Best Vienna Spa Hotels

The service was very good everywhere. Check-in and check-out were very fast and convenient. The floor-to-ceiling windows at the corner of the room were double-glazed. It was very quiet even in the inner city. The front desk, bar, breakfast room and cleaning staff were all very nice. I liked the fruit tea, small bread and smoked salmon in the breakfast. I usually bring earplugs. It is common to have a door between two rooms abroad. It was the same when I stayed in Sweden. This time, the neighbors saw someone coming back and the noise was very low. I brought earplugs and it didn't have any impact. No one was next door for the next few days. I heard from my colleagues in Vienna that the inner city was better, so I chose a hotel in the inner city. The location is near the Sisi Museum. After visiting Sisi, walk south. The route is good. Then go to the other direction to see Stephen's Cathedral and the Black Death Memorial Column. I have been to Vienna once before. I feel that the hotel I booked this time is obviously much better than the 4-star hotel last time. The service attitude is better than Haidilao. It deserves to be a 5-star hotel.

Great location. Literally less than 2 mins walk from the hotel to Wien’s main/central train station. Excellent services and super friendly and helpful staff. Stayed here for three nights and no problems with everything at the hotel.

Get another Ritz room card haha, this location is very good, about five minutes walk from the Golden Hall, there are also some restaurants and supermarkets nearby, the location is very good. The front desk helped to check in was Madeleine, secretly recorded her name, she was too good, talking organized, super meticulous, super friendly, let me have a good first impression here. The price of the room is not low, the same price can live in a suite in China. The space is about 30 square meters. The shower space here is more spacious than Budapest. Haha, there is also a bathtub, and the toiletries are also diptyque fig series. The room supplies free glass bottle mineral water every day, and there is no turndown service on the Buda side, but the overall is also very good.

The hotel is excellent located near the central park, where the famous monument of Johann Strauss is. The metro station is just across the street. Walking to the St Stephen Cathedral and the entire city center is very easy, even with our toddler. From the moment of check-in we really felt pampered, thanks to the very warm welcome received at the reception. Our room was so nicely prepared with the extra bed a nice amenity for our daughter. The breakfast was reach with plenty of choices. I was impressed that you could get even fresh vegetable juice at your choice. I would recommend adding the access to the Club InterContinental to your reservation for the nice atmosphere, stunning views, tasty food and excellent service.

It's pretty and the hotel lives up to its reputation, but the hotel is too small and the noise of passersby talking on the street at night is too loud. I think it is at the level of a boutique hotel. It's friendly and the hotel service and cleanliness are good, but it's an old hotel so the facilities are below expectations.

We have always had great stays with Andaz Munich Schwabinger Tor. We have stayed there many times and some were for a week or two weeks at a time. Everytime, we were upgraded to an Andaz suite, which had a simple ”kitchen” with a microwave. The Andas suite is very large and with an extra guest toilet. These upgrades have always been given without any SUA. So this past weekend, becasue of our great experience with Andaz Munich, when we decided to visit Vienna, we chose Andaz Vienna instead of PH Vienna. To be on the safe side, we used points and reserved 3 nights and asked our concierge to apply a SUA to the reservation. Well, when we opened the door and saw our room, we were disappointed to see how small and basic the ”suite” was. It was still a nice room, but half the size of the Andaz suites we were used to in Andaz Munich. The hotel had more rooms available for upgrades, becasue when we went down to the FD and inquired politely if there were any other upgrades that we could get, they offered another suite with an additional €80 per day and an ”even better” suite for an additional €120 a day. We took the first offered room and found the new room to be very similar to the Andaz suite in Andaz Munich. (Later on we found out from other globalists that they have negotiated it down to €50 a day. ) We are curious as to what kind of room we would have been ”upgraded” to as a globalist, if we did not use an SUA. The room they offered after applying an SUA was the saddest that we have gotten. I think this is prob one of the reasons that Andaz Vienna is a cat 3 hotel. Except for the free breakfast, we did not feel anything special as a globalist. We did get a late check out. Andaz Vienna is a stone throw from Vienna Hauptbahnhof vs. PH Vienna is in the center of the old town. I think if we added up the extra € per day plus the taxi fares that we spent each day, it will make sense next time to stay in PH Vienna instead. It is Cat 6, requires more points, but I am sure they will treat Globalists much better than the Andaz Vienna.

The service at the Marriott was excellent, the rooms were immaculate, there is a large indoor heated pool we enjoyed, there were lots of people at the front desk and it has a great location. The hop on hop off bus stops at the front door, it is walking distance to Mozart's house and the magnificent St. Stephen's cathedral, the hofburg with the imperial apartments, the Spanish riding school, cici museum, the royal Treasury with the crown jewels, and the Jewish museum. There are lots of fine shops and a variety of restaurants in the area as well as a pedestrian shopping area. We were disappointed with lunch at the Garden cafe but there are other places to dine. We will definitely return when we are in the area again.

Very good boutiq hotel. The staff were welcoming and the local restaurant recommended was very tasty. We ate for two nights. The hotel's renovated rooms are large and comfortable, and the breakfast is exquisite; the location is very good, the museums are all within 5 minutes walk, and the Royal Palace can be reached within 10 minutes on foot. A highly recommended hotel!

I chose this hotel more by accident than planning but I was so very pleased when we arrived. The location is great as it is within short walks to busses, trams and trains. The receptionists are super helpful to explain how to get to different places.  Our room was a fantastic size with a super comfortable bed.  The bathroom was lovey and warm and had everything we needed.  I love the fact the hotel works towards being eco friendly and we chose not to have a daily clean to help with this.  I would highly recommend anyone to book a stay here. We’ll certainly come back.

The hotel is lovely. Well presented. Airy. Nice chilled atmosphere. Good breakfasts. Room was clean, well presented with a lovely large bathroom. The hotel is not in the centre of Vienna but with a train stop almost opposite (and a 3 day public transport pass at 17 euros) it’s easy to get around. The staff are pleasant. The bar well stocked. We would go back. The only thing that let it down for us was the fact that in 3 days they didn’t fix our bathroom door (which wouldn’t close 🙈) and didn’t clean our room on one day.
