The hotel is fantastic in every way! It is in the center of the city close to everything, but it is also quiet. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was emaculate, comfortable, and offered all the amenities we needed. My wife and I ate breakfast at the hotel 3 days; there was a variety to chose from and the food was fresh and delicious. It was the perfect ending of our 2 week 30th anniversary trip!! Thank you to everyone at the hotel for making it so memorable.

The most comfortable, comfy lobby and great to hang out in. This proudly 'green' hotel has a really bright yet cozy vibe to it as seen from the pictures. Well-situated, Hotel Gilbert has an easy access to shops and restaurants. While the Reception/Front Desk is a few steps up from the entrance, the elevators to the rooms are at the street level, so this wasn't so bad. Best to leave suitcases on the bottom of the stairs when checking in or out, instead of uselessly lugging it up the steps. Staff is helpful in this regard. I had an issue with our request for rooms on the same floor, which I had already communicated to the hotel from the time I booked. They were unable to accommodate us, sadly. Front Desk and I were able to iron out this matter when they showed me both junior suites and I then I accepted the separate floors. I give credit to the customer service skill of Ilya (I think that was the tall guy's name). Along with our check-in came an invitation for a welcome drink of wine to be presented at in-premises restaurant &Flora at cocktail hour. We loved it so much that we had our cocktails every night in &Flora. We also had our first night's dinner there and loved the food! I wasn't that impressed with breakfast for the price. So after availing of breakfast the first morning, we skipped it after that. Staff: good service ~ since we had to ask for our extra toiletries and other housekeeping needs like towels and such from the Front Desk, it was nice that they were accommodating and pleasant. Housekeeping kept our rooms clean! Rooms: we booked 2 Junior Suites so we would have more space and we loved the layout of a cozy living room on one side, the bathroom in the middle and the bedroom on the other side. It worked wonderfully for us and there was a lot of desk spaces, a spacious closet and an old phonograph to play vinyl records on! Charming feature! Will not hesitate to stay in this hotel again.
The apartment has a cooking stove and a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee machine, but you have to buy the ingredients yourself. Breakfast is not provided. The location is very good. It is 5 minutes walk to the beauty palace, and then 5 minutes walk to the Central Railway Station
Because watching other people's strategies are mixed, and I know that there is no reception to contact the hotel himself, he will wait for you at the door in an appointment. I contacted in advance and an uncle was waiting for me in the hotel. The people were very nice and gave us a lot of suggestions and told us how to play. It was great, but the hotel did n’t have toiletries. I had to bring my own. I stayed for two days. I did n’t have a hair dryer on the first day. I reflected with that person and brought one immediately the next day.

During my stay in Bhumtang (which is known as the Switzerland of Bhutan) I stayed at this really authentic yet modern resort- River Lodge. Located at a height from where the entire scenic view of Bhumtang is visible, the stay was an absolute delight. The extremely caring owner made sure that we had a great breakfast with organic apples right from his own farm. The staff was very warm and friendly, they also made sure that we were kept warm throughout in the -10 degrees freezing temperature. The market was only a 5 minute walk from the hotel and the town is most happening during the evenings. All in all it was a beautiful stay at a beautiful location and I would highly recommend to everyone visiting Bhumtang!
Very good hotel. Convenient location: there are tram stops nearby. In this hotel we rented a room similar to a small apartment. There is a kitchen (refrigerator, stove, kettle, dishes). This was exactly what we needed. We wanted to live in Vienna, go to the store and cook our own food. The owner of the hotel is a responsive person. My plans changed several times and each time he met me halfway, for which I am so grateful to him.
I stayed at this hotel with my mum, while we were visiting Vienna for a week, in July 2022. There was no option to go back this far on Trip Advisor , so please bear this in mind! We had been travelling around Austria for three weeks, and stayed here for one week in July 2022. It's a grand old-fashioned high ceilinged 19th century Viennese building, which has been turned into a hotel. While it's beautiful and impressive to look at and wander around in, you realise how impractical this is once you start staying there. The rooms are spacious and comfortable - but no atmosphere to them. Just the basics provided, without any attempt to make you feel comfortable there. The bathroom was on a step down from the bedroom area, and without proper ventilation inside, so it got very hot and stuffy while using it. When we visited, temperatures hit upwards of 35 degrees - and so, in a hotel full of carpets, grand windows and high ceilings, the atmosphere was stifling! They gave us a few fans, but this really didn't help with air circulation. It's not the hotel's fault - but if they know this will a problem in the future, perhaps they can better prepare for it. However, one fault of the hotel is definitely the staff they employed - cold unfriendly, and pretentious. When we arrived, we asked if there were restaurants in the area we could go to - the clerk replied he had no idea. Later on, we discovered plenty as we wandered down the road... We also asked if we can have hot water or a kettle of some kind, to make tea and coffee in our room. The clerk looked really shocked by this request and didn't offer any help at all. I don't think it's too unreasonable to ask for that in a hotel, especially a 4 star one. I jokingly called it Hotel Atlantis, while we were there - because it felt like it was a proud, ancient hotel that had fallen into the sea, and they hadn't bothered to look after it since then!
We booked this hotel through Jet 2, a company we have used several times. It had some good points, it was clean and there was plenty of hot water. Breakfast was good, with a selection of cold meats, cheeses, rolls and hot dishes. Our room was well appointed with ample cupboards and drawers, however the lighting was poor and we struggled to read at night. The bathroom was very small (it reminded us of one on a cruise ship) with a very dated shower cabinet which required one to step up, and the towels very very thin and small. The area the hotel is located in is fairly run down and we were not terribly comfortable walking out at night. The U Bahn is located nearby though and we used it all the time. There are not very many decent places to eat in the area and we chose to eat in the centre but we did enjoy an inexpensive supper at Das Augustin near the hotel. Vienna is a beautiful and elegant city which we have visited before on several occasions and we were aware that this was a budget hotel.
Everything went pretty smoothly, the apartment was very clean, the bed was comfortable although not really sure what the second midget pillow is about. The shower was powerful and always lots of hot water. There are manuals for appliances on the guest app but that's not going to help you much with the dishwasher as there's no English version so you will have to guess. The kitchen area has everything you need but is very compact with no prep area, there's not even room for the kettle so that is in a different area of the apartment. There's plenty of cupboard space and the microwave/grill cooks well. Just a couple of things to be aware of, they send you a link to check in on the morning of your stay which was fine but when you get there the machine can't find you, I then had to call to try and sort it out , it couldn't find us because they had allocated a room number and emailed it to me, tbh checking my emails is the last thing I'm going to be doing whilst travelling so that could be a bit clearer as when you check in they don't tell you that's what they're going to do. The second is the tv, there are a lot of channels but only one in English which is the China and global tv news which as you can imagine gets a bit boring after a while. There's a supermarket across the road which says it closes at 8 but they want you out at 7.30 and closes earlier at weekends so make sure you get everything that you want earlier in the day. There's also a couple of nice restaurants close by, Bauernbraeu which is Austrian and Al teatro l'idea which is Italian. The underground is really close by and only takes a few minutes to walk.
Stayed here for one night in a single room whilst solo travelling, the room was modern and clean and had a mini fridge with complementary bottle of water and a small double bed, the only issue I had was that the AC unit didn't really work and it was about 25 Deg C outside so was hard to sleep. Breakfast was nice with a good selection but a bit crowded for the space available. Would recommend staying here.

Hotel Ambassodor. Visited for a Christmas holidays. Excellent location, right in a center of pedestrian area in the center of old town. We had a suit on the sixth floor, under the roof with a view of St. Stefan. Two TVs, kitchen amenities, did not need to ask for a kettle. It was available along with coffee maker loaded with capsules. Excellent breakfast, Good service, clean suit. Quite satisfied.

Outstanding
GGuest UserI chose this hotel more by accident than planning but I was so very pleased when we arrived. The location is great as it is within short walks to busses, trams and trains. The receptionists are super helpful to explain how to get to different places.
Our room was a fantastic size with a super comfortable bed.
The bathroom was lovey and warm and had everything we needed.
I love the fact the hotel works towards being eco friendly and we chose not to have a daily clean to help with this.
I would highly recommend anyone to book a stay here. We’ll certainly come back.
WWenjingJavelinI got another Ritz room card haha. The location of this hotel is very good. It is only about a five-minute walk from the Golden Hall. There are also some restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The location is very good.
The person who helped check in at the front desk was Madeleine. I secretly wrote down her name. She was so nice. She spoke in an organized manner, was very meticulous, and was very friendly. My first impression of this place was very good.
The price of the room is not low. You can get a suite at the same price in China. The space is only about 30 square meters. The shower space here is larger than that in Budapest. There is also a bathtub and the toiletries are also from the diptyque fig series.
The room provides free glass bottles of mineral water every day. It is not as good as the turndown service in Buda, but overall it is very good.

GGuest UserIt is a modern high tower of which only the lower 8 floors are hotel rooms. We had a beautiful view from the 7th on the Danube. Breakfast is on the 4th, a nice breakfast room, everything is there for a tasteful breakfast. Good service at reception. Parking under the building. There is a large shopping center with dining facilities. And public transport close to, so in the center
GGuest UserThe apartment is outside the centre of Vienna, but super accessible for any means available nearby: 1.metropolitana (it is 3 minutes walk, behind the corner) 2.stazione Regional trains (beside the metro for any destination) 3. Bus: you need to cross the train station to access the bus headline (line400) 4.tram: it is also the god of the park having crossed the bus stop (tram line D) With regard to supermarkets, the hotel is the practitioner The hotel, not our staff x the reception at the arrival time, is practical in check-in. When booking you receive a door code to enter and then on the input bank will only scan the qr-code received during the booking, enter the booking and take the cards made available to you The floor has a relaxing room with sofas, chairs and tables and a kitchen floor to make coffee (for payment) or wash tools. There are also drinking machines or food. In addition, you can find the room to wash your clothes, you can access through the room card (You need to download the Miele app and the rechargeable mini-bar is €20!). The apartment is silent, the only sin found was the heat air thermostat, as the recirculation was always cold even increasing the temperature and with 6 degrees outside we asked for reception assistance and the The next day, in addition to us, six apartments were set at least and therefore after the technician's place, the temperature was reversed to the winter season. On every floor (always accessible with your card) there is a vacuum tool where towels, sticks, toilet paper, washing boxes and washing bags can be taken, as well as the dust and stick to be used. Recommended. The waste as requested on the site is accessed with the lift that has the U key.
TTigernassifMelia Vienna Hotel is a symphony of luxury, nestled within the modern and dynamic DC Tower. The hotel stands as a testament to refined elegance, offering guests captivating views of Vienna and allowing them to immerse in a sanctuary of comfort and style.
From the very first moment, the welcoming and diligent staff displayed a high level of professionalism and warmth, setting a hospitable tone that persisted throughout my stay. The check-in was efficient and cordial, indicative of the seamless service that is a hallmark of Melia Vienna.
The accommodation was a masterpiece of comfort and sophisticated design, with plush bedding and cutting-edge amenities, creating an ambiance of tranquility and luxury. The meticulous cleanliness and upkeep of both the room and the communal areas spoke volumes about the hotel’s commitment to excellence.
The gastronomic experience at Melia Vienna was a culinary delight, featuring a plethora of delectable dishes that embody the rich gastronomic heritage of Vienna while integrating flavors from around the world. The presentation was visually appealing, and the ambiance of the dining area was both elegant and relaxing, adding to the enjoyment of every meal.
The hotel’s prime location is a boon, offering easy accessibility to the cultural treasures, business districts, and vibrant life of Vienna. The state-of-the-art fitness center and tranquil spa facilities provided the perfect antidote to the hustle and bustle of the city, ensuring a balanced and rejuvenating stay.
To sum up, Melia Vienna Hotel is a jewel in Vienna’s hospitality scene, combining unparalleled service, luxurious accommodation, gourmet dining, and a superb location to provide a memorable and enriching experience for all guests seeking the charm and elegance of Vienna.
AAleksIt was almost the cheapest option for us. It’s ok if you don’t have high expectations. Double bed is combined from 2 singles beds. There is No kettle in the room, you need to go to reception and ask them hot water and it’s for price 50+euros per room. Window faces nowhere, it’s a little bit dark in the room.
Location is good, 150 meters from subway, 5 minutes from railway station and very close to Belvedere.
GGuest UserThis hotel is basic but clean, its very person centred the receptionists whoever is on are very helpful. Great breakfast. It’s not the easiest to get to from Vienna Airport but don’t let that put you off around €65 by taxi or the hotel can arrange it for €45 there’s a tram stop outside 15 minutes to the centre they run like clockwork every 5-10 minutes, 24 hour ticket €7 for all travel ( shh but no ticket inspectors so up to you!! 😂) Tatax Vietnamese restaurant a few doors away is amazing lovely bar chilled melodic vibes great food and unbelievably cheap. There’s not a lot else in the area but with trams non stop you can anywhere!
BBo RFor the price this room was perfect. The location is not far from the U1Metro and you are equally close to the city center.
When I first arrived I used the lift to get my heavy bag to the main floor. Unfortunately, with all my bags I failed to read the notice about the red line that you must be in front of so I was temporarily stuck in the elevator. I called the listed number and they cleared that up immediately.
The room is a bed a desk and a television with a full bathroom. For the price I found this to be more than enough. The breakfast is a little overpriced for what is being offered but I didn't bother since I was so close to so many restaurants.
The front desk is occupied only a few hours a day and when I first arrived my key was sitting on the desk with my name on it. This was at around 4:30PM so I was a little surprised. The next day I was able to share my passport info and check in. I was able to call the number and speak with someone at 11pm to extend my stay a day so I can't complain about the service.
Perhaps the only thing that made the stay less than perfect was the wifi was very spotty and disconnected frequently. Luckily, due to the central location in the capitol of Austria cell service was top notch.
I would happily stay again at Dan's In'n Out and I can recommend it wholeheartedly.

GGuest UserThe rooms are a little date but very clean with daily cleaning. Read a little hard but comfortable. There is a very good breakfast and varied. Showing location 5 minutes from the metro and tram. Surely recommended for a visit to Vienna.
