was Saturday) and we asked them for a solution, of course. We put the situation on them and the employees literally ”dislived” for it. Maria removed Rome with Santiago (never better said) to find a fountainer. Jessi proposed to change our room by seeing that it could not be solved. Montse came to see how we were several times and the boy (sorry but I don't know his name) cared for us gently. And how beautiful it was to wake up in the morning and listen to Mary's greeting of ”Good morning, how have you sleeped?” And the deal with our dog was INDEMBER. A disappointment, the magnificent location, the environment, the common spaces in the same line, the abundant and quality breakfast, but the rooms very, very, very below expectations, a lot of noise, old, not even a bottle of water courtesy or a kettle to drink an infusion that is in any hotel, uncorked walls next to the window and dirty ... well below a hotel of the same category, I expected much more. It would not be bad to improve the quality of the rooms because the price is charged as if they were up to date
